Hi All!
Whoever asked (think GO?) yes, am enjoying work - sort of, although also loved spending time with Thomas - however fully accept that I can't do that full time, both from a financial point of view and also for the sake of my sanity. Am easing back in slowly - although they have got me training tomorrow and Friday - so it is also in at the deep end! In the Financial Services Industry, things change on a regular basis, so have also got 6 months of changes to get my head around!!!
BoB - read your post on Yahoo - OMG - who does she think she is???Absolute PsychoWhatsitFromThe DepthsOfHell !!##!!## Not surprised you were[angy] would have been boiling myself.
She is obviously a person with no morality or conscience - you are most certainly better off without her - Gosh sorry, still can't get over that - hard to think you missed bits out too - what on earth could have been worse? Doesn't bear thinking about! She is clearly jealous of what you and dp have, a wonderful happy life, with the most beautiful baby - why else would she be such a witch? that's what I say.

Hope all others are ok, Thomas is absolutely loving his rice!!

First day at Nursery tomorrow - am going to ring at lunch time to check he's ok - that's another reason they have put me down to train so much over the next few weeks - to keep my mind busy at work!
Diege, glad Libs got on ok - Enjoy tomorrow, and you will be in the same place as me Friday!

Speak later

browniechick · 26/04/2006 19:33

novadandypowder · 26/04/2006 21:02

Brownie - lol Grin Grin

I've put a few of the pics on yahoo - bear in mind we've only had a quick scan of them, but they're pretty good (even if I do say so myself). The one of Nat and DH is soooo gorgeous.

browniechick · 26/04/2006 21:18

Nova - off to have a look! x

browniechick · 26/04/2006 21:24

Nova - they are goooorgeeeeoooous!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must be soo proud. They will look fab enlarged!
WE are having a friend (who took our wedding photos) come and take some of Thomas & us in May - hoping we will get some good ones too. It is costing me a Roast Dinner - so v cheap really (wedding ines only cost me a ticket to a New Years Eve party - he did them as a favour/wedding presie, and they were fab - he has since got another couple of weddings on the back of them!)
B&T

novadandypowder · 26/04/2006 21:30

Thank you Brownie Smile The guy who did them has done work for Richards company, so only charged us expenses, but Richard is going to bung him a few quid as he did a good job considering he'd never worked with babies before.

We got 200+ pics and about 30ish of those are good.

Rodeo · 26/04/2006 21:45

Think I may have been the first to veiw your pics Nova, they're gorgeous! Love them all! You are a very good looking family, you must have more babies, it would be a crime not too. When I looked at the one of you all at your bar(?) I thought for a moment it looked like you're on an election campaign (until I clicked into it properly Blush, haven't even got the short-sighted excuse anymore). They are really good though, love to get some of J but I would be amazed if she even managed a half smile Grin

Bob, what a complete psycho!! Shock Angry Read the e-mail, it is so nasty, what a f*ing nutcase! Hope you hada nice day anyway, did you go to TM in the end?

GO Grin you are funny, your 'disaster' made me LOL, dp even asked what I was laughing about - 'Oh just GO's just got to wean Ezra' well you can imagine his expression (to use my bf's phrase 'like a sh*t just fell out my mouth' Grin, well, maybe mot that extreme) Must control my language, it is getting rather bad.....Must be lovely to enjoy looking forward to going back, hope your colleagues were v.impressed with your post-twins figure! Nipped on the weightloss earlier and your all doing amazing!

Coffee was lovely earlier L&Smum :) Although you always seem to get me a coffee, you must let me get yours next time, plus lunch! Can't believe I told you my embarrassing M&S tale, haha!!

Diege, did you get a sick free day? I'm sure you (and Libs) will be fine on Friday :) Watching the Apprentice - why the hell did I not watch this from the start?!!! Only started watching last week and it's brill! Syed is awful, he has got to get fired tonight!!!

Chacha, are you better yet? :)

Brownie, bet T will have a fab day tomorrow!

Oops, bit of a long one tonight!

Rodeo · 26/04/2006 21:59

THANK GOD HE'S FIRED....

Nova, ignore my stupid comment from earlier, don't want to detract from how great they are, sorry Blush

Right Despo Housewives next, I'm such a telly addict

ChaCha · 26/04/2006 22:29

Hi girls,

GO - So will you start weaning them both then? Hope it helps the reflux. I might start weaning next week (or the week after).

Nova - I've just had a look at the pics and I have to say that the one of N with her daddy is just beautiful! You all look radiant :)

BoB - Live and learn. Your friend sounds like she needs help, hopefully she gets some before she is left with no one or nothing. Sorry you had to experience that. Jealousy and hatred are two very sad inward traits.

Brownie - It's good to hear work is going so well.

Beks - How are the boys? I haven't yet received your email? Remember it's co.uk and not com.

Rodeo - Enjoy your night's viewing. Haven't kept anything down today but am doing fine, thanks. My TV night is Thursday.

LO puts his arm around my neck now. It's lovely to be cuddled :)

Good night girls x

ChaCha · 26/04/2006 22:36

Oh, if anyone wants to sell a baby bjorn carrier or the like I'd be very interested. Cannot do the huggababy, I'm not comfortable with it. Going to put it on ebay I think.

A recommendation would be good too. Trying to get one before Sunday. Thanks x

BEKsmum · 26/04/2006 22:41

Evening girls

Another quickie from me I'm afraid, I am reading to keep up but am up to my eyes at the moment.

Great news this evening one of my mates had a baby boy, we were all sure it was a girl so a big shock there. Can't wait for cuddles tomorrow.

My other friend is out of hospital thank god!

Chacha, I'll try sending you that document again if not I'll save it to a disk and send it to you Rodeo and Bob, that way.
Sorry you are still feeling poorly, have you been to the drs about this yet?

Nova, beautiful pictures, and I've got to agree the one with you and the one with her daddy are just gorgeous.

Bob what a nutter, just pity her and move on, unfortunately everyone manages to find an a-hole in life once in a while. Just remember you did all you could for her and she deserves all that she gets as what goes around comes around.

Went to the dentist today, had enough pain killer to fell a donkey - fantastic only thing was my face was diagonally numb till 3pm Grin or should that be half a grin a I had no control of the other half!!!

Hope all the poorly LO's are feeling better.

Hi to everyone I've missed.

Right best get off and let my dh play his game.

Speak to you all tomorrow. Beks

Diege · 26/04/2006 22:44

EveningSmile!!!Yeessss!!!He's out Grin. I so love the badger, have from the start. Hated the way Syed tried to 'calm her down', playing the 'hysterical female' line when she was being rightly passionate. Have to admit I wouldn't throw him out of bed for toast crumbs though IYSWIM (Please don't read this over my shoulder DH!!!).
CHACHA, still poorly, poor you Sad; do ypu feel terribly ill too, or is it simply a case of not keeping food down?? Ahhh, cute little Z and his arm round shoulder Smile.
BROWNIE, good luck for tommorrow Smile; Libby also has her first proper visit (morning), so packing her bag tonight Sad. Gearing up for Friday now, and have just heard (from HR woman) that my boss can;t make it to my flex.application meeting. Obviously I'm a top priority Angry. As DH says though, this might be a blessing in disguise!!! Must practice being like the badger!!!
RODEO: sick-free day!!!!She's taking a few ounces at each feed now too, and also had some water today. Hope she's not saving it up for nursery Shock. Was thinking about your horse riding today - are you still having reguklar rides ?? (sorry, sounds a bit rude!!!Grin)
Right, off to look at NOVA's pictures Smile
Post tommorrow!
Diege Smile

BEKsmum · 26/04/2006 22:48

Chacha I've got a couple of baby carriers if you want them, I don't them it as they give me back ache. Happy to stick them in the post to you, can't remember what the makes are but I'll have a look later. Might save you buying one.

If they aren't any good you can just post them back and I'll pass them on to another friend who is expecting. Beks

babyonboard · 27/04/2006 08:31

morning all...

nova - they are fab! i love the one of you all together..you were lucky to get so many nice ones considering babies (well mine at least!) have a habit of looking in the other direction to the camera..lol
beksmum - glad to hear your friend's recovering well..are you all sorted for the ceremony this weekend?
chacha - if beksmums sling doesn't suit you i can't recommend wilkinet enough..i love mine! not sure you'd get much more wear out of a baby bjorn, whereas wilkinets can be used right up to being a toddler (as a hip seat)
we went to the ICA last night, as the decorator arrived too late for me to go to the tate...i met dp from work and it was great..
i set the video for the apprentice though!ooh how tense..so glad sayid got fired!
dp has just bought a new painting for our chimney breast..it's so amazing..an acrylic on canvas of a vintage spiderman comic front page..
can't wait for our new sofa to come now! is 15 weeks delivery normal!? Shock

asforthis'friend' pah! why on earth did she bother!? god knows what possesed her..

hope the weather cheers up..i'm going to walk over to greenwich today to browse the book and record shops..

babyonboard · 27/04/2006 08:32

oooh and l&smum i love the photo of seth! what a cute face! Grin

Diege · 27/04/2006 08:49

Morning girls! Smile Well, just dropped Libby at nursery for her first session Smile. She seemed fine when I left, though I didn't make a big thing of leaving. Keep thinking, 'she's due her nap now, will they remember???' - that's the problem with being a GF mum!!!! Hey, maybe one day I'll set up a GF nursery Grin, everyone wearing strached pinnies and pushing baby out in those big old fashioned prams! Picking her up at 1.30 today (after my driving lesson and blow-dry!!)Must say it's tough getting all three out the door by 7.45 - nearly cracked it this morning, though no time for brekkie.
Hope everyone has a good day Smile; sounds like you have a nice one planned BOB - you always do lovely things Smile. BTW sofa wait sounds a bit excessive; bet it's gorg though!

beartime · 27/04/2006 09:44

Diege - you're picking her up at 1:30 - right in the middle of her nap?????!!! Grin

Diege · 27/04/2006 10:12

LOL BEAR! Yes, I know!!!Arghhhh!!! Trust you to keep me on my toes Wink

ChaCha · 27/04/2006 11:28

Beks, that would be fab. I can paypal you the postage costs just for your trouble and go from there. Let me know.

Busy day, catch up later x

ChaCha · 27/04/2006 11:35

hv just texted u beks x

Karmamother · 27/04/2006 12:29

Lol at the GF nursery, Diege. Lord, she needs some support right now!!

Beks, glad your friend is out of hospital. Must be a huge relief. Congrats to your friend's bubs. Hope you've recovered from the dentist. You sound like you've got a lot on so I can ring you another time if you'd prefer.Smile

Taking Ella off to the swimming pool this afternoon, with her friend Harry. Harry's great....a real little sumo with a very cheeky grin. Then going in to see DP in hospital. Hopefully coming home tomorrow so tonight is my last good sleep. Actually, I've really missed him & last night had a few tears.Sad Will make a big pan of beef stew tonight for him to scoff tomorrow. Gawd, I sound like a Stepford Wife!!

novadandypowder · 27/04/2006 12:44

Diege - I think a GF nursery would be a great idea! I bet it would go down well here (runs off to draw up business plan...)

Glad to hear your man is on the mend Karma, sometimes the time away makes you realise how much they mean to you.

Chacha - If you wanted to give a Baby Bjorn a try you could borrow mine as Nat is too big for it now, but we'd want to use it for the next one. I'm sure the ones from BEKs will be fine, but let me know.

Went to see the nursery school this morning, and it looks like we've got a place. Going to send her sucky up letter this afternoon and DH is going to send a Harry Hill DVD (she is a HUGE fan and we managed to get into the conversation that DH is off to Switzerland with him this afternoon Wink). Phew it's hard work being a Notting Hill mummy.

Did miss the first sing and sign class because of it though, arrived just as they were singing the goodbye song. Got the handout though so we can practice before next week.

novadandypowder · 27/04/2006 13:01

Rodeo - if you think that photo is election fodder you should see some of the others! Even we had to laugh at ourselves over the 'vote Allen-Turner-ness' of it.
