LOL Bumper, we're all hairy truckers.

Andie, you might be the oldest but I bet I LOOK the oldest.

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 18:28

You may be the oldest in age terms but I am 26 going on 46! I listen to radio 2, don't go clubbing, like early nights and my ideal outing involves going out for tea and cake!

annobal · 30/07/2007 18:30

Well, DH and I have National Trust membership

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 18:35

LOL annobal!

trendaverter · 30/07/2007 18:45

I can do pretty much any day really - so is it the 16th, 23rd or 29th?

annobal · 30/07/2007 18:53

16th and 29th - come along to both if you can make it!

andiem · 30/07/2007 18:56

me I listen to radio 4 what does that say

trendaverter · 30/07/2007 19:21

thanks annobal!

29th might be harder for me as I am in essex that weekend but it's still a maybe.

Are we sorting out times etc nearer the date?

I spent waaayyyy too much at bluewater, oops, but it was monsoon sale! I had to do it

annobal · 30/07/2007 19:26

Yeah - lets do times closer. Holly, can you can do the later date?

TA, it has to be done

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 19:29

Hiya

PMSL at you lot with your ages - been there and done that a few days ago

Bet I'm the fattest........and shortest

I don't go clubbing, listen to Radio Kent or FiveLive, don't really drink any more and a night out for me is pizza hut and the pictures

Annobal Poor Charlie - hope the physio sorts it out for him

Scan next Wednesday for me - just got to sort out someone to look after DD!

Off for BBQ - later x

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 19:42

I'll battle you for the shortest - I'm 5'2 (actually I think daisy is the same)

As long as we are not battling for who's baby is the loudest!

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 19:59

Told you I'd win - I'm 5ft ....

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 20:01

Wouldn't win the loudest baby I have to say...my LO is pretty good like that...when I was in hospital, I shared a ward with the loudest baby in the world (not mine)

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 20:41

Ok, you win!

When I was in hospital the babies were fine - it was the two mother's earth trembling snoring that kept me awake!

foxybrown · 30/07/2007 21:05

Hi y'all! How have your days been?

I am good for 16th and 29th, and would be happy to do both or either. Am very excited to meet everyone.

We went out en masse today for the first time - in our new bus! All 6 of us. Whoa! We are the Waltons

annobal · 30/07/2007 21:08

PMSL - can't really compete on either one of those however did have a very loud lady opposite me on the ward - she insisted on whistling to her baby ALL NIGHT!!!

Anyone else watching Dirt? Courtney Cox's mother has had a REALLY BAD face lift!

foxybrown · 30/07/2007 21:08

I think I need to go to bed.

Night all xx

annobal · 30/07/2007 21:11

Foxy, I'm good for both too!

We did the en masse thing on Saturday (only 5 though) just to prove that we could do it. Where did you go? We used our National Trust membership and when to Standon (told you I was old - not only do I have nat trust membership, I use it!!)

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 21:25

I've been recording dirt on my BT vision. It's pretty weird isn't it? Very dark.

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 21:33

Someone on the breastfeeding thread just offered to do my washing for me! I love this place!

vole3 · 30/07/2007 23:13

Hello all! Bumperlicious invited me to join you.
Ds will be 6 weeks tomorrow. Where has the time gone? I finally caught up tonight with a friend who rang at a bad time about 4 weeks ago and I uttered those fatal words 'will call you later'. OK, so I didn't specify when later was, but I still feel a little shitty leaving it so long. She's a mum to dd aged 5 (going on 35) and ds 19 months, so knows what it's like.
Anyhow, hope to get to know you all a bit over the next few weeks.

NattyThomasandEllen · 31/07/2007 08:09

morning all.
goodness things have really picked up in here since i was last on!
ellen smile laughs and sleeps through now
i love this age, its so easy to please them lol!
glad to see most of you are doing well, sorry to hear about trace2 tho
took kiddies to chesington yesterday (on my own i must be insane) thomas kept calling all the monkeys "daddy"
missed u all last few weeks, my internet is playing me up sumin cronic.
im going out to hunt down a stair gate for my impossibly narrow stairwell.. 1cm under most gates so annoying i have to get a pressure on as we have damp problems and walls to crumbly for wall mounted.. the hunt begins to find one that will go down to 71cm...

speak to you all soon

trendaverter · 31/07/2007 08:31

Morning all, bummer, am going home today so no more mum to pick up the pieces! I will have to go mental on my own again!

Ahh well, will be nice to go home though. DH no doubt will have left the fridge empty and the house a shit tip, yay!

bumperlicious · 31/07/2007 09:03

Morning all,

Hi Natty, good to hear from you.

Glad you found us Vole! Don't be put off by the fact that we all seem to know each other, some of us have been chatting since we got pg, but other people have joined us, and it's just nice to know other people are going through the same thing. We are trying to arrange a meet up too if you are in the London area, or can get there anyway.

TA, you'll be fine, in fact I bet you'll enjoy the peace and freedom of being on your own again. I enjoyed being at my mum's but I did feel like she might be judging me all the time, if I wasn't constantly giving DD attention, or comment on the feeding. You'll be brill, and we are here for when you are not feeling it!

Am knackered today. DD woke up at 2.30 last night which is unusual for her, fed for an hour, back to sleep at 3.30 and awake again at 6.30 to feed, hasn't slept since Going to try and drag myself to breastfeeding group. Feel v skanky though, hair needs washing but don't have time to faff around with boiling water and jugs with DD awake. Probably really smell too! As haven't showered since saturday...ewww!

NattyThomasandEllen · 31/07/2007 09:14

know what u mean about showering.. i had to have one at 2am as that was the only time i got to myself.
we trained tom into his toddler bed last night, so he didnt go down till later than usual, but he did sleep till 7am and was most impressed with being able to come into my room this morning and bash me on the head with his empty bottle

meetup? hell yeah sounds like a great idea let me know!!
