I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

i'm sure your new colour will look fab.
check this out

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:53

Right, think I might go and drink my wine and go to bed as I am now most definately on double kid duty as DH has been called out to a sewerage treatment centre in Newbury - which is 2 hours each way plus time there! Great! thats DH wiped out for the weekend now.

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 22:54

bed time for me, night all (good luck Bumper x)

bumperlicious · 12/10/2007 22:55

Alright derlor, let's do it! After all, there is only one way to find out. Going to have to have a bit of a pump before I go to bed though. I know she'll wake up if she is hungry - that's what I am worried about! But then she is so gorge in the morning, all smiley and wriggly, all is forgiven!

Right, better go then, although DH will be on feeding duty, by the time I kick him awake I will be up and won't be able to get back to sleep!

Night all, glad to have you back SG, meet up in the new year would be good.

riabutterflew · 12/10/2007 22:55

nite.

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:56

Subtle!

Hey Sputnik - DM babysat whilst I went to hairdressers I could hire her out to you this week, very reasonable price to you of course

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:57

That sounds like a glamorous job.
I should be off too, come back soon

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:57

Night all xxx Probably back in week when DD at FULL TIME school!!!

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:59

Rent-a-gran!
I'm up for it, how much?

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 23:03

Come to think of it I could probably approach some of the ladies in the supermarket who would clearly pay ME for a couple of hours with Baby Sputnik, he is that adorable. I love how Italians love babies

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 07:50

She's only just woken up, whoo hoo! DD slept through from 8.30. All the nights I've been waking the wee mite up, she just wanted to be left alone to sleep!

HellHathNoFury · 13/10/2007 08:08

WOOHHOOOO BUMPER!

I was wondering how you got along!

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 08:16

Hee hee, though I've been up since 6 coz of DH's damn alarm clock!

She doesn't even seem ravenously hungry like I though she would. She took both breasts pretty quickly and is now laying on my lap being scrummy!

Hope you have a nice weekend planned fury.

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 08:23

Sputnik, I like your idea of renting out the baby. We already made a tenner from a random granny by touting DD on a street corner (well DH was waiting outside a shop with the pram)!

Sputnik · 13/10/2007 09:12

Well done Bumper, and baby Bumper!
Wonder how Derlor got on.

We, on the other hand, regressed. Having woken and got fed at 11, Baby sputnik woke again at 2.30. DDh owever went her 3rd night without waking so I hope she's over her wobbly getting used to school phase.

You working today, Fury?

milkyJammy · 13/10/2007 09:19

Well done to the Bumpers!
LO had a good night, sleeping 7.30 - 5.30 and then 6.00 - 7.30. And is now dozing on my lap! What a sleepy baby.

So I got a pretty good sleep myself, and DH sorted out one of the stinkiest nappies known to babykind , so having a good day so far. We're off to an NCT sale later, so hope the day continues well with lots of bargains to be found.

And yes Bumper, I've taken to milky Jammy as a name and I would indeed be interested in a threesome!

Elsbells · 13/10/2007 09:24

Morning....Bumper I am very very jealous.
I keep wondering if we should leave DD to "sleep through". She is woken up around 10:00pmish for a bottle but I have to wake her at 8am for her morning feed and she doesn't eat much. Maybe we dare do it too? Sadly, the evenings is DH's time w/DD so may hold off. We just love putting DS to bed and cuddling DD on the sofa.

Morning Sputnik/Ta - hope your day has started well.

Must go
I am attempting a step class. I am so unco-ordinated it is bound to be a disaster.

Elsbells · 13/10/2007 09:25

Oh MJ- sounds you have turned a corner too!
wow
enjoy the sale

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 09:43

YEAH for Bumper - YEAH for baby upsyderlor too she slept till 0645 then fed and back to sleep till 0815 when DD1! woke her up
i had one of those sleeps where you just drop off then BAM it's morning - feel a bit cheated of a great sleep.
ELSBELLS a step class - flip i'm impressed. My new mobile phone has a built in pedometer and (so far when i remember to put it in my pocket) i have been managing between 8 and 12 thousand steps a day - so NOT a step class i know but still a lot of steps!!

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 09:47

Yay derlor! I've sent you an email by the way, bit of a long'n!

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 09:52

Hope you get some bargains milkyJ! I love NCT sales, even though they are a bit of a bun fight! Get there early!

Els, I think the thing that did it for us is that DD really didn't want to wake up at 10.30. She would gulp down a feed when she did wake up, but it was often a bottle, then the night before last I tried to bf her and she just wasn't bothered and kept falling asleep, that plus the fact that DH volunteered to get up if she woke!

I'm not going to be smug though, everyone I know seems to get to the 4 month mark and they start waking regularly again through the night. Dreading that!

upsyderlor · 13/10/2007 10:04

got it Bumper in the process of replying, bare with me x

bumperlicious · 13/10/2007 10:11

Thanks derlor, no hurry, i'm not on the window ledge! Yet!

Blondenomore · 13/10/2007 10:49

Wahey! and well done to baby derlor and baby bumper good little babies!!

DS also slept pretty much through - from 7.15pm until 6.20am, has fed and had a ten minute power nap at 8.30am and is now only just asleep. Its great that he sleeps but I have a feeling hes going to be a "I'm awake now for most of the day so amuse me" Never happy are we?

Just out of curiosity am I the only one 'weaning early' as my HV put it?

Also feeling a bit mixed today have a night out planned later (only to pub and curry house with DH) BUT have slowly began to realsie that I think I've been 'had' by bogus ticket touts for my foo fighters tickets watched ITV last night and have checked up on this company and it is looking doubtful
