At least you can flush it Holly [smelly emoticon]]!

foxybrown · 29/07/2007 22:24

Bumper, as you are still here, I was about to respond to your other thread, but got scared (am intimidated by bf/weaning threads!! LOL). My lo is feeding frequently, so I am starting her off on the breast she last fed on. Otherwise I think she is snacking on foremilk, rather than filling up on hindmilk.

NattyThomasandEllen · 30/07/2007 01:08

hullo ladies.. gosh much to catch up on.. will read and post tomorrow

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 07:12

hi nt&e! thanks btw foxy, good plan!

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 08:19

Morning All

Hope you are all well.

Hope you are doing ok without running water Bumper - can't be fun! You say your DD is weeing over all her clothes - what nappies are you using? I put a clean nappy on DD last night at 9.30pm and changed her at 7.30am this morning, and it weighed a ton cos of so much wee but no leakage. (I use Huggies size 1 btw)

TA Have a good day at Bluewater - Next have still got plenty of kids stuff in the sale and John Lewis has some some nice bits in the sales as well. I love Bluewater! and Lakeside!

JBM - sounds horrible, having to have physio and no feeling "down there". My CS scar is still numb - even though it itches - which is really odd as when I stratch it, I don't get any relief IYKWIM

LOL Holly - haven't got pissed like that for many years - since the time I had shredded wheat for brekkie the next day and when I was sick, had all the bits stuck around my mouth for hours . Must be my age.....

Well off to the docs again for more blood today. Had 2 small cups of tea yesterday and that was it. Even DH felt guilty drinking in front of me. Huge salty gammon steak for dinner - according to the label contained 143% of my daily allowance - bleugh!

Oh well - have a good day everyone - off to visit a RL fiends new 1 week old baby today

another huge long post!

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 08:20

oops - friend obviously

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 10:05

Charlie, I know what you mean about the scar. I had an accident when I was a teenager and have a scar on my leg, and the whole area around the scar is numb, but in a weird way, like it's numb under the surface, it sometimes itches and scratching it makes no difference either!

foxybrown · 30/07/2007 10:49

PMSL at the shredded wheat Charlie! Euuurrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh!

foxybrown · 30/07/2007 11:36

Charlie - did you mention a voice activated Winnie the Pooh thingy? Can you tell me where you bought it please? I think I need something for DD. Although she is fine at night, during the day she's not good at sleeping in her own bed. Or sleeping at all it seems.

As she's in her chair yelling at me right now when she should be sleeping!

annobal · 30/07/2007 11:52

Good work Holly hope you are feeling better today.

Bumper, is there another day or week that suits?

annobal · 30/07/2007 11:55

oh - charlie has put on a pound in a week - no wonder my norks are so sore!

Right - i'm off to catch up...

annobal · 30/07/2007 12:03

We've got this one foxy. not sure if it's the same though...

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 13:27

Annobal I do the monday or tuesday, or any day the week after. What I will try and do if I do come is go to my mum's the day before, and come and meet you guys the next day, and go back home the same day. I really hope I can make it, but you guys go with the majority. DH's birthday is on the Thursday and he has Friday off.

Got our six week check this afternoon. Anyone know what I should expect?

annobal · 30/07/2007 15:37

Hey Bumper, I can do any time the week after, should we say the 29th (the 27th is a bank holiday)? Is there anyone who couldn't make either 16th or 29th?

andiem · 30/07/2007 15:39

I can do 29th hope everyone ok today been out and about as usual

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 15:40

Yep, I can do the 29th! Yay, hope everyone else can!

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 16:09

Just FYI some of us have been emailing about various things, but with people coming and going not everyone can be contacted. If anyone hasn't shared their email but wants to you can either post it here or email me at bumperlicious (dot) mn @ hotmail (dot) co (dot) uk and I will past you email on to the others. it's just nice sometimes if you want to share something without broadcasting it to the whole world!

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 16:14

Afternoon

Foxy - I have the same one as Annobal - mind you it is £14.99 in Argos at the mo and I got mine from E-bay for £10 incl P&P

wow Annobal - 1lb in a week! Can't be bad. My LO is nearly 9 weeks and is still in newborn size clothes - if she doesn't hurry up and grow a bit she won't be able to wear any of the summer clothes people bought her (all 0-3s) . I've already changed what I can for 9-12 month size for next summer...really don't want them to go to waste...

29th should be OK for me...

No-one seemed capable of giving me any results at the docs - so off to ring the PCT to see if I can change doctorsI was told onFriday how serious it was and the nurse this morning clearly had lunch on her mind rather than helping me. Doctor has not asked me to go back - or offered me different ADs - sick of all this now . But the hosp has been in touch and have a scan next week - transabdominal pelvic scan and transvaginal - not sure about that one!

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 16:20

Bumper - have e-mailed you

andiem · 30/07/2007 16:51

Charlie don't worry too much about the transvaginal scan I've had IVF and all the scans are done that way I must have had about 20 they don't hurt and only a little bit goes in sorry tmi

my e mail is andrea (dot) cockett(at)kcl(dot)ac (dot) uk

yay looks like the 29th is on

Charlie999 · 30/07/2007 17:07

Bumper - are you going to do some sort of distribution list and circulate it?

Thanks Andiem - you'd think after having a baby, nothing would bother me!!

annobal · 30/07/2007 17:23

Yay, looks like 29th is on!

Charlie, what a pain - sorry they aren't being more helpful. When are your scans?

little charlie has a twisted muscle in his neck we're going to the physio on wed.

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 18:09

Andiem and charlie, you have mail!

Annobal for poor Charlie, how did he manage that? I always worry about DD when I am feeding her as sometimes I can feel her neck click as I latch her on.

bumperlicious · 30/07/2007 18:15

Oooh, won't it be weird to meet up?! I wonder if we are at all how we imagined each other?

andiem · 30/07/2007 18:16

I'm the oldest so am a bit worried
