Hello new thread. Totally behind in everything, sorry.

YellowWellies · 16/01/2014 19:23

PR we've got the first Hairy Dieters book and can really recommend it. A fair few of the recipes are dairy free so we use it quite frequently. Quick and tasty as a rule.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 19:35

Tits that's fab - well done him.

Good luck at SW Det. Glad O has started liking books, perhaps now he'll sit still for you for 5 minutes!?

I know what you mean about the walking Lily. F wanders around the house finding the dogs toys and throwing them for her.

When I went to collect F today, all the babies were in one half of the room whilst her key worker (aka her favourite ever person) cleaned up after their tea in thw other half. All the other babies were playing around, F was on tippytoes, peering over the fence staring adoringly at her KW. Me and dh chuckled. Apparently she follows her everywhere, into the sleeping bit, into the bottom changig area, everywhere! It is a great relief to me after the CM saga that she has formed such a great bond with someone.

waffle waffle lol.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 19:36

Oh oh. Sorted this weekend, got dh some leave, hotel confirmed - and he has no clue! Waaaaah!

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 19:38

How exciting bp!!!!

Evilwater · 16/01/2014 19:40

I need a bad mummy award.
N has been a handful today, so I thought it was a tantrum. It turns out it was a teethy, reflux, poo. Yes he that has burned, so when I tied to pop him in the bath, yep just really painful scream.

He's gone to bed very easily, but what do I do about ex? Tell him? He probably won't even change his nappy.

My poor, poor LO.
I'm so sorry.
Evil

Evilwater · 16/01/2014 19:50

I've got a skoda Fabia estate. It's not bad and the running costs are low, which is good.

Diet, yeah I should. I really should.
Evil

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 20:16

Evil do not punish yourself. We all have days where we make a bad call, it doesn't make you a bad mummy xx

ChasingDaisy · 16/01/2014 20:22

Yep Evil, tell XP when you hand N over for a visit. I always give XP a run down of how O is - how he has been eating, sleeping etc and any issues.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 20:34

What you need to tell him though, is not the bit where you temporarily missed the problem, but the fact that there is a problem and xp needs to look out for Ns bum whilst N is with him.

Where is Sophia? And GT? Come baaaaack - GT we need Mil tales, we I miss them!

GTbaby · 16/01/2014 20:37

Watching bake off.
Went to see some oct 13 MN mums today! Was lovely.

Think h is learning that I am mum. Yesterday he kept saying it in a calling me way and when I walked into the room he got so excited. Was lovely.

When he is hungry he says mmmmummmmum. When he likes a food says yum yum yum.

No additions to car chat. We just got a zafera. Massive! Nice not having to struggle getting the buggy in the boot tho!

ChasingDaisy · 16/01/2014 20:37

Oh yes, what I said came out wrong. What pig said.

Evilwater · 16/01/2014 20:38

Thanks, for making me feel better.
As for a diet, I've eaten a whole tin of soup and a sandwich for tea but I'm still hungry. :( so much for eating less.
I'll try some tea and see if it fills me.

TheDetective · 16/01/2014 21:00

Evil Soup and sandwich wouldn't fill me at tea either :( I've had a veggie bean burger, on a wholemeal toasted bun, with some melted cheese, roasted red pepper, cucumber, tomato, lettuce and red onion, with some SW chips. Stuffed. :)

My portion sizes are less than they were, but eating 'less' hasn't worked for me. I need to eat til I am satisfied.

O has been wandering around with my phone/his phone and saying hiya in to it all day. Tried to get it on camera, but of course he won't cooperate!

BP Sadly, sitting still is still not happening! He has also ripped the flaps out of several of the books while I wasn't looking wee shitbag! GRRRR!

PetiteRaleuse · 16/01/2014 21:03

Today I have eaten, half a pizza for one and 2 slices of smolked salmon. No junk. I am the living proof that you can't starve yourself thin (and I am not even trying to!!!)

PetiteRaleuse · 16/01/2014 21:05

Ok if tomorrow morning my kids aren't below 37.5 degrees my guests will arrive to a non mopped floor (36 hours and counting), a made bed but filthy kitchen and bathroom. and a takeaway menu.

I feel like shit.

Kyz · 16/01/2014 21:07

Hi all, didn't realise you had migrated to a new fred - thanks for said new fred stunt much appreciated :) How are you atm btw?

Today has been miles better than yesterday for us here, E has eaten lunch and tea, which is fab, and drained his bottle tonight. He didn't sleep for his morning nap at all but did do the afternoon one no problems and so far is asleep tonight, seems settled enough. So am feeling happier for that.

Also, first weigh in at SW and I have lost 4lbs :) very pleased with that :)

still have some of the last fred to catch up on so here I go...!

ooh you 'ard nut yw how are you feeling now?

Anything involving children makes me very upset especially now I have E. Also animal things have always bothered me, things like battery cages for hens etc and animal abuse. Horribles.

Foster parents really are fantastic. My brother was fostered for the first ten months of his life by a lovely couple. He's been my brother though since then, he's 14 now! I didn't watch the programme but would've liked to.

Bless him pikz

det E tends to grab at my food if he wants it. Not as friendly as a clicking noise! He can be quite whingy if he's hungry and recently i've noticed him rubbing his belly but i'm not sure if that's hunger or not. Wouldn't it be sweet if it was!? Bet it isn't that though!

Glad you've had better sleep recently ditsy long may it continue!

Glad you're feeling better chasing

gosh tits have some Flowers, hope your day got better as it went on!

sounds like a fun morning yw!

Right, new fred stuff!!

I can imagine being underweight is going to be just as much of an image/confidence problem as being overweight is, and as much of a problem healthwise too. FC all of us trying to gain/lose or even maintain get to where we want to be :) As I said up thread I lost 4lb, which has cheered me right up. I am aiming for two next week, though to be honest a loss is a loss and 1/2lb will make me happier than I am!

chasing fc it will :)

fruit that's brilliant, well done :)

Poor P pass hope she's feeling better soon

you've done brilliantly det!

bless you zamboni you sound fed up, but i'm glad to hear you're being well looked after :)

Glad O likes books now det E also has a love of books and brings me books all fecking day to read. He also loves touchy feely and flappy books

Awww bless your ds2 tits well done to him!

Hiii vq hope you're ok my lovely

bplp that's really lovely that they've got such a great bond :) And ooooh what a brilliant surprise for your dh!

Don't worry evil it was a mistake, N won't hold it against you, and i'm sure he'll be fine :) I would definitely tell XP just because I think it's important so that he can change his nappy to make sure his rash doesn't get any worse.

Hey gt :) That's lovely with H learning you're mum :) very sweet

evil i'd still be hungry too, that's why I like SW as with det being hungry doesn't work for me, if I try to eat that much less that i'm hungry, I end up crashing and binge eating which just makes things worse!

Eek pr hope you're all better soon

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:09

evil p once pooed almost pure acid - CMer said she had never seen, or heard Sad anything like it. These things happen and can't be completely avoided.

Today p did 4 poos! 4! That would explain why she was so very upset at bedtime last night. She was wincing when I touched her tummy. Jags ways upset her tummy. She is very much brighter now that she is all cleaned out and went straight to bed no problem tonight. Phew! I was really worried about her today. This morning before I went to work she kept coming over for cuddles and would just hang on to my legs. She is a wee bit cuddly but she was obviously suffering. Poor wee thing.

Remember shower-screen-gate? Where a 25kg shower screen fell straight off the wall at bathtime? Well, DH has been pursuing and despite the builders of our house claiming no liability they are giving the full amount back that we paid for t to be installed. Great result. DH is now researching screens and we will ensure it is properly and safely installed.

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:12

kyz! I was just thinking "hmm. I wonder how kyz and that rats are?" And the gorgeous, long-eyelashed E obviously!

pr in normal circumstances a clean bed and a take away menu sound fantastic to me. I yours I would be more than delighted and would be offering to mop for you.

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:14

Oh! And considering the weight chat, today a pupil said this to me:

"Mrs passmeeee. If you have another baby who will be our teacher?"

Now. Sweet you might think. However , this is a 17 year old who is only at school another 3 months.

I wonder if I should stop availing myself of the school canteen's pizzinis!

TheDetective · 16/01/2014 21:17

I must have missed that Pass - I had the same thing happen to me - my shower screen just fell straight off the wall, I was stood there when it did it. It hit me, and took a chunk out of the lino Angry. I don't know who put it up - it was there when I moved in. But the bathroom had been installed from new when I moved in. So it was about 4 years old at the time.

I was extremely pissed off over it.

I have a curtain now as I am too paranoid for anything else.

Kyz he grabs at my food too, hungry or not! If he can reach it... if he can't reach, he clicks! Grin

TheDetective · 16/01/2014 21:18

Well done Kyz, 4lb is amazing! What have you had for meals this week? I'm always looking for new ideas!

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 21:24

Pizzini. Brilliant. Have managed the requisite 2800 calories today. Bit worrried about tomorrow and Saturday as am on call so can be a bit dicey on the food front.

But then Saturday night am off to my parents, and Sunday we are going to stuff our faces in said hotel so will make up for it.

So after the shitty reflux nights we had had recently, I gave F 20mg omeprazole for 3 nights, and the past 2 nights she has slept 12hrs again. Have dropped back to 10mg again tonight, but no idea what I'm doing anymore with this. Am going to push for a paeds referral. I am giving my 2 stone toddler a dose of medication that I prescribe regularly for adults.

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:27

We were going to go curtain if we couldn't quickly resolve the dispute.

The shower screen was out up wrongly in the first place and fell off at the top about 3 years ago (have lived here 4 years) while DH was in the shower. He had to grab and it hold it while yelling for me to get him a screw driver. Thankfully I was in the house and that, frankly, it was him and not me in the shower at the time. I am not sure I could have held it.

About 2 weeks ago I was running a bath it fell clean off the wall and sliced down my back. It landed so heavily the toughened glass chipped. P was running about waiting for her bath. She came running through to see what had happened. It still gives me the horrors thinking of what if she had been in their with me.

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:30

bp our paed said no more than 15 without another appointment. Do you give it split? We were getting unsettled nights so started doing 10ml first thing and 5 ml before bed. Worked a charm.

Also, you should get yourself to our school canteen to up your calories.
