Since about 5.30 I think I've managed a total of about 30mins without a baby on my boob, and when she's not there you'd think the world had ended with the crying! I'm hoping this is a growth spurt, cos if not I have no idea wtf is going on.

willywallace · 04/03/2015 23:30

It will be zyla, hang in there. I'm finding things a bit better after 6 weeks.

8 posts I can cope with, I'm giving up on catching up on the last thread!!
My baby has turned into a Vom Bomb Confused Constant little sicks all day long. Everything smells like stale milk. Doesn't seem to to mind, gets a bit grizzly sometimes, but not really a big cryer - has he just got reflux-lite?? Trying to keep him upright after feeds, but I'm buggered if I'll do it at night when he drops off on the boob... Anyone else get a lot of mini voms?

willywallace · 05/03/2015 04:13

Think if it's just little possets it's quite normal. Could be about to start teething or something and have a bit more saliva than normal.

Oh God I feel sick as a dog and I have this frigging hospital appointment. Not sure if I've eaten something dodgy. I'm so hot.

DP survived 2 1/2 hours last night while I went out, DD was a little beauty & saved up 2 poo explosions for himGrin & gave me a massive smile when I got in.

ZylaB · 05/03/2015 11:45

Hi, a tmi question (sorry). How long did you bleed for after giving birth? I thought it'd be a bit shorter as I had a CS and thought they sort of cleaned you out a bit...but every time it lessens and I think it's nearly finished, it starts up again! Grrr.

Minion · 05/03/2015 13:05

4 long weeks! Then a blessed month off before ertd reared her ugly mug.

ZylaB · 05/03/2015 14:40

No AF was one of the best things about being pg, I hope she stays away, am hating the bleeding :(

Minion · 05/03/2015 14:55

1 measly ounce she's put on.

One
In a week.

ZylaB · 05/03/2015 15:34

But you know she's not had a good week, once she's settled it'll go up again, don't worry min x

Minion · 05/03/2015 15:41

God I hope so.
Hv said push for a paediatric referral.

willywallace · 05/03/2015 17:02

Aw min. I hope she's ok. Definitely go for referral.

Think I was about four weeks too zyla

We have had a long old day. I'm knackered.

Nessalina · 05/03/2015 17:27

How frustrating Min Confused Hopefully this week will be better for you!

Scoob - marvellous! I'm just out solo myself this evening, J is with my folks, so hoping that they're in one piece when I get home! Grin

Sympathies Wil! Xx

I bled for 6 whole weeks!!

ZylaB · 05/03/2015 17:41

Hope your appt was ok wil

JuniDD · 05/03/2015 18:12

So much posseting here, she did it down my back then down my leg today. Oh, the glamour.

Sorry about R's weight thing min, hope the doctors have some answers soon, or she packs on 6oz this week to make up for it.

What was the hospital thing wil .

I think I bled for about 4/5 weeks after the c-section. Can't really remember now. It was nothing compared to the bleeding after ERPC and they kept asking me how it was in hospital and I was all like "Bah, I've had heavier periods". How annoying of me!

We're going away tomorrow (don't burgle me!). I have NO IDEA how to pack with the baby...will investigate if the hotel has a laundry as on some bad sick/poo days we can get through A LOT of clothes. Going to a wedding which is my idea of hell and it's going to be a NIGHTMARE. I may hide in a corner pretending to feed and message you guys to get me through.

OP posts:
RPopz · 05/03/2015 21:33

I bled for 6 weeks Zyla. I also had the stop start thing where it looked like it was tailing off and then start up again Angry The mw told me it'd be heavier if we'd had a big feeding day, or if I overdid it physically.

Feeling any better Wil? I feel sick as a dog. Think its cos I haven't been taking my antids properly.

Is she still not liking the new milk min? I'd push for the referral like the hv says.

Aw Juni - I luffs a good wedding!! Not had the joy of one avec baby though... I'm being a bridesmaid in September so god knows how that'll go down.

willywallace · 06/03/2015 00:19

Weddings with babies are no fun. Although preferable to weddings with toddlers. You have my sympathy Juni.

Feeling ok Popz but not 100%. Still a bit sicky randomly.

Hospital app for the thing I mentioned on fb - not trying to be cryptic, it's just quite identifiable. You should see the poor wee thing bless her.

ZylaB · 06/03/2015 05:45

I don't know how I'm meant to do this. She just won't settle still, wants to be on the boob all night and will scream when put down. I wait until she's fast asleep but the second I put her down that's it! I can't have had more than an hour's sleep...again. It's so bad I wonder if I should ff to try and get her to sleep [cry]
