its going ot be another one of those nights - hattie awake grizzling again (dh gone up this time!) she cant have any more calpol till 11pm!!!!!!!!!

JodieG1 · 23/08/2007 20:22

eah - what about nuerofen? You can give them closer together then, every 3 hours I think. Sorry you've had such a shitty day.

Rgee you definitely need a car seat, you'd never forgive yourself if anything happened. When we went to legoland we ended up going to bed when the kids did, about 8pm and that was late for them. Not much else we could do as dd was moaning that it was too light and wanted them all off lol.

Wilkie · 23/08/2007 20:23

EAH - yes you can space Calpol and Neurofen 2 hours apart

RGee - defo carseat. Not worth the risk and tis illegal

ooooo thanks jodie I bought a bottle of nurofen for our hols will get it out of holiday box, just hope its a tooth coming and not a bug

Lizzz - just heartbreaking
Wilkie - sorry it's all fallen through
KR - good to hear from you
eah - not a good day! Hope you get some joy with hotpoint
RGee - weddings - been to one this year and got another in a couple of weeks, and boy are they different post-kids! One of you's left with the baby while the other gets drunk, trying to sleep in a strange (usually noisy) hotel, coping without the familiar equipment. Even so, it's easier now than in 6 months time...

A bit peeved at dh - I was out last night at a peer support meeting, came home to find instead of finishing the meal I'd cooked the night before (which I'd not eaten so he'd have a meal to come home to; I went out on a bowl of cereal) he'd cooked himself a chinese. But he'd only made enough for 1, so it was all gone. I spend so much time trying to come up with ideas for suppers since he can never decide what he wants, shopping with 2 kids, and cooking enough for us all during the week while trying to pacify 2 kids who're bored with me cooking, plus now working. This is the first time he's cooked in ages, he's always had supper to come home to, and he only makes enough for himself so I still had to cook today. Why do men never think more than 5 minutes into the future?! Humph.

Oh crossed posts. Chuck us some of that chocolate, would you??

2Happy · 23/08/2007 20:38

Oh. Right. None for me then.

JodieG1 · 23/08/2007 20:46

2happy - Here have some of my choc

eah - I find that nurofen works better than calpol with mine, ds2 has been having it for teething pain and it's wonderful.
