AM - a year ago tomorrow - thats scary! I hope Jessinwa got settled in Oz.

Welcome Supermonkey.

Sorry for your bad news MrsJB. Positive vibes for your friend.

Still having broken nights here - need some reassurance that its just a growth spurt so I can tell all those well meaning relatives who weaned at 16 weeks that he doesn't need it yet. Might start a thread.

Also just realised we have no routine whatsoever and we could do with one before 6 September when girls go back to school. Its just so much easier to demand feed and get a few lie ins when they are not!

C going to DPs sister for a few hours today (with last frozen bottle of ebm!) and as DDs are with their Dad on hols I will have a bit of time to myself. I am sooooo excited. Was going to go to bed and do some catching up but next door are having new windows fitted. Will veg out on sofa watching films instead I think.

SKYTVADDICT · 22/08/2007 09:48

jw - just a thought on the photos - mine are usually at the bottom on the page and can't be seen unless I scroll down.

aprilmeadow · 22/08/2007 10:02

Woohoo thats great MrsJB - will you be able to get Maddie out of it?

Question for all you that are doing the formula thing....... How much are your bubbas taking at each feed? I am trying to build up a store of my milk for dh to use when i go to the Sanctuary next Thursday, and have no idea how much i will need. I think i have about 10oz in the freezer so far. Think she will need to be fed maybe 3-4 times. I need to leave home at 8.30am so will feed her beforehand. She then normally feeds an hour later, so say 9.30, 12.30, 3.30 and 5ish. Am guessing that i might need about 20oz in total??

SKYTVADDICT · 22/08/2007 10:07

AM - not doing ff but Callum guzzles a 7oz bottle of ebm at each feed that I'm not feeding him if that helps.

aprilmeadow · 22/08/2007 10:39

oh my god, that means i need another 18oz!! hmmm how likely, better get pumping

SuperMonkey · 22/08/2007 10:57

Seth was born 13 May, 7lb 15oz, it all happened a bit too quickly so it's a bit of a blur! Completely unintentional natural birth, almost a home birth!

Has everyone elses dc had their second set of jabs by now? Our health authority is having 'system problems' which means I still don't have an appointment date for him and they can't tell me when it will be (although not before 11 Sept at the earliest). I'm a little peeved as he will 4 months by then and due the third set. Everyone keeps telling me that a delay isn't a problem, but they must be scheduled this way for a reason.

AbbyLou · 22/08/2007 11:09

Welcome Supermonkey, nice to see another face joining us. I can't believe it's a year since our antenatal thread started. How time flies!
Mrs JB so sorry to hear about your friend and sending her lots of positiveness. Hopefully seeing M in her car will cheer you up, I bet she'll be so excited.
JW, another waiting for news here. Oh my god, I can't imagine being pregnant again now. We had already said two is enough before R was born but she has been so easy I feel kind of sad at the thought of no more.
Well all went well with Ruby's scan yesterday. The consultant said her hip looks like a perfectly normal joint and is developing nicely so we're very relieved.
C and i have just cooked brownies as we have some friends coming over this afternoon with theri lo. It was relatively painless and they seem to be ok.

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 11:15

See baking is easy, i keep telling you all.....

Super dont worry about the jabs, Beau is still only on his first set and he is 12 weeks. It makes no difference. His birth sounds great! Bit like my #5's, 40 min labour, not however like #6.....nuff said.

Pebblemum · 22/08/2007 11:33

Supermonkey, i was worried about Alanas second jabs hadnt heard anything from dr's. Phoned them up just now and was told she should have been have been due them last week they now cant fit her in unil 5th Sept They didnt seem too worried.

JW just skipped through the posts yesterday and must have missed yours, how could i miss that Dont keep us in suspense too long

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 11:47
Mrsjaffabiffa · 22/08/2007 12:28

Maddie LOVES the car, she was very excited, pulled the throw off of it and put her hand to her mouth in shock. You are right AM, I havent got her out of it yet.

AbbyLou · 22/08/2007 14:52

Welcome MumtoG and congratulations on the birth of George. It gets very chatty on here and sometimes takes ages to read the posts if you haven't been on for a while. Whereabouts do you live?

largeginandtonic · 22/08/2007 14:55

Welcome Mum2G, how is it going? Where are you?
