andiem · 23/07/2007 17:09

daisy have just ordered white and nude of that bra looks really good am wearing bravado at the moment but they are not good for giving a defined bust lovely and comfy though!

Holly has dh arrived home what happened?

Derlor have you booked skiing yet? I have just booked meribel with esprit for next easter and they only had one room left

loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 17:10

Fine, dp is really pissed off and has gone to the driving range to take out his anger on some golf balls! What I can take my anger out on I don't know. Maybe I'll spit in his dinner or put breast milk in his coffee!

Bumper I just got your email! Thanks, you girls are so lovely! I feel all warm and squishy inside, bless you all!!

you good make a breast milk cappucino like they did on the f word... mind you seems a waste of breast milk

andiem · 23/07/2007 17:12

sorry could

justbeme · 23/07/2007 17:15

Holly, so sorry to hear about your DP - Cant believe you let him go out to the driving range as well!! So you definately MUST go out on saturday.

Bumper - I cant remember where you live?? (re the water)

My nursing bras are from good old M & S - two for £25 (no dont tell me they're reduced in a sale!)

Had the MW visit again today -
Lucy has gained 9.5lbs in 13 days since birth - feeling quite pleased with myself!!
Filled out the complaint form re the MW and birth and Ive got to go back to see the Consultant on Thursday for him to "have a look" down there to see if I have got permanent damage. Looking forward to that - NOT.

justbeme · 23/07/2007 17:16

oz's i mean - now that would be a super growth spurt!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 23/07/2007 17:21

Aha...found you! I was just looking through active convos and saw the titlke and thought...haha that's funny, then saw the June 07. Cue one very confused Daisy. I didn't even realise we were nearing the end of the thread...must be the sleep deprivation.

holly, what is he going to do about the way he's been treated? Surely whatever it was he did couldn't have been that bad? I hope he gets something else soon.

Is anyone else really absent minded? I can be halfway through a conversation with someone and my mind just goes completely blank. I'm always forgetting things I've told DH or he's told me, and have nearly burned the house down several times!

DD has been interacting with her mobile thingy just now, trying to grab the toys. clever girl.

daisyandbabybootoo · 23/07/2007 17:23

LOL JBM at the mahoosive "double her weight in two weeks" baby.

loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 17:24

Lol jbm! 9.5lbs would have been impressive!

I bought those nursing bras jbm when pg with my dd, wore them for over a year then and they are still going strong! I also bought the ones bumper was on about in Mothercare, two for £13! Always on the look out for a bargain!

I hope dp gets back soon, I am not in a good mood and dd is throwing hissy fits every five mins or so. The last one was because I wouldn't let her tear up tissues and throw them all over the floor! Grrr...

loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 17:27

Are you sure it's not senile dementure daisy?!

Only joking! Yes I am being pretty forgetful atm, but then I always was. I keep forgetting to charge my phone and it keeps running out of juice on me, I also have, once or twice forgot I have a baby! I'll be playing with dd and suddenly ds will make a noise and I will think "Oh yeah, a baby"! Doh!

OP posts:
justbeme · 23/07/2007 17:30

Ive done that Holly - I was really engrossed in the property paper and Lucy made a squeak in her moses basket - my heart jumped and I looked towards the back door thinking a cat had wandered in - then I remembered...it was my new baby!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 23/07/2007 17:41

I walked into the bedroom when she was a couple of weeks old and DH has laid her on the bed. I had to do a double take as I'd forgotten all about her.

senile dementia indeed, you cheeky mare . I'm not that old!

loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 17:41

!!

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 17:42

Oops, spelt dementia wrong!

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 23/07/2007 18:19

That'll be the senile dementia then holly

Oooh I'm going to see In the Night Garden for the first time tonight. I'm very excited!

I've got DS watching CBeebies, it's causing much less aggression in him that Jetix etc, and he seems fascinated by it all. I couldn't take another episode of The Transformers today.

hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow and we can get out to the park.

loonylovegood · 23/07/2007 18:22

Hope you enjoy ITNG daisy, 'tis fab! DD loves it!

I want my dp to come home! I haven't even started dinner yet, William screams every time I put him down!

OP posts:
derlor · 23/07/2007 19:16

daisy thank you for my voucher email xx
also missy - NEVER be about your fabulous knowledge - i wish i knew so much about things as you (would certainly help me at work if i had your knowledge LOL )
Foxy did you get your galaxy today?
Bumper - you still OK? not being rescued by a fireman on a wee boat i hope!!!
TA you sound like you're struggling a bit hun, is there anyone (apart from your mum) near you for you to lean on??

bumperlicious · 23/07/2007 19:24

chuh! now dh is jobless he should be doing all the househld chores holly, not down the frikkin golf course!

bumperlicious · 23/07/2007 19:43

we are fine derlor, but offcially without water (how ironic, water water everywhere and not a drop to drink!) Have a bit in the bath but it now has flies and spiders floating in it - eww! We are going to go to my mum's tomrrow, if I can get there, though it's the lesser of two evils and will be a real squeeze! She is excited to have dd to stay (that's my dd, not me she is excited about!). Poor DH still has to work though so is stuck here

Hope everyone else is ok. Foxy, did your day get better.

JBM I didn't say where I was but suffice to say I am in the flood hit area! If I told you anymore I would have to kill you!

derlor · 23/07/2007 19:47

yuk to the flies and spiders - couldn't you just sieve them out!!!!!
well my delightful LO vomited on my neck today then poo'd out her nappy down her own legs and onto MY trousers - nice!! DH almost PHSL!

bumperlicious · 23/07/2007 19:52

How funny if he had PHSL laughing, wouldn't have made him much better than DD!

derlor · 23/07/2007 19:54

LOL bumper
will you be able to still come on here if you are at your mum's?
how's the feeding going with you these days?

bumperlicious · 23/07/2007 19:58

Hopefully yes. Feeding is mostly good. Still an occasional hiccup, usually worse when I'm tired, DD is tired and if she is windy. Feeling much more positive about it though, thanks for asking. Right, just popping off to have some apple pie and ice cream!

derlor · 23/07/2007 20:13

oooohohhhohoho apple pie and ice cream
hellloooooooo where is everyone?????
