Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty against a background of constant whinging!

hi sputnik! i think that is a justifiable purchase, think of what you've saved had you of bought them both from figleaves!

sputnik · 23/08/2007 11:05

maybe you're right, what with the 20% off code, and the fact that I need a new bra too.....

Charlie999 · 23/08/2007 11:16

Morning

Hope LO is ok after jabs TA - I am dreading 2nd lot in a couple of weeks! Dummy is a good pice of advice tho - that's what I done with DD - jammed it in and held her against me so it couldn't come out

DD is very miserable again today.... but seems to be eating, weeing and pooing ok, no temperature.....so nothing to worry about? Dribbling a lot

BTW - got 5 grobags now - they are great - thanks for advice everyone

Oh blimey - really crying now.....

oh, and STILL bloody raining...what happened to my summer off work???

BadZelda · 23/08/2007 11:26

bumperlicious · 23/08/2007 11:29

I agree re weather summer off work and it is rubbish am fed up with it

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 11:55

Charlie is DD teething?
That's what DS was like, grizzly, miserable, drooling... his cheeks go a bit flushed and his temp goes up 1/2 a degree. He is really suffering with it today.

Jabs were not so good - well they were fine apart from him bleeding a lot one side, but I gave him a cuddle and he was ok, but then when I got him home he was in a right state. Had to hold him almost on my shoulder and ease the bottle in just to get him to calm down a bit. After an hour managed to get him asleep. Poor sod.

Charlie999 · 23/08/2007 12:01

possibly TA.....she isn't ill but just not right....perhaps her gums are sore - she is too young to hold anything tho so all those teething rings I have can't be used

Poor thing with his jabs - mine was just the same...calpol will help...and you should get plenty of sleep from him

andiem · 23/08/2007 12:02

not nice is it TA you feel really bad about the whole thing hope he feels better soon poor lo mine tomorrow

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 12:03

Yes he's good and asleep now! Finally I can get some things done! I have a lot to pack for tomorrow.

On that note...again, if anyone is bored on Sunday, am having a little do with burgers and booze, if anyone fancies coming along to wet the babies head please send me a msg and I'll give you the details!

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 12:04

Yes andiem, BIG needles on such little legs

loonylovegood · 23/08/2007 12:07

Morning/afternoon!!

My mum has kidnapped my dd! Wooohooo!!

TA I've sent you a facebook message! Sorry little S is sad, hope he feels better soon!

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 12:14

LOL Holly did you need a break?!

I want my mum to kidnap DS but she has something like 4 jobs so not a chance!

andiem · 23/08/2007 12:15

mind you I've spent my whole career looking after children in ICU so who am I to talk have done many horrid things in my time it just feels so different when it is your own

daisyandbabybootoo · 23/08/2007 12:17

sputnik..last time i ordered from figleaves i was able to send out e-vouchers for £5 to friends....can't remember who they went to, but i think it gives you a code....anyone??? i just looked on the site but i think you can only get it via the payment section....i have a code for £5 off if you spend £40, but not sure if its just for me or not. give it a try....D8A-4C2-CD2

also noticed that you can get boots advantage points (prob not much use to sputnik...but if anyone else has an advantage card) by logging in through this portal. wish i'd known, I've spent a fortune on bras from figleaves!!

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 12:17

No-one is horrid, everyone is just doing their jobs and it's for their own safety, just sad looking at big needles and little legs!

loonylovegood · 23/08/2007 12:23

Well...my mum wants me to tidy my house! It is a bit of a mess ! So she has taken dd so I can get on and do it.

I really must make some lunch and do some housework! If I come on here again in the next hour tell me to bugger off!!

sputnik · 23/08/2007 13:14

Well for those of you on the edge of your seats about whether I'd go for the ck bikini bottoms....
I got to figleaves and they're having a massive sale so I got 2 dead cheap, not ck but matching swimwear is so yesterday, right? There's some real bargains if anyone's interested. I got an expensive bra on sale too.

andiem · 23/08/2007 13:39

good on you sputnik for wearing a bikini I couldn't its all in ones for me

sputnik · 23/08/2007 14:56

Well, it probably won't be too attractive but nobody under the age of about 70 wears a one piece in this country. You see all sorts on the beach - it's quite reassuring in a way!

andiem · 23/08/2007 15:21

It must be nice for everyone to be so relaxed

trendaverter · 23/08/2007 15:54

where is everyone? probably out enjoying the sunshine, pppffhhhh

annobal · 23/08/2007 16:01

oh to have the weather for a bikini (or the body for that matter!)

andiem · 23/08/2007 16:03

could it rain anymore?

faylisa · 23/08/2007 16:13

It is STILL raining here too. Aggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm not sure how much more Cbeebies I can take
