Thanks guys, we moved from Huddersfield to Fareham, for my hubby's and my job's - though i got up the duff two months after starting! Had hyperemesis (sickness) all through the preganancy, but it didn't do George any harm, he is a little star and well worth it!

juliewoolie · 22/08/2007 15:18

Big Fat NEGATIVE

phew thank god for that I know I want another but that would have all been a bit too close

hi mum2g welcome to the mad house

So has anyone else any idea why I would be having weird spotting is it my body trying to have a period?

Do feel a little disappointed had a chat with DP and we are not going to actively try but am not going to get the coil fitted so if it does happen we are cool with it.

SKYTVADDICT · 22/08/2007 15:36

Good news JW!

and Welcome MumtoG

Have done all my ironing and watched a film and C still not back. Sitting twiddling thumbs now (NOT!).

Would like to go and have a bath but they might turn up with him soon as I think he should be due his next feed at about 4 and they only had one bottle.

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 15:37

Good news the JW? Or are you a teensy bit dissapointed? Could still be positive, might be too early to tell

Mum2G im in Gosport!!!! So hooray we must be less than 20 mins from each other When im back from visiting family next week and the kids are safely back in school we have to meet! I promise to only bring a couple at a time. As you can see if you look at my profile i have a few, although mostly thery are just borrowed from SOH and TYG occasionally

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 15:39

The spotting is probably just a period but a light one, dont worry. Im sure it will be back soon or not if you are indeed up the duff already!!

Sky lie down quick, enjoy it for what may be the last precious few moments

juliewoolie · 22/08/2007 15:51

my sis (midwife) said to re test in a couple of weeks just to make sure. Did think it was prob a false alarm as am still EBF.

Pebblemum · 22/08/2007 15:54

Welcome Mum2G. I live in Portsmouth so not too far from you either.

Im still having problems with uploading pics to ebay, have tried everything and its definately not a problem with their site, MIL managed to do it so why cant I? i also cant find any problems my end, was able to upload pics to my MN profile no problems (deleted them again though as they were of Dh being stupid)Tried using the same pics for ebay and again they said it was the wrong file type. My front room is piled high with things i wanted to list today, ive not done any housework been trying to sort it out all day and even sent dh off on his bike (car being fixed)in the rain to get chips for lunch so i didnt have to stop what i was doing. Am so frustrated I could scream!!!!!!

On a happier note, Alana is 3 months old today and still an abslolute angel, sleeping at least 12hrs a night and always smiling Boys arent being too bad today either, both sat in their room, ds1 playing his NDS and ds2 has made a tent on the bottom bunk and been playing in it all afternoon

Pebblemum · 22/08/2007 15:59

Wow i just found a new Due in May 2008 thread, only 1 person on there so far. Had to pop on to send my congrats It hard to beleive that was us a year ago

juliewoolie · 22/08/2007 16:01

Pebble could it be that the files are too large??

Have been on another thread today about moving LO's from moses basket to cot. Was going to wait till we got back from holiday with A but think I might have a bash at it tonight. Have you all done it already or are some still in MB like A.

Lupins71 · 22/08/2007 16:10

AM Arlen has anything from 5-7 oz

SM Arlen has had his 2nd jabs and 3rd are next week (i think!!)

Abbey glad all went well with the scan

MUM2G Welcome to our humble thread, congrats on your may baby

Julie phew - what a relief for you!!

There should be a south coast meet up - I can easily get the train to portsmouth!! Would prefer that than going to london, that place scares me!!

think the interview went ok, they said they have had an overwhelming response from the ad and should be done phoning and seeing everyone by the end of next week - tbh i think i may get bored with it, its only answering the phone, making appts anwsering enquiries and doing tea for clients - might get a weeeeny bit dull, we shall see, funny thing tho dd said mummy you do look grown up she has never seen me in a suit lol

Have just made dp an no KK virgin, he was quite impressed, latte and raspberry donut, i had mu usual custard with choc and dd had sprinkles ring yummmmmmyyyy

On a positive note, dp has been feeling happy last few days, yipeeeee, must say it has been really nice to see him a bit more positive

Right am off to the shops we are out of houmous arghhhhhhhhhhh, why dont they sell it in gallon tubs!!

Lupins71 · 22/08/2007 16:13

Julie we moved A week before last as he was in a crib and his arms were sticking out the sides lol, thought it would be in it longer as dd slept with her arms up and he has plenty of room lengthways just not sideways

anneme · 22/08/2007 16:21

Julie - wow what a scary thought!!! (pregnant not moving from M basket!) Ihave to say that before Samuel arrived I was v definite that this was it - I have always said I want 2 children and that is it. I think i have changed my mind though......

Re moving from m basket - I moved Samuel to a crib when he was about 8 wks - don't think he was that comfy in our rather old moses basket - don't think it supported him enough. Not sure when he will move into cot - probably another month or so - it is a v large cot and I worry he will feel swamped. Having said that, the only reason I have such a choice of places tosleep is because I was lent them all otherwise he woudl be in the cot already..

RE May 08 thread - do you realise that we were all conceiving this time last year!?!?! Weird (and slightly disconcerting thought)

MKG · 22/08/2007 16:37

Hey all I go away for a little bit and all the excitement happens.

MrsJB, I hope your friend is doing well and is getting a lot of support.

Welcome to all the newbies.

Julie,

I am bfing Cruz and I have gotten light bleeds off an on. I've written it off to hormone fluctuations.

We are good here. My house is a wreck, but other than that we are good.

Mum2G · 22/08/2007 16:41

LG&T you are on! My DH and I went to Gosport for some ante natal classes, as the local ones were full by the time we moved here. A south coast meet up sounds good! I don't drive but have taken to catching the train and then going all 'helpless female' at the bottom of the train station steps that am inevitably faced with! Attempting the bus with pram will be my next mission!

George had just started sleeping 7 til 7 but then he had his second set of jabs and since then it has all gone to pot.

He has just outgrown his moses basket too, w he used to sleep in that during the day and his natures nest at night, he now goes in his nest for all his sleeps, but he will probably have outgrown that too by christmas. He is such a nosey so and so that the only way i can get him down for daytime naps is by drawing the blind in his room, swaddling him and shushing him!

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 16:51

Oh gawd i have only just remembered to put the pork in the oven, tea will be late tonight. Have been so preoccupied with JW

Beau went in to his cot a couple of weeks ago, much better. He has a french cradle downstairs too though and sleeps in that during the day.

My ebay stuff is going crazy! I have 12 watchers on the mutsy board, 3 on the car seat and 7 on the pram!! It all finishes by 730 so im presuming they will all bid at the last minute? Hope so

Excellent meetup is on then Super, i drive a hundred seater tank so can pick you and Pebble up one day. I have wine for Pebble form MRSJB so we must do it as soon as

Right am off to pack some more, have doen 2 boys. Only another 4 children to go.....

InTheseShoes · 22/08/2007 17:06

Welcome SuperMonkey and Mum2G!
Hello all! Been to Devon for a week and had a lovely time, T was a dream, and still is, sleeping through the night and very smiley indeed.

SuperMonkey · 22/08/2007 17:31

Can I just check - those of you who say your dc are sleeping through - do you literally mean not waking at all in 12 hours? We can sometimes manage 7pm to 6am with an 11pm feed, he usually wakes at around 4am too though. I'm not complaining, just interested.

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 17:50

Beau is much the same Super, he crashes about 8ish and gets a feed when i go to bed, sometimes wakes at 3 sometimes 6, no pattern really.

I have packed the rest of them up and done some ironing, tea still not ready and Hugo falling asleep on the couch, nooooooooooooo!

juliewoolie · 22/08/2007 17:54

oops sorry about the pork lg&t

A does not sleep through goes down at 8 then wakes at 2 - 3 ish then normally 6 - 7 ish for feeds.

Mum2G · 22/08/2007 18:12

Super, George goes down at 7 and then usually wakes around 4 for a feed then sleeps til 6-7, cept for last night when he woke nearly every two hours from 2am for a feed, must be having a growth spurt! Only slept from 7 til 7 for about two or three weeks prior to his second jabs - just when they lull you into a false sense of security!

SuperMonkey · 22/08/2007 19:36

That's OK then - looks like we're on track. Hey, isn't it useful to have lots of people with babies of the same age

Lupins71 · 22/08/2007 19:39

Ok so when shall we do this meet up - bear in mind that i dont drive so will need to be reasonably accesable by public transport - altho i am a whizz on the train and bus with the pram lol!! would be easier to do it while tho holidays are still on, only days i cant do are friday this week, tuesday next week and monday the 3rd/ tues 4th apart from that IM FREE!!

LGT hope the dinner isnt tooo late, that bloomin woman still hasnt paid for the micralite, have ebded the auction as she said she wanted it grrrr!!

Off tp take advantage of this half price listing

Has anyone else been watching heros?

SuperMonkey · 22/08/2007 19:40

Watched it all on the SciFi channel.
