Mywashing machine does the smelly thing sometimes daisy. Does it have a fluff filter? If it does empty it then do a hot wash, like sputnik said.

like biological powder?

i was going to buy some zoflora disinfectant and see if that helps. it gets really gummed up with soap scum and my whites come out with lots of scummy bits stuck to them. i assume it does it on the coloureds too but obviously less noticeable. Im angling for a new machine, but DH says not until it actually breaks down .......

......anyone know how to sabotage a washing machine?

TA it's great when they do that isn't it? it really makes my heart lift. DD has cooing conversations now and if I look away from her, she'll coo to get my attention. it's luverly

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/08/2007 12:12

holly, was that a subtle hint that i haven't posted that wee shorts set yet?

PO run is on my list for today or I'll be losing some child benefit!

loonylovegood · 08/08/2007 12:12

Try washing some disposable nappies daisy! You could "accidentally" put them in and I'm sure the gel stuff in them will bung the machine up! I'm sure you could then claim on the house insurance for a new one as it would be classed as accidental damage!

That's ok daisy. I had forgotten all about it!

Holly, Dreamweaver is the way to go, I use that too. You can make a bit of money these days by putting google ads on a website too, have been thinking of trying that myself as I don't have much work atm. It's realy important that people find your site too, so read up on search engine optimisation. It might be a good idea to register a domain straight away and put up a small page with your keywords on, as the search engines take a while to find you (your site has to be linked from somewhere - here would do)

sputnik · 08/08/2007 12:17

Something like napisan Daisy, that you add to normal powder

loonylovegood · 08/08/2007 12:21

Thanks sputnik. I have just found where dp put the programme and I'm trying to get it to work, fingers crossed! I was going to get the hosting and domain name from lycos, it seems quite cheap and they have a customer service number so I can ring them if anything goes wrong!

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/08/2007 12:34

...why don't i just shut up and go sit in the dunce's corner...

trendaverter · 08/08/2007 12:42

ok have to be quick as DS is fretting

Daisy - you can buy a thing in the supermarket in the househould products aisle for cleaning appliances like dishwashers and washing machines, can't remember what it's called but it's not v expensive - I think it's just made out of bicarb of soda anyway - I will find the name in a tick

Holly, 1&1 (www.1and1.co.uk?) do good deals on domains, £2.50pa for .co.uk and £10? for .com, also they are customisable for personal/business use so you can have your own cgi/databases etc. We have used them for years and never had any probs, they are very customisable.
Yes to echo sputnik do use google ads, also go to the google business areas and get your domain listed. You will need to do this on most of the search engines.
Google analytics can be useful too to help marketing.
ok gotta go

trendaverter · 08/08/2007 12:45

Daisy it's called Oust, just do an empty wash using that and brings it up as good as new

Or you can sabotage it for a new one

Seansgirl · 08/08/2007 12:52

Hi to everyone, have not had chance to catch as have a rare DD free day, and have masses to do as we go to Devon next week.

TA, I'm really pleased that Ds seems to getting some relief from the gaviscon it must be lovely to see him happier, hope it continues to get better. Back from Gps and he has given DS gaviscon. So now to mix it all up and hope he gets some relief.

New Thread HERE

annobal · 08/08/2007 13:00

Daisy - I have filled in your survey . Big DOH award goes to me today - I went to the post office and forgot to send nappies, sorry - I will get them sent this week. Also love your suggestion for the new title.

Hope everyone is well. We've had a rough few nights here - think it must be the 3 week growth spurt and DS3 is 'draining me of my power'. Am totally knackered which means that my milk supply goes down and he just wants to feed all the time. I've now got a homeopathic remedy which should work quickly. If anyone else needs to know what it is and I will look it up (and the recipe for the special tea).
