Yes lauren on me, or next to me. The main issue is she insists on being latched onto my boob permanently in the evenings, I'm sure it's for reassurance. We even tried a dummy, which she just spits out, she just wants to be in my boob, which is fine...except. I can't sleep. Oh well, it can't stay like this for ever, right?

RPopz · 10/03/2015 22:08

Same min! He's a grumpy arse. Seemed ok yesterday but today he's been back on it. Won't be put down and glued to my boob all day....

Haha, poor MrJuni. I think Mr P is feeling the frustration too, if his constant pawing at my tits is anything to go by... Angry I'm slightly enjoying denying him though after him treating me like a sex pest during ttc and pregnancy Grin Plus, yknow, sleeeeeep.

Ah Zyla - that passes eventually, honestly it does. Thanks Brew

willywallace · 10/03/2015 23:53

Yeah I had that too at first zyla, it is slowly getting better.

MrWil also wants sex but is ok about waiting thus far. I actually wouldn't mind but we never ever get the opportunity until about one am and at that time I'm always choosing sleeping. Especially as it has to be me to get up with her.

We can do it at the hospital every few weeks Popz.

Minion · 11/03/2015 02:43

Dear god.
What has just come out of my daughters bum can only be described as marginally better tab what comes out of the husbands after a dirty doner.
This milk better work, for the sake of my singed nostril hairs!!

ZylaB · 11/03/2015 03:00

Lol min!

willywallace · 11/03/2015 05:33

Haha poor child.

My one has taken to saving up her poos until the middle of the night. Unacceptable. What's wrong with daytime when I'm up anyway?

Minion · 11/03/2015 06:46

Ahh the midnight poo. In a fresh nappy no less... Every freaking time

ZylaB · 11/03/2015 08:07

Always a fresh one, yes! I think DH drugged our child last night!! She was doing the usual refusing to settle without boob in her mouth and I had bad low sugars, ate loads of chocolate but wasn't 100% right when she started crying again so DH took her to try and settle her. I went to sleep and woke up at 2am with a child who was just starting to stir next to me!! Wtf?

Turns out it had taken him until 1am to be able to put her down, but still... I fed her at 2 and she didn't settle until she'd had another feed at 3, went down at 3.15, up at 4.30 for a feed then slept until 7!!! Progress or lucky husband??

willywallace · 11/03/2015 08:57

You can only hope it's progress!

Ah not in a fresh nappy here. Because that would mean I had changed her nappy for no good reason at 5am which I am FAR too lazy to do.

Minion · 11/03/2015 09:14

Ha, me too. Except today I fell for it. Apparently with this new milk poo can be a bit hard, so she started groaning and straining and we'd waited 24 hours for a poo, so I thought, well this is it..
Stripped... Nope.
Changed her as I thought may as well whilst I was there.. And 5 mins later... Boom!

Cheeky madam.

For the first time ever she is upstairs in her room. In her bed. Napping. In the daytime.
Brilliant.
I've got the monitor on and freeze every time it picks up a sound... Nervous nelly!

RPopz · 11/03/2015 10:37

Haha, the one night I put DS to bed before me I was the same Min... Sat on the edge of the sofa the whole time. Pointless!

Woken up with a killer sore throat Angry Bleurgh. DS wee'd in his own face this morning - ha! Grin

RPopz · 11/03/2015 10:39

Finally seen your pics Lauren! Squee! Gorgeous little squish x

willywallace · 11/03/2015 11:28

Still haven't managed to find five minutes to check photo Lauren.

Aww poor MiniPopz. What was his reaction?

Minion · 11/03/2015 16:43

Ooh where's the pics?

Well, I think were growth spurting early, combined with a wonder week. All she has done today is eat (yay) and sleep (on me, Booo)!
She's passed out on my lap lengthways holding her dummy in her hand, in her mouth.
So angelic, you wouldn't think she was screaming bloody murder a few hours ago cause I dared to wake her.

RPopz · 11/03/2015 17:06

They're on the grads thread min.

Me and DS are going out for tea with some childless friends... trying to get him tanked up now so I don't have to get my boob out in the nice restaurant Shock DH neglected to mention he was finishing work early today otherwise I could have made up a stock of ebm and left him to babysit Angry

Minion · 11/03/2015 17:55

I shall bob over!
Just had a phonecall of the husband. As soon as he got home he took her out to let me have a bath, apparently as soon as he stepped foot into waitrose she began batting the hanging Robin on her carrycot!
Yay, she's learning!

Sorry, small things.

willywallace · 11/03/2015 19:23

Aw cute Min.

Don't stress about getting the boob out in the restaurant Popz. I get my tits out any old place these days. Am past caring.

willywallace · 11/03/2015 19:28

what's a wonder week?

Minion · 11/03/2015 20:34

There's times in every infants first year or so that they suffer the 3 c's; crying, clinging and I forget the third. They ask occur round about the specific time and at the end they come out with new actions etc.
But because they are taking new things in it can be quite overwhelming for them so they act out.
I was sceptical but Ro is textbook with it.
Google it, is quite interesting I reckon.

JuniDD · 11/03/2015 20:53

Yup, I've got the Wonder Weeks app on my phone. It's not always correlated with DD but we're in the mega 4 month regression one and there's a bit about being patient yourself which has been helpful!

I've finally had one of those days people talk about where she's fed loads and I've watched loads of telly. Never to be repeated I'm sure but quite pleasant!

minilauren is very cute, how's he doing? Did your chocs get replaced?

microwil is also gorgeous!

willywallace · 11/03/2015 21:00

Aw thanks.

Ok I know about sleep regression etc - just not aware of the funky rebranding Grin . Jeez my baby must be pretty blooming wonderful as she cries ALL the time. She's currently having her nightly meltdown. I've had to come upstairs to let MrWil get on with it.

RPopz · 11/03/2015 21:16

I've got the WW app too. There's 10 wonder weeks apparently wil... Shock

I'm not usually bothered about the boob wil but it was people I work with and felt a bit weird. Plus its the poshest place I've taken him! He was good as gold anyway, sat in his seat smiling away to himself

ZylaB · 11/03/2015 21:25

boobing Grin

JuniDD · 11/03/2015 21:42

heh, I quite like the word boobing.

Totes forgot to tell you. This morning DD gouged her forehead really badly and it was BLEEDING. Bad mother award please (she's wearing scratch mitts till she's four years old).

OP posts:
Minion · 11/03/2015 21:48

Isn't it odd how they don't feel the self mutilation tho? Christ, a self inflicted papercut floors me.
I watched R a few weeks ago whilst she was in that mid waking up stage. Sh outstretched her hands hit the side of the Co sleeper, scared herself and twitter herself in the forehead!
I mean, I laughed but ouch!
