I'm also still here. Not on Facebook. Hope you are all well.

How are you doing Silver? And anyone else here? Do keep talking, I try to check in here as well as on fb.

J is trying to injure himself in as many ways as possible I think. Drew blood face planting a toy last night, has nearly wriggled out of his sling in town, got under the sofa and this evening head butted a wall when rolling over (that was my fault - put the changing mat too close).

We're also having a sleep regression/disturbance phase. Is it a trade off for learning to eat, sit and crawl all at once?

Hello Abzs, Hope J is well today considering that he had an eventfull day yesterday.

My J is not sleeping as well. He is learning to sit too and the eating is now established. I'm going back to work next month so needed this to be established before then. Is anyone else going back to work soon?

Hey abzs ans silver I'm still here and not on the fb group yet. I had a long quiet spell and have tried to catch up recently.

Abzs your J sounds like he is up to everything!

My J like your Js has not been sleeping well and hot into a 10, 12, 2, 4 up from 6 pattern so we've been doing a bit of controlled crying this week (DH had to phisically restrain me...) it seems to be working though.

Is anybody's baby still napping loads? Alice gets up for the day at 7,goes for an hour nap around 9 another hour about 12 and another at 2, then up til bedtime at 7. The last three hours is the longest she's ever awake

J naps during the day; mostly in the mornings as he is awake few times in the night. For instance he has been up since 4:30 and no sign of going back soon.

Hi all - hope you are all ok and surviving lack of sleep. I've been enduring never ending bottle battle with my j - aka the most stubborn baby in the universe (which he WILL rule one day) - in readiness to go back to work on Monday (which I'm dreading but hey, needs must).j now has one tooth cut and is changing sleep patterns (nano nap in the morning and 2 hours at lunchtime). He loves sitting up at the table with his big brothers at meal times - today he had houmous (which he loved), chicken drumstick, cucumber and plain pancake strips for dinner. He has a more varied diet than me already!

Abzs - your j sounds like my ds2. Hes quite bright now so all those mishaps didnt do any lasting damage if that helps any...

This week J has really got into food. He's started complaining when I have some and he doesn't, and when it's finished and much more is going in. Houmous was a hit here too! Not sure dh was impressed that he had to share it...

J is still banging his head off everything he can find. He hasn't figured out that he needs to go around obstacles. He seems quite hardy.

Nap-wise he has about 45-60 mins per 3.5hour cycle of eat/play/sleep, so two or three a day depending on how early (or late) we get up and go to bed.

Abzs - ds2 bangs his head at least twice daily still! They get inured to it!!

I haven't tried humous yet but will do. J likes mashed potato with chicken. Risotto is also famous. He has settled into a pattern of meals with porridge at around 10am, yoghurt and fruit for lunch and supper at arround 8pm. He is still breastfeeding as well and this is on demand. He has however refused the bottle but I'm still trying.

Hello - anyone out there? Hope all is well with our July babies - J turns 7 months in 3 days and is a delight, though very very very very stubborn. He has decided since I returned to work last week to refuse milk in any vessel (bottle, doidy cup, mini cup, sippy cup) other than directly from the boob which is proving rather tiresome for all concerned. Am hoping its linked to teething as a tooth sprouted at the start of last week and I think I can see another one on its way through. Suspect bottle battle mark 3 is looming...

We're here! 7 months and 2 days. J is a Smiley little charmer, except when he'd rather stay up and play than go to bed.

He's growing again and is wearing clothes from 3-6 to 12-18 depending on item and brand!

Food is starting to go in, instead of just being spread about. Or rather, as well as being spread about. No sign of any teeth though.

Hi ladies! Sorry FB lurker too. Actually haven't been on MN in fear I'm doing it all wrong lol

Tilly eight months on the 25th. Crawling, standing holding on to everything, falling loads. She's passed out on me at the moment so figured logging in now was a good time.

Last three weeks has been rough. Colds, tummy bugs, teething, wanting mummy all the time but it's all still amazing finally being a mum.

Wooooo hooo! Bumping up the July 2013 thread for the 10 month olds (and 13.5 month olds) xxx

Bumping this thread as the early arrival birthdays are starting to arrive thick and fast - and it would be lovely to see anyone who has stayed on MN on here as a first birthday catch up.

J is adorable - he has 2 (and a half) teeth, a dimple in one cheek and a sweet nature. He is pretty cautious and not into crawling (wants to do it but goes backwards and gets stuck under the sofa) but still loves his jumperoo and bashing the hell out of any toys (age appropriate or not) that come anywhere near him. His two big brothers adore him (DS1 even deigns to read to him occasionally - the highest accolade) and we couldn't imagine life without him (or our regular 5.30 starts)... His reflux has totally gone and he loves fruit and veg, likes some fish, not much of a fan of meat. And still wont take a blinking bottle.
