I think all that talk of superheroes made us all a bit feisty

OP posts:

oooohhhh... Derlor someone I know!!! yippeeee!!! I'm not bad as it goes.

What about you?? Have you got your Boden coat? And how is the lovely Mr Derlor?

Have been a bit 'wobbly' here and there found DD starting school a bit stressful TBH, has played havoc with DS routines as she has been half days But things turning a corner and DS sleeping nearly through!!

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:19

hey Seansgirl, we've missed you. How's things?

Seansgirl · 12/10/2007 22:21

Bumper! Sorry I have disappeared we were going to meet up - the school thing has affected things more than I thought! My lovely DD has changed a lot in th past few weeks and has been very trying.....

Seansgirl · 12/10/2007 22:24

Sputnik! Hows it going? Hows DD and DS? My Dps are off to your neck of the woods again in the morning! They love it staying with the family and they are hoping that we will come over at some point in the future. DD is sort off 'writing' to their granddaughters.

bumperlicious · 12/10/2007 22:25

Well done for kids in bed and having a lovely bath Foxy!

at faylisa and the knife, but well done on not panicking around the DC's!

@els being american, well have none of you Johny foreigners round 'ere! Baby groups are going ok by the way, it's just exhausting meeting new people and being nice Bumper, so glad I can come on here and be the whinging trout you know and love! I guess it just takes a while before you can relax. Not that I pretend or anything, what you see is mostly what you get, but you have to test the boundaries a bit at first, even more so with us all being 1st time mothers and sensitive about our parenting skills.

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:26

SG, have been going through the same thing here with DD starting preschool. Not been an easy few weeks but getting better.

You could've come on here and shouted AAAARRRSSSSSE, you know

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 22:26

oh SG, sorry things have been a bit stressful - i think we all have good and bad times but i'm glad things looking up and you're feeling like coming back here again xx
Coat is on order and will be here 1st week in Dec - (got 15% off with code ) the lovely Mr derlor is doing just fine - except for a stiff neck since his spectacular crash a couple of weeks ago (muppet)

bumperlicious · 12/10/2007 22:27

Oh no SG, is it not going well? I meant to email and tell you I hadn't forgotten. When things are a bit more settled... Milkyjammy (is that your name now jamantha?) also doesn't live that far away, so if we do decide to meet up we can do a threesome (ooh matron!).

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:30

Wow, they can't stay away can they.
Weather is still half decent by british standards [cheek]. Would be great if you could make it over too one day

bumperlicious · 12/10/2007 22:34

OK, DD finished feeding at about 8ish, and after 20mins of crying actually went to sleep, so the question is, do I wake her as usual or see if she will sleep through, DH has volunteered to get up and feed her if she wakes. Will she be alright missing a feed? She's only a tiddler bless her!

Shedfourstone · 12/10/2007 22:35

Ta dah!!! This is my wish of course - not that I have - but I have managed a stone!!!

riabutterflew · 12/10/2007 22:35

hi sg - welcome back.

bumper - evil mummy nice daddy is just a little taste of what you have to come! the arses!!!

ff - that sounds like a nasty experience. hope you are ok.

well done foxy!

is that everyone? hi to everyone i've forgotten

talking of scary things - we are off to look round ds1s "big" school next week. said school has been on the news today because a fight landed a 15yo in hospital in hull (40 miles away) this week.

riabutterflew · 12/10/2007 22:37

i would risk it bumper. esp if dh is happy to.

riabutterflew · 12/10/2007 22:39

i think if she's hungry she will wake up, and if she sleeps through then she is satisfied on what she's getting at daytime.

baggins doesn't sleep through, and he feeds a lot during the day. sorry, that's no help.

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 22:40

/bumper i have so far ALWAYS woken DD for a sleepy feed prior to me going to bed i have earlier decided that tonight is the night to TRY and let her sleep through without this, lets try together (btw my DD last fed at 1800!!) it'll be fine

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:40

No think this is better (for tonight anyway)

Bumper with your DD go with what you think is best. I hope I haven't come in on a subject and missed the point? I never wake DS at night, and I never did with DD. But then everyone is different.

And I'd love a threesome maybe in the new year would be good?

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 22:41

however, our norks might just explode

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:42

Bumper, leave her and see what happens. I tried that and it worked (ie he woke at usual time). That said he just woke up now for 1st time in ages (normally zonksout at 8.30 / 9.00. Have fed him and have gorgeous baby keeping me company.

1 stone, I am impressed, what's your secret?

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:43

Rias right she'll wake if shes hungry. DS last fed at 6.30 btw and I am expecting him to sleep until at least 5am, hopefully 6am (as its my turn) I have tried the sleepy feed with DS and it never worked with him. Though I should also say he has been up since 6.15 and has slept approx 2-3 hours and fell asleep at 7.15pm so he must be exhausted!

upsyderlor · 12/10/2007 22:43

SG you've lost a STONE!!!!!! congratufuckinglations my girl and what colour is the hair now then? beautiful brunette perhaps? or ravishing red?

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:44

Slimming World Sputnik, pure hell if you ask me, but I am so disgustingly fat.

riabutterflew · 12/10/2007 22:46

thanks for sending that stone my way. well done!

is it me or is QI not funny any more? I watched hot fuzz last night and i thought it ws crap too. maybe my humour has upped and gone?

Sputnik · 12/10/2007 22:46

Me too

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:48

In a mid-colour stage at moment a sort of brown - was supposed to be a lovely caramel but as I had so much blonde, it hasn't quite worked out - but am assured that next time will be a big improvement! Am heading for my natural dark brown colour (possibly it may actually be grey I've been blonde that long)

Blondenomore · 12/10/2007 22:49

I don't believe you sputnik
