I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:10

There do seem to be a lot of 13ths around.

All this talk of lice is making me itch - ughhhhhhhh. I dread my first encounter with the little blighters

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 21:10

Holly are you kidding?
Wow

'Little DH' does actually get reasonably regular action.

IamDaisy · 13/10/2007 21:10

do you think I should e-mail the owner asking if there will be decoarations up, or should we bring or own??

DS is worried that Santa won't be able to find us.....erm the boot full of presents might just give the game away.

..or, we order everything over the internet and have it delivered to my mums then we can move it to the cottage on Christmas eve after DCs in bed.

and on that subject, what are we all getting our LOs for Christmas???

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 21:10

Guilty as charged for not doing it

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 21:11

No, not kidding! AmI a bad person?

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 21:11

Ria do you not?

Horace and I have fabulous chats over a currant scone. He begs me to keep the tea lukewarm though.

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:11

Me too dogtanian - DH is getting a bit desperate but I just can't 'get in the mood'. If I have any time to myself all I want to do is sit down or sleep.

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 21:13

Get DS to leave a note at your house for Santa just in case he hasn't heard you're going away Daisy, that should put his mind at rest.

riabutterflew · 13/10/2007 21:14

nope, we don't chat. don't have much in common. I like my tea scaldinghot so it's probably just as well.
don't think dh has a name for it.

IamDaisy · 13/10/2007 21:14

erm, just the once holly, at about six weeks, and I was half asleep so was taken by surprise.....literally

DH doesn't seem to be that desperate.....it does worry me as I only have his word for it that his housemate Danny is a 55 year old married father of two.....danni could be a 25 year old waitress with legs up to her armpits.

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 21:15

Exactly fairyfay -though I did actually feel like it after a peaceful night out the other night, I was just too knackered to do anything about it!

Bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 21:15

Did it once. It hurt. Not doing it again. Ever.

IamDaisy · 13/10/2007 21:16

I'm confused now with all the cross chat going on....who is horace?

fay...did we ever finish that game of scrabble?

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:17

Does he write a letter to Father Christmas - he could tell him in that?

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 21:17

I think all this not wanting to do it may be our bodies' way of stopping us getting knocked up again! Glad I'm not the only one!

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:18

Daisy, We are still scrabbling - your turn - I have 'poked' you (given the current conversation, that sounds very dodgy )

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 21:18

Have to day you've made me feel much better too Holly

IamDaisy · 13/10/2007 21:18

lol

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 21:19

(say not day of course)

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:19

Could be dogtanian. I know several people who were pg again at three months - the thought of that makes me want to keep my legs very firmly crossed.

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 21:20

lol ria

Horase isn't actually it's name I just made that up. DH hasn't given it a name. I just asked him and he said I can call it 'Champion' LOL

fairyfay · 13/10/2007 21:20

I think my DH thinks he's the only one not getting any - maybe we should start a support group for our unfulfilled DHs

Bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 21:22

Holly, getting your first car is lovely isn't it? I still have mine, it's a Corsa called Penfold (that's what the garage it originally came from was called). I love it!

DH is getting a bit desperate but never pleases himself, just in case I decide to do it and he wastes the opportunity (it's not going to happen in the near future mate!)

Mmm Fury, Tim tams, yum, especially when tea sucked through them like a straw (also works with a Twix). Am I gross?

Your Christmas trip sounds lovely Daisy. Not sure what to get LO for Christmas. I've asked Grandma for some kind of walker toy. Don't want to spend loads when she won't appreciate it!

Oooh, btw did you manage to get the fly lady stuff in a PDF file or summat, I couldn't download them?

dogtanian · 13/10/2007 21:23

Anyone scrabbing? I'll play.

LittleMissNorty · 13/10/2007 21:24

Blimey, in the time it took me to catch up and eat my yummy dinner, you'd almost got through another thread!

Forgotten most of what I was gonna say now.....

I'm not buying DD anything for Xmas...no other DCs and she's too little so no point - DH and I don't bother either...I do all the accounting in this house and will find out beforehand anyway!!
