Well A took 50 mins to settle today at bedtime, think she was overtired (maybe?) ledkr I was thinking of you whilst re-settling her and loitering outside her door, sometimes I feel so frustrated so easily then feel bad b'cos shes a baby still :( Ended up cuddling til she was nearly asleep then put her down, she cried but settled herself phew.

emski yay Noah walking! Very cute. How was your pizza? Am jel, I had crappy sainsbos noodles that weren't very nice.

wiggles A is drinking her cows milk like a star, she was a pig today at nursery too which I'm always happy about! Am wincing at poor A trapping her finger, scary. We're the same - I get even more annoyed with dp if he is off work for longer than a few days, easter soon oh dear Grin I'm not moaning really, we can take it in turns for lie ins.

deb I havn't run today as dp is out but will get my arse in gear tomo. Did you get a letter for jabs or did you ring the docs? Not sure if I should ring about A's jabs or wait and see.

Am ready for bed soon - ledkr and blizy are you enjoying walking dead?!

Oh and work was better today, also when I went to pick A up from nursery I peeped at her and she was cuddled up on her keyworker just falling asleep, I felt mean taking her home she looked so comfy!

ILovePonyo · 22/02/2012 21:45

Hiya reastie sorry to hear about work, boo :( Although I did Grin at calling MR W "Mr W" Wink Oh and Walking Dead deffo worth a watch, tis gory and a bit jumpy but thats what makes it good Grin

debka · 22/02/2012 22:09

ponyo I'd been wondering about them, was going to call the GP when I got a text reminding me of the appt tomorrow- for some reason I'd never received the letter Hmm

blizy did you watch OBEM tonight? I was thinking of you, hope you are ok xxxx

blizy · 22/02/2012 22:23

Wiggles- poor Anna and Grin Mr W being all ptb.

Ledkr- hope Dilly has a long lie in the morning.

Reastie/wiggs sorry work is so shit at the min.

Deb- didn't watch obem tonight, I plan to tomorrow. I know what happens though.

Not seen any walking seas yet, Dh is downloading them as we only have council Tele.Grin

can't remember who asked, but Dh is working from home this week( driving me bloody insane) and we both finish up work on thurs for a week. Must be something in the air as Dh is irritating the hell out of me just now, he keeps following me around the house asking if I'm ok and if I want a hug. I know he is trying to be nice and supportive but I am just wanting my own space to cry in peace! His, that sounds so selfish Blush.

Anyhow, I'm off to bed to hopefully sleep. Night all.

blizy · 22/02/2012 22:24

Bloody phone, was supposed to say walking dead and. God that sounds selfish!

wigglesrock · 22/02/2012 22:43

blizy it doesn't sound selfish, it sounds normal, By the way I like the sound of this walking seas programme Grin

Night night sweetheart.

tadjennyp · 22/02/2012 23:45

Hugs to blizy. xxx

I really sympathise with anyone suffering with a lack of naps. S was up at 5.30 this morning and didn't go down for a nap till 3.30 this afternoon! Totally knackered! Hope all the babies sleep really well tonight for you and don't get up till the sun does.

Poor Anna, wiggles. S is always trying to close drawers on his fingers too!

Sorry you are having such a bad time at work reastie. Well done for saying no to the biscuit baking. I've worked part-time too, but fortunately all parents' evenings were on the days I worked. It is pointless going in for nothing. Hope it settles down soon. Not long now till the Easter hols though?

Emski76 · 23/02/2012 06:29

Morning all
Noah is awake and chatting to himself in his cot, little monkey!

Ref the mini skirt.,my legs are ok just my fat middle section to sort.if I lose about half a stone my middle seems to shrink. My tum is disgusting!

Must ask dh about getting me Walking Dead, it sounds really good. I looked it up on the net and think I might enjoy it.

I asked my hv about the 12 month jabs and she said to wait for a card in the post, apparently it can be between 12 and 15 months.

Ponyo, pizza was yum! Noah was a piggy at nursery today too. They sat him at the little dinner table for the first time too and said he loved it.

I would love to get back into running but don't seem to have the time. It's either housework on an evening or exercise, and as I try to be stupidly house proud the housework always comes first! Well done to Debs for getting back on the wagon.

Blizy, not selfish to want to be alone to cry. Thinking of you all the time, and holding your hand along with all the Feb girls.

debka · 23/02/2012 06:57

WIGGLESROCK I just had the most glorious DREAM where my mum and I went to Belfast and visited you, you were bloody brilliant, so was MrW and the girls, thanks for looking after us so well in my dream Grin Hmm

ems nice legs Grin

Best get the girlies up, they've been singing away for about 15 minutes now.

Have good days everyone, see you later xxx

ledkr · 23/02/2012 07:30

grrrrrrr.Another 5.45 wake up. We left her a while which woke Ella who is now in fowl form and Dilly does nothing but moan and fall over.I dont mind an early start if its a happy one but this is ridiculous.Up at dawn for a day of crying and total overtiredness. Im considering working full time just to get away from it Sad

americanexpat · 23/02/2012 08:54

L had his jabs yesterday, it's so horrible to have to hold him down while the HV does it. Sad He was really grumpy last night, went to bed an hour early. He seems to be OK today but he's usually cheerful in the mornings. He's 21lbs 5oz and 77cm long (50th and 75th centile). We came away from the HV with loads of stuff, toddler book, toothbrush and toothpaste and a TT beaker that L insisted on carrying all over.

44me - how's Imogen today?

Right, must get some actual work done now.

Four4me · 23/02/2012 09:45

blizy I watched obem and I think you'll fine it ok. A few Sad moments but well presented I thought. It was the mum of the woman in labour that had had a baby die at birth. She obviously found watching her daughter in labour extremely difficult.

dilly sleep in a bit longer and the day will be a whole lot happier x

Haven't heard yet about Archies jabs, the hv mentioned them at his 12 month check. Will wait for a letter.

Poor Imogen is about the same, her month is full of spots and when I looked she has both bottom back teeth half through as well. No wonder she doesn't want to eat anything. Just another day cuddling on the sofa and an overdose of cbeebies!!!

blizy · 23/02/2012 11:57

44me- I just watched obem, I did find it ok upsetting at times but ok. I really felt for the girls mum, she was so frightened. Also the lady who had a stillborn baby previously, when they brought the scanning machine to her in bed, what awful memories I have of that moment. I'm glad all worked out for them both.

Poor Imogen, little sausage must be feeling So Ill. Hope she feels better soon.

American- hope L is ok?

Ledkr- Boo to another early start.

Hope everyone is ok and has a good day.

tadjennyp · 23/02/2012 18:24

5am seems to be the new 7am here too, ledkr. I even tried feeding him lying down, which I never managed while he was tiny, but he still didn't drop back off. Naps last 20 mins if I'm lucky unless we are marching round in the pushchair!

I hope Leo's feeling better from his jabs and Imogen gets better really soon. I am so glad they vaccinate for chicken pox here. You definitely both deserve a break with all the illness going around expat and 44me.

Envy of the legs emski! My tummy is a bit crepey at the mo, Sad but I am still going to scoff that cream egg. Less than 5 hours sleep is not compatible with a diet, imho.

I hope everyone's tea times have gone well and that you had good days at work. Have you made a decision yet over which job to take Delia? I'm sorry that your are not enjoying your jobs at the minute, ledkr, reastie and wiggles. Hope you turn a corner soon.

We've booked flights back to the UK in the summer. Cost a King's Ransom, but at least dh is allowed to be away for 3 weeks. I don't think I could have managed 3 flights with 3 kids on my own. Can't wait now!

Emski76 · 23/02/2012 20:15

Oh ladies, please dont be imagining i have nice legs. Their ok as in not as wobbly as the rest of me! And I did wear thick black tights with my skirt, holds the fat in!
Ran earlier on the way back from the shops with Ben and wow I had sore boobs after, was a little too embarrassed to hold them whilst running, but they were chaffing against my bra!

Tad, bad news with the early wakings, what is it with these babies? Noah woke with a shout at 5.55this morning! I was not best pleased.
Bet your excited about visiting home in the summer!

wigglesrock · 23/02/2012 21:14

Well I have fab legs myself, Grin its the only bit of my body that is recognisable from my early 20s Grin

I got a card in the post this morning calling me in for As jabs in a few weeks, but there was an arsey note attached reminding me that I had missed an appt to get them done last week Shock, lets just say my wrath was felt Grin.

Anna gets up around 6.15ish, the other two don't sleep that much later, but it suits us to be honest.

americanexpat there was a thread a few days ago re having to hold baby down for jabs, I've always had them on my knee.

Yay for flights tad and debka I'm glad you enjoyed your virtual visit, it was a pleasure Grin

OP posts:
americanexpat · 23/02/2012 22:05

debka - I saw someone running in a hi-vis vest tonight and immediately thought WANKER JACKET! Grin

wiggles - he was on my lap but I had him in a tight hug to restrain his arms. Horrible, I felt like I was betraying him. Sad

tadjenny - 3 kids on 3 flights? No thanks, I barely managed 1 child on 3 flights. Grin It'll be a lovely visit though, has your family met S yet?

One of the other children at L's nursery went home today with vomiting, apparently she vomited on another girl's lunch Shock and the nursery manager. L and the other baby both had loose nappies today too, so fingers crossed it doesn't turn into anything.

wigglesrock · 23/02/2012 22:14

american ah I see, that's how I've done it too, its not very nice. Never panic about the nursery, S & O have managed to avoid some nasty bugs over the past while. Realise that I have now cursed myself and am likely to have a plague ridden house very soon - "walk it off girls", some Rennies will do the trick Grin

OP posts:
WeAreBorg · 23/02/2012 22:18

Evening,

Just wanted to say blizy I have been thinking about you an awful lot, I can't really say anything helpful because it's so terrible. Thinking of you and your lovely little family (not the rest of them!) so much xx

tad how exciting, where will you be in the UK?

expat oh no! Not more vomorrheoa.

We have to take N for his jabs tomorrow, I am dreading it. He has been super whingey recently, and cried today when he nearly fell over so lordy knows how he'll handle some actual pain.

Grinning smugly at all the early wakings, always after 8am here.

We all have slight bugs of various sorts here, N been very rattley. Something appears to have crawled up my arse and died there, I am producing some impressive bum odours. Even DH is marvelling at them.

blizy · 23/02/2012 22:30

Thanks Borg- you made me laugh with the brackets!Grin

American- hope l is ok.

Pants, forgot all other posts sorry I haven't replied to you all.

Just came on to wish Hubbard and Tom good luck for tomorrow, I'm sure he will be a brave little boy and be just fine. Thinking about you both. X

ledkr · 24/02/2012 07:12

borg an elloquent post as ever Grin Its always good to blame it on a bug.I cant eat beans as i can clear a room in 2 seconds.Very handy in the supermarket though when you are ina rush to get through check out.

wiggs My legs held on till the bitter end.I wore short skirts right up until the last weight gain (dills) now i have wrestlers legs so tend to keep them covered up. I weigh more now than when i gave birth to all the ds's grrr.
I am in fact working on that though and am doing well,i just hope it pays off or im going to be very disheartened.

blizy In my thoughts as ever, just wish i could help xx

*well she slept well until 6.15 which isnt too bad i guess,it still feels like midnight to me though. I need some wiggles positivity to accept this, bear in mins though i have been getting up with kids since i was 17 so i am entitled to a bit of annoyance at times. By the time i can lie in ill be old and wake up early to potter in the garden or get first in the post office queue to discuss easter being earl or late this year Grin

reastie My bil is already considering jacking in teaching. Not just cos of the no pat leave but because of the extra work.He works 8-6 then again at home. I wouldnt do it for all the tea in china myself and that comes from a sw with more paperwork than you could ever imagine-I do get to go home though.
My nephew is delicious,he had his tongue tie cut yesterday so is feeding much better. He looked at me out of the corner of his eye yesterday, obviously sizing up his favourite auntie.

blizy · 24/02/2012 07:25

Offft ledkr I can't imagine all that time without a proper long lie, mucho respect to you.Grin Your little nephew sounds like a cutie. Serioulsy it does help to know that people are thinking about my little Zoe bear, such an impact my baby girl had.

Talking about legs, mine are like white/blue tree trunks.Hmm

Thats me off work until Thursday now, I'm off to my ds today it is her 40th birthday today. We have decided on zoe's birthday we will make a birthday cake, decorate her special place in the living room and release some balloons at the crematorium. We are also going to enquire about a memeorial plot at the crematorium. Now the count down begins.

ledkr · 24/02/2012 07:35

Just dates my friend, important dates but just dates,
she still exisited,is still your daughter and will never be forgotten.

Four4me · 24/02/2012 09:20

Morning all.

blizy sounds like a fitting way to celebrate Zoe's birthday.

expat hope L doesn't get the lergy.

tad will you be coming to Yorkshire when you are over?

ledkr wel jel of you having gorgeous baby nephew, I want one!

Had to take Imogen to the dr's yesterday afternoon, she had a temp and her spots looked infected. Poor girl, when we were there her temp was 40degrees. He gave us some antibiotics and stronger antihistamine. She did have a better night though and is still asleep now!! Hoping today is the day she turns the corner. Xx
