HI everyone! Just been trying to catch up on the posts!

Bear - Sorry you feel the need to leave and i'm sure no-one meant to offend at all.I know I do swear sometimes on here but I do in RL aswell( obviously not all the time in a raucous fishwife type of way!!). Anyway hope you won't stay away too much we've all come so far!!

Nova - Get back on your sunbed!! very Envy the weathers been good here today although not as good as Greece!!! Post some pics on Yahoo when you get back.

Rodeo - Glad you had a good hol in Spain villa sounds fab!!Have you got your mobile back yet? Is it same number?

Brownie - Seths not very interested in his food at the mo either but i think it may be because his gums are tender ( manages to wolf down yoghurts etc though no problems!Angry)

Been weeding the flower beds this evening got 3 bin bags of rubbish from one bed!! Can't believe it gets in such a mess so quickly. DH is building a patio we are now into the 3rd summer of this 'project' he seems mainly to move rubble around mostly!! I told him i think he must have been a prisoner in a former life as he seems to enjoy breaking rocks so much!!Grin

Anyway off now Speak soon xxxxxxxxx

BEKsmum · 31/05/2006 22:14

Sorry Brownie crossed posts with you there, but your posts did make me lol.

Can your Thomas and mine rub shoulders please so that my Thomas sleeps through too Grin

Meant to ask you before do you always call him Thomas or do you shorten it to Tom? We do both - very lazy

Have you started to give Thomas tipbits of other things now. If so you may find that he'll go off of some of the purees. They learn fast Grin

Great image of Thomas in his highchair by the way, I used to give Ben my silver bracelet when he had trouble with teething, suitably hard but yielded enough to leave bite marks when teeth did eventually come through.

Sorry just realised this is probably the first time I've ever really replied to you - don't know why I haven't before as I was thinking about you the other day when I found some Brownie annuals from 1982 in my loft! I had the uniform on the cover I was 8 at the time I should hasten to add!

Beks

Sorry girls back again

I'm sure some of you will remember Xena from our early threads so I just wanted to let you know that she had a baby boy on the 18th April. Grin

Evening everyone!! BEKS, sounds like you have every right to throw your teddy out of pram!! Maybe you'll be able to reach a compromise after sleeping on it Smile. BEAR: sorry to see you go, and quite surprised too. Sure you would agree that it's better that everyone is themselves though, and that RL really does stir up strong emotions etc, and far healthier to let it out amongst friends I'd say Smile. Stay in touch, and hugs to Caleb Smile.
BROWNIE: ahh, little T knawing his highchair Grin; sounds like he's getting lots of yummy dinners; remember dd1 sussing out the tasty pudding that follows savoury course. In end I had to keep ouds bland (fruit or cheese), though some puds look fab - chessecake etc!!
Well, off to bed,
Diege Smile.
PS thanks for all your support re: the 'posse'. Feel better now Grin

ChaCha · 31/05/2006 23:33

Just a quickie while I wait for steamer!! Forgot to make food for LO to take with us Blush Butternut squash and pear, yuk!! Hope he likes it.

Is St.James Park near Victoria? Anything in that area worth visiting?

I doubt anyone will read this before I go, leaving very early. Night night all

ChaCha - I am not trying to condemn anyone, and yes it was GG's post that finally got to me, tho' it had been mounting up for a while on other threads of MN actually more than this one. But GG it's not just you, and besides you have a right to do that - its not in the rules not to swear or anything. And i know you were having a hard time. You're all free to do whatever you want and that's fine - it's just that it's not good for me to be around it so much. Brownie it's probably the F words that bother me the most. But as I said I'm not trying to get anyone to change or to feel bad - it's just a personal decision I've made for my own good.

GG don't go anywhere pleeeeeeese though - cos I've already decided to go. And its not just you - its on other posts and threads etc. And besides there aren't any rules against it, so if I feel like this I need to go somewhere where there is a rule don't I! Grin Sorry I'm fumbling around here - that's the trouble with being honest! Anyway I'll be back from time to time cos I want to hear about all the babies, and I'll miss you!

Here now I'll have a rant - I spent four hours making soup today for Caleb with home-made veg stock, then the soup, then I forgot to take the bayleaves out and blended them in, and on googling found that they damage the inside of the stomach if left in so I had to chuck it all down the sink Sad Sad

SharonTW · 06/06/2006 22:59

Hi everyone, just as I say I will get on more my internet goes down !! Typical. Hope you're all well. Must get on more just to keep me sane ! Sam teething too , and rolling and shuffling. No signs of crawling yet but think he's trying to walk !
Realising when I'm not in the room now and not liking it (all open plan ) even if I talk to him form the kitchen little monkey.
I know he's big for his age but he is long and hunky but HV told me to cut down his feeds and let him cry at night.
His head was 38cm born , he's never going to be average size is he ?
Bless him , have ignored her advice anyway so still having a night feed. I wake up anyway !
Saying that had best get to bed !
Night all
ps have never noticed excess swearing on thread ?
I guess some people are more sensitive than others to these things, hope no=ones too upset x

Rodeo · 07/06/2006 19:43
