Sunday - it may be the food is going into making him longer rather than denser if you see what I mean - ds2 was like that.

Check the Oliver thread - great news afoot...

Sunday has your L been teaching my J how to wiggle about the cot? Found him sideways across it this morning. He seemed to be enjoying himself wiggling and kicking.

What size nappies are people using? I've had to get some size 4 disposables for J while we've no washing machine as the 3s struggle to fit his thunder thighs. How can he have cyclist's thighs without being near a bike yet...

Lol Abzs

L is in size 3 Aldi nappies which are for 9-20lbs and are quite roomy. He weighed in at 13.7lbs yesterday so hopefully won't grow out of the stock pile I have of them before they're used up.

dinky I think L is using all his calories to grow enormous feet! His body fits nicely into 3-6 month sleep suits but I can't squeeze his big feet into the tailored foot part. Luckily I was given some footless ones, but I worry about his poor tootsies getting cold at night: there's nothing worse, I think, than having cold feet in bed!

Lol Sunday I had to snip the feet off sleep suits for ds2 too - he and L are clearly v alike!

Abzs - J in size 3 aldi nappies too

Sunday - does L sleep in a sleeping bag? That should keep his toes warm enough.

N has suddenly forgotten how to nap Sad. I'm hoping this is just a temporary glitch.

Off to see if I can figure out when I found out I was pregnant....

where was everyone when they found out they were pregnant?

I can't figure out when it was, but I was at home. I eventually POAS after my mum had been telling me for a week that I was pregnant. I was convinced it was impossible as I'd been referred to the fertility clinic because I wasn't ovulating & had just started taking clomid when I started feeling sick. It was too soon for the clomid to have worked, but it turns out I'd ovulated naturally (and got pregnant!) just before I took it

My mum just seems to be able to tell. She nagged me for 2 weeks to POAS with DD1 before I found out, because she was certain. She also met one of my friends for 10 minutes & afterwards she asked if she was pregnant - turns out she was, but only a few weeks, so didn't tell me for a while.

Apparently sofas do move. Not sure how quite that much dust gets there. Anyway, that's that job over for another 4 years.

I was at home in my freezing cold bathroom at 0600 on 4th Nov when I found out I was pregnant. I was never ever late in almost 2y of trying so I was pretty convinced I knew anyway but I'd said that the previous month too, when I felt a bit sick. However, the line was so faint I wasn't 100% sure. I left it for DH to see but he wasn't convinced at all!

Had F weighed yesterday too. 7.2kg - no wonder my arms ache. The HV started to give me chat about how he'd slipped down another line, until I posted out she'd put the dot in the wrong place. It pays to doublecheck!

We have also started bathing him in the big bath with space to splash and wriggle. We had full on beaming grin and giggles tonight. It was so much fun to see!

T is an IVF baby so I was told to do a test 2 weeks after the embryo was put back in, I was so scared it would be negative (knew I could only afford 1 go!) I got up at 6 am to wee in a pot and went back to sleep cos I thought no news was good news! Couldn't believe it when I finally did the test and it was positive!

I may have to look into this sofa moving phenomenon! Smile

T loves being in the big bath, everything (and one) ends up soaked...think he might be an Olympic swimmer!

For me it was the morning of my birthday at home - working crazy hours on a deal and woke up with a migraine which I have only ever had due to hormones in pregnancy. Poas in our basthroom before heading off to work and ta-da, bonus birthday pressie!

ahh great stories! Smile Smile mine was a very unglamorous discovery in china with a cheap pregnancy test and a squatty potty in a shopping mall . I took the test but the results were in Chinese so I still didn't know for sure! I stopped eating prawn dim sum and rice with 'meat surprise' after that though

That certainly makes a great story to tell your little one Cheek! Love the idea of trying to decipher chinese to figure out if its a yay or nay. Did the line go top to bottom instead of across too?

I found out a year ago today. It was a surprise (a shock to be honest) as though I'd had surgery for endometrioma I didn't know if that was the only problem and it actually went and happened. No where exciting though, just poas in our bathroom after deciding that 7 weeks was a long cycle even for me.

No exciting POAS stories from me, just in my bathroom , but the first sight of the second pink line was quite emotional for me. It was so very feint, hardly there at all really, DH wasn't convinced. Luckily I'd bought a job lot of sticks from Amazon so I retested over and over (even after it was obvious just to see that wonderful second line appearing Smile)

Went to the park today, golly it was cold. It wasn't very pleasant getting my boob out on a park bench! I deffinitely need to invest in some better bf friendly clothes.

We went to the park today too Sunday - glorious sunny but cold autumn days are lovely (and few and far between at the moment - I got more soaked walking to swimming with J on Friday than I got in the pool!) but you're right, its blimming cold getting your boobs out in the winter!

Yaay shiv welcome back!! So exciting for you to finally bring Oliver home for good!

Dh and I had just started tttc that month so I wasnt really expecting a positive result, in fact I had spotting and cramping the night before, so I took some ibuprofen and went to bed early. Next morning no af so I poas and was delighted to see a strong positive. Cant believe dd is here now, a year later, she's such a lovely wee thing when she sleeps
We've been using sling a lot more recently- for school run as she just kept crying every time we went near the school. She's much happier but ds3 really annoyed at lack of buggy board for him to stand on!
I've also had some long walks with her in sling - including having to jump quite a big stream I'd forgotten about, climbing a large gate, and climbing down an area where the path had collapsed due to heavy rain. Worth it for the lovely views but I'm going to try to stick to easier routes for a while I think!!

Just lost a long Post.

Great news Shiv.

J is in 9-12 clothes and size 4+ Aldi nappies.
I missed his appoint for second imms. He hadn't slept well that night so we both ended up catching up on the morning. I was woken up by the nurse who called to rebook. I haven't weighed him in a while. I'm not a fan of HV clinics.

I found out i was pg on 2 nov as AF didn't show up. I was very happy and I adore him so much.

Marking place on here although I am useless at keeping up, making sure I am up to date on Facebook though!

YAY for Shiv!

I found out I was PG at 8 weeks in the beginning of December as was on the pill & to be honest it was the last thing I was expecting at 18! I POAS at work, expecting nothing... A minor breakdown followed at my desk, fortunately I was the only one in the office that day.

Phew, thank goodness for Silver's J! I was beginning my J was the fat bottomed child of the thread Grin He takes after me proportions wise (poor boy) long body, short legs, sturdy derriere and has DH's climber's thighs. Currently wearing a mix of sizes from 3 to 9 months depending on item and shop. No idea where he gets his hands and feet from though mole genes somewhere.

Another Yay for Shiv, Mr Shiv and Oliver!
