wil it was mostly passive aggressive throwing himself round the bed and huffing. But he tried to shake me awake as I must have been asleep and hadn't heard the noise she was making Hmm when I pointed out that I was awake and Evie and I had both been awake listening to him snore since we all came to bed he tried to make out like clearly I was sleeping else I'd have got her up because she was 'screaming' when in fact she was grubbing round and making occasional cries of frustration because she was struggling to soothe and go to sleep because he'd woken her up with a particularly loud bout of snoring... He then went onto "sorry I can't do anything for her, I don't have tits" well mrBoo the reason you can't do anything for her is you don't bloody try, she doesn't need milk, she's been feeding for 2 hours, she needs sleep, and even if she did need milk, there's some in the fridge because I've been expressing, so actually if you had the inclination you could provide her with milk...

She did eventually go to sleep at about 3am and woke up for another feed at 5:30. Dsis is a star, she's stayed here all morning as she's still off uni for easter so she watched Mini destroy downstairs in wide eyed horror front of cbeebies until 8:30 so I was able to get a bit more sleep in the bed with micro once DH had crawled out of bed muttering and spuffling about his dreadful night sleep

FurryScoob · 08/04/2015 13:33

Flowers & Brew boo I feel your pain, Mrfurry snored so loud last night miniscoobs monitor picked it up so I had him snoring in rl next to me & the monitor playing his snoring the other side Angry I tried to wake him up but apparently it wasn't him snoring! AngryAngryAngry

JuniDD · 08/04/2015 14:34

Aw, this is why I've kicked MrJ out of the room! Plus he's already so tired in his own room, he'd die if he was in with us.

He sleeps a lot...he always has. But having discussed it (politely so far) he has told me that he HATES feeling tired and must therefore sleep off any sensations that may be tiredness, any stress/sadness/problem can be solved with sleep. On Sunday he napped because apparently he didn't have anything else to do. Hmm.

Anyway. Just been for a HUGE walk in the sun round the harbour and I am now knackered and BabyJ won't have a decent feed. Perhaps in anticipation of another crazy night and lots of feeding then? Shock

Ah I would sympathise ladies but I snore worse than MrWil.

We have achieved a poo in the toilet today! (Mini, not me). Gx it continues. I can't put up with any more pants full of poo. Toilet training is not for the faint-hearted.

Pisghetti · 08/04/2015 14:49

FFS I was trying to catch up, took my eye off the boob and now both of us are covered in milk Hmm will try again later.....

TheBooMonster · 08/04/2015 16:46

hah pis buying slings on Facebook and reading AIBU are the only things keeping me awake sane at the moment, I have accepted this mean I will perpetually smell of old milk as a result of micro getting boredom the boob just long enough to trick me into thinking she might sleep.

juni we're the opposite and that's half the problem I could sleep for Britain, and I'm really not a nice person when I'm sleep deprived, so DH getting all this sleep that he doesn't need as much as I do what the hell happened to the man who would go to bed at 1am and bounce out of bed at 6am on the dot for tea and weetabix?! fills me with irrational rage, him not being remotely understanding about it makes me want to bludgeon him to death and feed him to the neighbours dog who is also keeping me awake

you never know, that fresh air might be just what you need to knock her for six, she might sleep like a dream...

TheBooMonster · 08/04/2015 16:48

score on the toilet poo wil!!

TheBooMonster · 08/04/2015 18:12

worst time ever for a 2 year old to get hold of an abandoned glass of coke... 1 hour before bedtime... micro is not impressed at the high screeching that mini is currently doing whilst running round the house pretending to be an aeroplane....

Minion · 08/04/2015 18:49

You know when you're rocking to put them to sleep then a bastard car screeches past, then you look to see if it woke them and they're eyes are open but they're sleeping...
Yeah, that.
Freaky!

Pisghetti · 08/04/2015 19:03

Ok think I'm all caught up and cleaned up

I'm a total noob at the sling talk! I've just bought a Moby stretchy wrap on ebay. I was hoping it'd get posted Tuesday but the seller emailed to say she wouldn't be able to post until Thursday. Noticed she's in cardiff though so might offer to pick it up instead... My friend is a bit of a ring sling expert. She demonstrated one to me the other day but I didn't get it at all so I'll have to ask her to do it again. Her LO looked pretty chilled in it though!

I have a horrible suspicion MiniPis might have oral thrush. She's been fussing at the boob for the last day or two, screams a lot when she's not attached and today I've noticed her tongue has a thin white coating and she's started getting white patches on her lips too. However she's just had a great feed and passed out without any fussing so I'm wondering if I'm being a hypochondriac and the white patches are just her bringing up little bits of milk?

Had my final midwife visit today. Bit sad..... But she went on about contraception quite a bit suggesting I consider getting the depo. I'm not sure I want to - I was doing ok on cerazette before. Plus I'm a little nervous of hormonal contraception anyway as DS was considered 'failing to thrive' after not putting on weight after six weeks which coincided with me going on the mini pill. Might have just been coincidence of course but at least I can just stop taking the pill but if the depo has any untoward effects I'm a bit stuck with it. I need to do something anyway - we've DTD twice and not been at all careful which is a bit daft really.

Pisghetti · 08/04/2015 19:06

Haha Min DS piped up the other day "Maaaam, the baby is doing her Undertaker impression again!" Obscure WWE reference there. Her REM with open eyes is totally freaky.

WilHarlot · 08/04/2015 19:08

I really don't know that Min Grin . Not sure I've witnessed open eyed sleeping. I did however have one who was in the deepest sleep ever. Until I put her down obviously when she was then wide awake.

Bad luck Boo. We're using haribo for toilet bribes so I fear we may end up in the same situation.

RPopz · 08/04/2015 19:24

Haha bad times Boo! Hope she crashes out soon!

Oh yeah, Minipopz does that one too Min... I'm usually just terrified he's woken up tbf!

Totally got the wrestling reference Pis which is a testament to what a child geek my husband is.... Angry I've heard good things about Mobys and they always look nice in pics. Hope it's not thrush x

I'm currently debating between Dino/ Zooology/ Giraffe Love Connecta Wink

RPopz · 08/04/2015 19:25

Oh, good news on the toilet poo wil!

WilHarlot · 08/04/2015 19:57

How the hell can you be bothered to have sex already Pis? When do you find the time?! White on the tongue is usually milk but if she has patches on her lips too I would get it seen to. Did the mw have a look?

Pisghetti · 08/04/2015 20:22

She likes a lie in (who wouldn't after being up half the night Hmm) so we get one too Blush she was ok when the MW was here. I consulted Dr Google later in the day.

TheBooMonster · 08/04/2015 20:28

she crashed just before 8, but 'm banking cola from the house so it never happens again, my ears may never recover!

pis my midwifes and hv wouldn't stop going on about contraceptives, took to ending the conversation with "have you seen my vagina" Will talk to dr at 6 week appointment about the copper coil as hormone contraceptives make me a bit mentally unhinged, and play badly with my joints.

Moby wraps are good, DH likes ours, they're a bit fiddly though and I've tangled myself up in ours on a number of occasions which I think is more because I'm weird and bendy that because of the wrap...

ZylaB · 08/04/2015 20:41

H does the wide eyed asleep thing and rolls them around..attractive not!

We DTD the other night and it hurt! I don't know why, I had a CS, so perhaps stupidly expected everything to be normal, could it be hormonal?

RPopz · 08/04/2015 20:56

Haha Pis I was also going to comment on your shagging enthusiasm!!

Could be hormonal Zyla - bfing makes you drier down there.

WilHarlot · 08/04/2015 20:58

Without wanting to sound minging, you could be drier than normal due to hormones? I have no interest in sex when bf.... it's going to be a long old year. Does everyone else keep their bra on? I can't bear the thought of dripping milk everywhere!

WilHarlot · 08/04/2015 20:58

Ha x-post.

ZylaB · 08/04/2015 21:29

Ok, that sounds about right. And yes, DH was banned from going near my boobs and they were covered cos it'd feel weird atm while I'm feeding!

Nessalina · 08/04/2015 21:40

It hurt when we last tried to DTD - drier than the Sahara down there Blush I put it down to nerves that it would hurt plus baby asleep a foot away, but actually think it must have been hormony lack of natural lube... Things feel like they're getting back to normal down there now though, so once J goes in to his own room I might let DH near me again! Grin No shags since June poor man!

Hurrah for potty success Wil!

J did the freaky awake eyes the other day when a fire engine went past us as we were out walking! Grin

Nessalina · 08/04/2015 21:40

God yes, unsexy dripping boobs too! Shock

TheBooMonster · 08/04/2015 22:34

the drippy boobs are a serious pain, shame as they're so abnormally big right now I want to wander round with them on show so long as no one touches them but I'm using reusables and disposables at the same time to try and stay dry...
