Would love a trip up to haggisland for a pizzini.

We were regerred to paeds ages back, but here they do an advice and guidance thing in the first instance for cmpi so we got a letter which I binned saying she should habe nutramigen for 3 months then try her with 3 or 4 ozs of normal formula. Er, or not. Nearly a yr later...I just have so many qs for them. Not least, why isnt the reflux just fucking the fuck off??

PetiteRaleuse · 16/01/2014 21:35

Even with all the butter, and chocolate, and wine, am not even sure to have hit 2000 calories ever. In my life. Ever. Even when I went through my McDonalds cravings (one cheeseburger, large fries and a small coke).

So where has my 5 extra kg come from? Contentment? Really?

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 21:35

Oh, and she usually has 10 at bed. For those 3 days we gave her 20 at bed. In the day you wouls not know there was a problem. But when she lies down all hellbreaks loose.

Evilwater · 16/01/2014 21:36

I've had a French set yoghurt, and a big mug of tea, to fill me up. :)

It's a quite a bad the rash, well more like a burn. Sad it's all red, angry, and sore. Sad

I've also tidied for tomorrow when n goes to X.

pass Grin
pr hope you feel better soon.
big I hope you get the answer you want, and good luck with the reflux.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 21:36

10g of spreadable butter is 65cals pr. Butter is my friend, perhaps your fiend?? Wink

PetiteRaleuse · 16/01/2014 21:37

(And they were pregnancy cravings)

Maybe I was just always the fat soul in the body of a skinny? Maybe i am just fulfilling my destiny? But am a flabby 10?! That's fine, right?

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:41

Flabby 10 here as well. My arse is something to behold. Not in a good way. I have only just glanced at it and realised that the lovely frock I am wearing clings the the relief and topography of my cellulite with eye watering closeness.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 21:45
Grin

Bed bed bed.

See you laydeez tomorrow.

Kyz · 16/01/2014 21:49

Pass that's a good result re: shower screen :)

bplp no advice for you sorry but it must be ever so frustrating still having to deal with the reflux :(

det thanks :)

I do love SW food :) this weeks meals have been

-sunday roast, with roasted veg and synned gravy/yorkies

  • sausage and mustard pasta (quite nice, little dry but I think it was because I had to warm it up)
  • gammon egg and sw chips
  • barnsley chops and mustard mash - lovely
  • herb stuffed chicken and fruity couscous - gorgeous
  • chicken curry - again lovely

This week coming we have

-cowboy hotpot
-chilli con carne
-colcannon cottage pie
-pea, leek and ham farfalle

  • sunday roast
-chicken + bacon rosti pots and potatoes
  • chunky bean burgers and wedges

I will plan for the week after starting tomorrow, I look for odds and ends in the cupboards. I need something to use light coconut milk up on, any ideas?

YellowWellies · 16/01/2014 21:52

PR I'm a flabby ten too. Smile I look ok clothed thanks to Next high waisted jeans holding everything in Grin .

BP J is nearly 9 kg and on 18 mg of omeprazole per day. The paed was cool with 2mg/kg for an extended period for him. His reflux is still bad if teething, poorly, post jags or if he encounters any trace dairy - I think the sphincter at the top of his tummy is still weak. I do think he might have hypermobility syndrome too (I have it and its linked to reflux) given how bendy his ligaments seem to be (walking on the tops of his feet at times as his ankles are so flexible) and if so his tummy sphincter could be shit for a while. Though this week he is coping fine with me on trace dairy must remember not to go overboard!!! so that's hopeful?

YellowWellies · 16/01/2014 21:57

Pass I tried a new skirt on in our spare room today and caught a glimpse of my saggy cellulitey arse in the mirrored wardrobe and was Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock Shock sigh all the nice knickers in the world won't pretty up that bad lass!!!!

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:58

yw I have always felt that J and bp's F have much worse reflux than p so I would not be at all surprised that they are ona higher dose. To clarify, paed said he would want to see her again if it went higher than 15 so not a 'don't go higher' but a suggestion that things needed looking at.

I always feel like this whenever we talk about how docs have treated us and the babies but I would like to kiss the feet of my GP, the paed and all the other docs we have seen. We are so very, very lucky.

Passmethecrisps · 16/01/2014 21:59

There is a reason our eyes are on the front. We are never meant to see our arses.

PetiteRaleuse · 16/01/2014 22:07

Not worried about my arse (thanks Next jeans) but two c sections and abdominal surgery between have buggered up the middle bit. And the boobs which I swear would do my knees in if I let them.

Laters quiche xx

ValiumQueen · 16/01/2014 22:08

I think I might try J with 20 at night. He has a hideous cold and cough with a fever every now and again and the reflux is coming back. He is a fat boy so I have no worries about dose.

Oh, and I am fucking awesome Grin

I had a huge cull on FB today. One of my rellies got all righteous about the F word so I deleted her post, de-friended her, and thought I would see who else I could discard. It felt very good. Like a life laundry. I kept all quichesters obviously x

Pikz · 16/01/2014 22:10

High five the flabby 10 club

Though I feel a bit better having just come back from boxercise. I will get in that dress.

BigPigLittlePig · 16/01/2014 22:26

Have retired to bed but not without tablet. Error!

Hiya vq. Love a good cull, v satisfying.

Thanks yw. Because het capsules have little beads in them it is an all or nothing sort of thing. Without this quiche and my trace medical knowledge, I do not know what would have happened ovrr the past yr. I would probably have a damaged baby and be on ADs, plus or minus dh.

Although scrawny I too have an alarmingly saggy arse. Dh tells me its fine. I shall avoid mirrors and odd arse inspecting poses.

flouncymcflouncerson · 16/01/2014 22:46

GUESS WHO SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT?!?!*

flouncymcflouncerson · 16/01/2014 22:49

Yup....my son! he did it. He actually fucking did it!! 9pm til 7.30am!!! not entirely sure it wasn't piriton induced as he had a skin reaction after DH kissing him after dinner

Oh and vq we have been on 20mg of omeprazole since Oct 2013. Me used to split the dose 10 and 10 but then i felt that as he is never refluxy during the day we would give the full dose at night.

TheDetective · 16/01/2014 22:56

Fucking GET THE FUCK IN!!!!!!!!

Grin

Fucking love piriton!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Kyz · 16/01/2014 23:11

Omg flouncy yessssss!!!!! Totes amazeballs!!!! Fucking awesome!!!

Lydiejo · 16/01/2014 23:13

No diet here, although I do generally eat very healthy. I changed the way I eat after L was born. Whole grains, more veggies etc. and have kept it up. I'm nearly down to my high school weight now and feel generally better about myself then pre pregnancy! Which is crazy to me. I always thought I would hate my body post baby. I don't mean to boast. I am trying to get back into exercising though which is hard for me.

ChasingDaisy · 16/01/2014 23:30

Yes Flouncy!! That is fucking amazing!!

flouncymcflouncerson · 16/01/2014 23:47

It was a fluke....we've been up twice already :(

GTbaby · 17/01/2014 00:47

Oh no flouncy. Hmm

I can't sleep Hmm H and As blessing starts tomorrow. Got to be ready to leave at 9 Confused

3 days at the temple are going to be tough. But I'll be being boys home for naps as feeding so ill be ok.
Didnt wrap choc boxes you'll be pleased to know. Lol

Acid poo is what I think H has had a few days ago as he looks like he has a burn on his bum. Like a very sore patch on both sides which are identical. Is that what it is? Or could it be something else. Still using the metenium cream. Slowly getting better, bit If its like a burn should I use something else?
