How does he know what a mini egg is and that it is worthy melting down over?

Thechick · 30/01/2014 16:38

Mmmmmm mini eggs!! I might have to get some mini eggs on my way home

ChasingDaisy · 30/01/2014 16:58

I had a meltdown the other week because Tesco delivered kinder eggs instead of mini eggs in my food shop

Thechick · 30/01/2014 17:12

Kinder eggs aren't cadburys, what the hec were they thinking

Pikz · 30/01/2014 17:21

Because O is very clever.

L has meltdowns about wotsits in shops!!

Sophiathestormfairy · 30/01/2014 17:37

What on earth chasing what a faux pas! Shock

ChasingDaisy · 30/01/2014 17:59

It was a substitution as they had no mini eggs. Not. Happy.

GTbaby · 30/01/2014 18:04

Don't know what was wrong with me this morning. It's the first time in a while that I wanted to quit bf.
A is not a cot refuser. It's me being so tiered that I fall asleep awkwardly. If I can stay awake he transfers well, prob is me falling asleep. I don't have a chair or space for one in room.
Sitting up in is bed is awkward because the cot is right nxt to the bed Think I may just have to go with awkward option sit up in bed and transfer.

Pp creat a page on FB giving details of your class. MAKE all your friends like it and encourage them to suggest to mothers they know. Send out reminders the day before the class.

Next keep fliers with you and hand out to every mum/dad you see with a kid.

Find out when new born classes are at your CC, hand out fliers outside at end (new mums more likely to look for new classes maybe)

If I think of any more ideas ill let you know. But DO THE FACE BOOK PAGE NOW.
best way to connect to potential parents and remind them.

I thought we had mini eggs in Hungary but we don't. Bah. Tesco substituted my salmon to some kind of other fish. Bah. Not impressed.

Tomorrow is the day when I apply for O's ni number. Excited. Hopefully I can manage to sort it out and with that I can apply for child benefit and smp (only £100 a month).

Yey for shoes chasing.
And pr lidl is good here but aldi is better. Shame I have no car and they are far away but if I see something in the leaflet I send my parents in their city. Much much cheaper than any other shops here.

StormyIsles · 30/01/2014 19:12

Sorry not had a chance to catch up. But I will! Been a crazy busy week. This is literally the first chance I have had to sit down and I have a 2 hour conference call in 20 mins!!

Choked with cold, eye infection and tonsillitis. M poorly too but manning up much better than me!

And I have a house! Grin

Passmethecrisps · 30/01/2014 20:26

Evening wimmins and luis

Would your local GP surgery be willing to have flyers lying about pp? Mine has lots of posters and things up on the walls. I think the point about nap times is also worth noting. It must be demoralising no one turning up but I suppose everyone has to start somewhere.

How is your pain gt? Could you have pulled a muscle or something in there with sleeping strangely? You have done incredibly well with feeding A and considering everything else you deal with I think it is hardly surprising that you feel resentful once in a while.

Good on those of you who correct racism and the like. I find I just get embarrassed and awkward. I find correcting adults extremely difficult even when it is obvious I should do.

Evilwater · 30/01/2014 20:38

I've been back to the drs again with N, he kept falling over and was walking like "an old drunk". It turns out my poor baby, has an ear infection too. Sad Appently it's a normal thing when they get a chest infection.

He fell over in the bath sitting down. Sad

Lily311 · 30/01/2014 20:44

evil ear infections are horrible, O had 4 in 3 months. Don't be surprised if he wakes up screaming:(. Poor N.

ValiumQueen · 30/01/2014 20:47

Poor N. Bastard ears Hmm hope he gets some sleep tonight x

Kyz · 30/01/2014 20:51

Hi guys,

wasn't about last night because I felt so ill, I could barely move! Was horrible and I thought I was on my way into the flu, but actually I feel almost fine now. Still felt pretty terrible this morning but now i'm not so bad, actually!

Rat is home and doing really well. Am both 1.5lbs and £640ish lighter. Gosh.

I am knackered so hope to head to bed soon, will read fred before I fall asleep but will probably have to just promise to keep up from this.bit.here

hokay?

Erm did I have anything else to tell you?

I don't know.

I can share photos and a video of said rat on our fb group if anyone wanted to see how he's getting on but I don't wish to upset or offend anyone with my three-legged-no-tailed-rat, I know people don't like rats at the best of times never mind such a wibbly weirdy one! I am very pleased though that actually he's so far, so good!

Evilwater · 30/01/2014 20:54

Thanks everyone, it would explain all the falls. I just want him to stop falling, and bumping his head.

Sophiathestormfairy · 30/01/2014 21:03

Testing 1 2 3

PetiteRaleuse · 30/01/2014 21:43

Hmm. Can post on other threads.

PetiteRaleuse · 30/01/2014 21:44

Ooh. I'm back. Does N have abs Evil ? The improvement is v quick with them. Within 24 hrs.

Evilwater · 30/01/2014 21:54

Yes he does, it is the amoxicillin for his chest. Dr said to monitor. Of course he has his dad in the morning, which will tire him out.
Evil

PetiteRaleuse · 30/01/2014 21:59

Can you keep him with you tomorrow or are you working? Tell his dad to read him books and keep him calm. Though, tbh, once the amoxycillin kicks in plus a paracetamol dose he may well already be fine. LO was stumbling and feverish on Friday morning and fine by evening.

If no better there are ear drops they can prescribe. Take him inntomorrow afternoon if no improvement. Sorry you have to deal with this x

PetiteRaleuse · 30/01/2014 22:01

Rereading am surprised an ear infection has developed while on amoxycillin for chest. Have they increased dose?

Evilwater · 30/01/2014 22:02

It's just one of those things PR. I'll tell his dad not to get him too excited. As for the antibiotics, we are now on the 4 day.
Evil

Evilwater · 30/01/2014 22:02

No PR, no dose increase.

PetiteRaleuse · 30/01/2014 22:11

Poor little N. I remember going through infection on infection last year. It was horrible. Yes, tell Xp to follow his lead. Sleep when tired, eat when hungry, and lots of water. They need to drrink on amoxycillin.

If no improvement re the wobbliness do get advice over the weekend.
