Hi trace he is 7 and knows tht waking lo would result in instant death after he did that a couple of times so now he wakes me

trendaverter · 08/08/2007 08:54

Hi Trace sorry to hear about row and tiredness. Tiredness is the worst, everything seems so much worse when you're tired!
Hopefully the row only a temporary glitch!

He is still upset even with the Gaviscon, he now feeds ok but after a feed he is very unsettled and in pain and squirmy for about 30 minutes. We have to hold him upright (and there is usually some vom) but after that he settles a bit and we can even play with him a bit (big milestone). I even got a chuckle out of him earlier. So not perfect but MUCH better.

trace2 · 08/08/2007 08:54

lol

trace2 · 08/08/2007 08:56

give a week or so or even asked to be refered to a pead he may need a little stronger stuff as the gaviscon as made a little diffrence it shows it helps a little

trendaverter · 08/08/2007 08:58

DR said to come back in a week if no improvement and he'd get referred to a paed...so at least she is being helpful

loonylovegood · 08/08/2007 09:00

Does anyone elses boobs feel like they are bruised inside? Mine do, I'm not surprised really, they have taken a battering over the past few days!

dd is on domperidone and ranitidine, now but started on gaviscon, we are now finding its helped reflux epoisodes, but now it looks like she now having problems with milk as the reflux covered this problem but going to gp today (dount hell do anything as shes under peads at hospital but we go back 23 august) i know i go on about chloe thats why i didnt want to post at first but now i know i can help a few by telling you all about reflux.

we had worrys since 20 weeks scan we was told out dd could have downs or heart trouble a lot more major then shes got so luckley we got away with a lot, the reflux is nothing to do with the two cord vessel but the kidney reflux is that just means shes on low anibotics for long term and she getting infrections easy

Jamantha · 08/08/2007 10:04

Having worried and moaned for ages that DD won't sleep during the day, I'm now worried that she's been in her basket and totally quiet for just over half an hour. I guess there's no pleasing some people?!

I've had a chance to have a lie down and rest at least, even if it's too early in the day for me to actually sleep. Helps make up for an hour sat feeding and then rocking her back to sleep in the middle of night.

loonylovegood · 08/08/2007 10:36

That's good jamantha! Relax and rest, do not do housework!

Dd just asked to watch Nemo! Yes! Back of the net! At least it is remotely amusing and interesting, unlike cbeebies AKA the Justin fucking Fletcher channel!

DS has started trying to laugh, it's very sweet

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/08/2007 12:01

has everyone gone?

welcome JU .......i do hope bumper hasn't scared you off, our sense of humour can be a bit warped and we've been chatting for so long that we know when someone is just being cheeky...come back and talk to us, pleeeeeese

Jamantha, it's prob after effects from jabs. babyboo slept from 9:30 till 3:00, then 4:00 till....wait for it......10:30 . I woke at 9:45 in a blind panic and had to poke her as her breathing was so shallow. Of course she's now being very fretful and has puked twice since she woke

trace, its great to see you back on here and chatting. we've all been worried for chloe and you. sorry things are tense between you and dh, but it must be very stressful having a poorly LO and i imagine would test even the strongest relationship. try to be kind to yourselves, but feel free to moan/vent/rant/sob on here any time you like. we've all done it and no doubt will do so again.

TA...glad DS had a better night, it will get better for you too once he's settled down and you're used to him being settled.

I was supposed to be off up to scotland today, but thought it would be unfair of dd after her jabs to be cooped in the car. so am having a marathon tidy up/laundry session and will leave tomorrow morning after her 5am feed!

does anyone have any tips for getting rid of foul smell in washing machine? i've just had to re-do a load of washing as it sat in the machine all night and stinks of stagnant water
