I have the munchies - big time. I am typing up DHs sample menu for the possible new job and it is making me hungry (and thirsty!)

I am a "step-granny" to a horse called Dexter! Yay for DSD.

I'm being a bit silly really, I have 4 pushchairs atm! I am selling 3 of them though and need to buy a stroller type that reclines. I have to sell the ones I have first though, dp has told me!

I lurve stew and dumplings bumper...mmmm!! Mine always tastes yum, I use Kalo (I think that's what they are) stock cubes which are really yummy and you can get them in a low salt organic variety for when lo is eating.

Well done on the spuds daisy! It always makes me feel fabbo when I cook great spuds!

bumper, have you tried expressing a little bit onto your nipple so she knows it there, but that she just has to work at it a bit?

my roasties were sooooo gorgeous, golden brown and crispy on the outside and gorgeusly fluffy on the inside.

pity about the crackling though any tips for good rackling...mine is always soft and soggy with a couple of crispy corners if I'm lucky.

or do you need a twin one?

I do crackling by slashing the fat with a knife and then rubbing it with salt and a little oil. I put the roast in a super hot over for about 15-20 mins before turning it down to the normal cooking temp.

I don't know why I didn't keep the Maclaren daisy, I spose I want to try something new. I love pushchairs as much as I love nappies and like to try different ones! I was thinking about a M&P Ziko or Luna. I am putting some pushchairs on ebay atm, so hopefully they should sell and I can buy a new one...HOORAY!

Yeah tried that no joy. She's actually ok for the minute now we have calmed her down as she has our undivided attention. Maybe she wasn't hungry, but she seemed like she was a minute ago. 4 months on and i obviously don't know dd very well. She is now just snogging her monkey and being whingy. I'm convinced she is hungry but will have to wait till she deigns to feed from me!

Have switched to Sky and reduced my bill by half, but my stress has quadrupled. Have lost my wireless connection completely and my internet access keeps dropping out. They tell me to send my laptop back to Dell, but its been working for 3 weeks OK. Had these problems at the start, but I sorted them, now its fucking up again.

I am mad.

DP is back - and is watching the rugby in the other room. He got back about 40 minutes ago, said goodnight to the kids, heated up his dinner and fucked off.

I am not in the best of moods.

Mmm dinner sounds lovely Daisy...I do crackling the same way as FayLisa....I done pretty good roasties tonight as well...we had duck last Sunday so potatoes were cooked in duck fat tonight...although we didn't have lamb as planned cos I forgot to take it out of freezer so Tesco's Steak and Ale pie it was!

More farking rugby on tonight then...wonder if that's why MN crashed last night?

Hi to all the usual suspects that remember me as SG, I think I will probably change back, this is boring. And Hi to Fairyfay I don't think we have met. I have been AWOL since birth quite a bit.

Have skim read most of posts as so many - TA PCOS thing I was diagnosed with it, plus endo whatsit and only one tube working and look what happened to me, there is hope. Oh, and SW is what is working for me I have now lost 1st and 2lbs in 4-5 weeks. And I have eaten chocolate, and drank wine (obviously a lot less than normal).

I agree that Sky BB is shit, but it costs me nothing so I stick with it.
