wiggles your hair is fab, you look gorgeous! So, how does it feel to have the Mr back? Mine is back tomorrow, I can't wait!

I have started spotting so I know Af will show right on time on sat.

Emski76 · 29/03/2012 21:13

Wiggles, your hair looks fab! You look so lovely and friendly, wish you could be a rl friend! You do look very yoofful for one with three children!

Love the hiding stories. Whenever we're out walking Ben will hide and say 'say where's Ben?', I then have to walk past him pretending I don't see him, the he jumps out on me or walks behind me poking me with his finger!! He loves it and thinks its hilarious when I 'jump'.

We went to the beach this morning, it was fab. It was Noah's first time on the sand and he didn't venture off the blanket but did manage to get sand in our picnic. Everything was kinda of sandy and crispy, not so yum.

Tad, hope your ok.

I can't remember any other news sorry, but am jealous of Four4 and Wiggles meet up! If you all arrange another meet up in Birmingham I promise to come along this time!

RobinSparkles · 29/03/2012 21:15

Wiggles, looks fab! :o

Look at how big Anna has got! You've put some new pics up since the last time I looked. She's gorgeous, really big blue eyes!

debka · 29/03/2012 21:26

wiggles bloody hell you look about 16!! And slim too Envy Grin

Loving the hiding stories!

blizy bollocks to af, I really hoped it would be your month :( Hope DH gives you a massive hug tomorrow when he's back.

emski we went to the beach today too but it's only stones here. I am a bit Envy of your sand.

Exciting news, I bought a pair of size 20 trousers today!! They are a bit tight but they fit!! OK OK I know 20 is still mahoosive but bear in mind I was in a seriously embarrassing 26 6mo ago Blush. I feel like a slip of a thing Grin

reastie · 29/03/2012 21:31

Hi all,

tad what awful news. I was looking at Alice today and wondering what I would do if anything happened to her and my heart actually hurt for the LO in your family Sad

wiggles love the hair although I can't really compare it to the old 'do - now it's short it'll be quicker to wash and cooler in hot weather too Grin

blizy boo to AF, but I will now remember your AF date as mine is on the way too (we are just way too synchronised Wink )

Love the hiding games and stories - can't wait to do that with Alice.

Well, I've not posted (or replied to debs pm yet - sorry) as I've had a really bad day with Alice and am struggling. I got woken up last night by Alice having been sick in her cot, she then screamed for half an hour before being sick again all over dh . She's been really off all day not eating and really miserable and generally unwell-ish. I've just been really stressed about it as she hasn't really been like this. What with that and the screaming in pain fit she had on tuesday and the spots in her mouth at the week end she's been really under the weather for a few days. I'm wondering if it's a reaction to her injections. I've been googling this and it looks like all her symptoms do fit with the MMR and she started 10 days post vaccine which seems to be a common length. Has anyone else had any of these symptoms a couple of weeks after?

wigglesrock · 29/03/2012 21:42

reastie my HV told me to look out for post vaccine symptoms re mumps from about 10-14 days after, I'm not sure what mumps symptoms are, but Anna was in terrible bad form for about 3-4 days after the injection which HV told me was when the measles reaction could happen but I just noticed today that she has another bottom tooth up and is getting a back tooth.

blizy its lovely to have him home, I didn't realise I had physically missed him until he was back - the house seemed very big and quiet without him.

RobinSparkles Anna has lovely eyes, a completely different colour to the other two, they both have very dark eyes but Anna has my Dads eyes Grin

debka well done on the trousers, it is a big deal, you should be really proud of yourself

Many thanks on the hair do comments, I am well aware that it will never look this good again Grin

Oh Four4Me I spoke to your sister tonight - she's lovely Grin

ILovePonyo · 29/03/2012 21:43

wiggles you look fab, am loving the new 'do' :) Agree that A is super cute (and tall) too!

emski I am also jealous of the beach, sounds great despite sandy picnic.

tad I told dp about baby Gage - we both said we cannot imagine how that must feel, just so sad.

Well I have a gross story for you all, hope no one is eating. A pooed earlier but it was little rabbit poos and dp had just changed her nappy so he just tipped them into the bin in her room and put the nappy back on (can you see where this is going?!) Just before bath time she was crawling around upstairs, I looked at her and she had something in her hand that she shoved in her mouth, I took it out and yes, it was a little poo pebble she'd fished out of the bin Shock My daughter put her own poo in her mouth. Vom. please don't judge Grin

A had her first taste of wagamamas today, she didn't seem too impressed weirdo. She did have a profiterole earlier and loved it, no surprise there!

ILovePonyo · 29/03/2012 21:46

ooh cross post, reastie poor A, you going to go back to the docs? A was unwell after hers but the few days after, not like Alice either.

debka · 29/03/2012 22:01

ponyo the gross thing in your story is not so much A eating the poo (although that is pretty bad)- it's your DP tipping the poo into the bin!!!! Yuk!! Was the toilet just too far away?? is it bad that I am jealous of a DP who actually changes nappies?

reastie forgot to say, no advice from me on A's health, just sympathy. Hope she's better soon and you all get a good night :)

tadjennyp · 29/03/2012 22:04

Loving the hair wiggles! Looks great! Glad MrW had a great time and bought you back what you wanted.

The hiding and beach stories are all really funny.

I would take Alice to the doctors tbh, reastie, but then I'm probably feeling overprotective this week, you know? I hope she feels better soon.

Boo to AF, blizy. Sad

The funeral is in Kansas and I would go but she has her whole immediate family with her and I feel that is appropriate. Does that make sense, or am I barking up the wrong tree? My Mum and Dad and we have ordered flowers for him and I've sent a card. I'm so grateful that you are all thinking of him too. We are taking the kids to a fundraiser tonight for a little girl who has mitochondrial disease and donating the money in Gage's name.

Sending sleepy vibes to all the babies tonight.

ILovePonyo · 29/03/2012 22:06

Exactly deb - thats what I said and he looked surprised and offended Confused

tadjennyp · 29/03/2012 22:08

x-post Ponyo, I think every child puts poo in their mouths at some point! Yes, debka, well done on the slacks. [1950s emoticon]

Anyway, a story to make you laugh. E crawled into bed this morning, turned over and said, 'my willy's standing up, down willy, down,' while slapping away at it! Grin He's four and a half! Smile

wigglesrock · 29/03/2012 22:12

tadjennyp Grin at slacks and Grin Grin at E xxxx

Emski76 · 29/03/2012 22:12

Yuk to poo story Ponyo.

Boo to AF Blizy.

Deb, well done on size 20 trousers! Good on ya!

Reastie, I would take Alice to the docs too, I didn't know they could have so many reactions to the MMR. Noah has his tomorrow. Ben was fine after his, I don't remember him having any reaction at all. Am dreading Noah's even more now!

Emski76 · 29/03/2012 22:14

Tad, x post. I quite often catch Ben pushing his willy down, especially first thing in the morning! Dh caught him playing with his willy the other morning while watching tv, I don't think dh knew how to handle it, I told him to ignore it unless he starts doing it in front of other people!

ILovePonyo · 29/03/2012 22:20

Ha, love the willy story tad, so funny bless him. I think fair enough re: funeral and just let her know youare there if she needs you?

emski Grin at Ben too, from what I've read on mn's embarrassing toddler thread most small boys will show you up playing with their bits in public at some point!

blizy · 30/03/2012 07:03

Morning.

Ponyo- boke!

Debka- well done!

Tad- Grin at the willy story.

ledkr · 30/03/2012 09:42

Alreeeeet! Im actually in bed childishly having the same amount of lie in time as dh had yesterday Grin I have had a bagel and big mug of tea which i shot down and got whilst dh was out with dills.

Pooh eating is a normal part of growing up i feel.Dilly has had a woodlouse yum.Yesterday she was helping dh in the garden and picked up a small grden trowel with a lump of mud on and opened her mouth as if to gobble it down,we just caught her.

wiggs Looks nice, very edgy! You look like someone i cant think who.

deb 20 is quite a normal size now.Its only 2 sizes from a 16 which is the average size.

Dh got some old pics out and i secretly cried. They were taken 5 yrs ago in Ibiza and i was about 2 stone lighter and looked so nice Sad
I am crap at diets i stick to it but cant help myself just cheating all the time, just a biscuit here and there but its sabbotages the diet.I may pm you deb for some tips.
I did get a pr of lines on yesterday that i couldnt last year so it is going, just very slowly and i think having such a massive bump means my loose skin will never go back Sad

Anyway enough self indulgence.

blizy what are you playing at girl? Stupid bodies, they fecking never do as they are told do they?

reastie Id defo see gp. Spots in the mouth sounds viral and im sure she should be affected by the jabs still.

Ella used to love hide and but couldnt hide for long so when we were looking for her would say "im not behind the curtain" haha. She plays it with dils now and dills always hide wher Ella last did.

What a fab age though isnt it?Dilly is loving her new walking skills. She literally walks all day long. Her fav game is a small bouncy ball which she throws then runs after giggling picks it up,blows a raspberry before throwing it again.
With the fab weather we are out all day in the garden.Last night after her bath i had to apply sudo cream to all the scratches and grazes she has done Grin

Ella is back today,im desperate.

americanexpat · 30/03/2012 10:27

Ponyo - boak at the poo eating (and agree with debka about the bin - WTF?!). L ate cat poo a couple months ago, couldn't figure out where the smell was coming from then was very Shock when I realised. DH said my voice became more and more frantic as I realised. His mouth got a thorough washing and I told DH that we must never tell anyone about it (which I didn't until now).

wiggles - love the hair, I had mine chopped off last Friday too. I love ON too, we go to the outlets whenever we're home. Grin

tad - She probably doesn't want the entire family descending on her at once. Can you do something nice for her in a few weeks when all the immediate support starts to taper off? Can't even imagine what she's going through, I'm getting teary just thinking about it. Sad

ledkr - I'm crap with diets too but find it much easier when I'm exercising. I literally cannot have any junk in the house, no biscuits, etc, or I'll eat it all. The worst I have is a bar of 70% dark chocolate. DH doesn't complain because he doesn't have a sweet tooth and L is used to not getting sweets at home. And Grin at getting a sneaky breakfast while DH is out. DH took L out last Saturday and I slept until 11. Shock

blizy - I was really hoping this was your month. Sad Have you heard of the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility? I found it useful getting preg with L, especially the info about cervical fluid.

I've won a copy of April's book of the month through MN. Grin I love Jeffrey Eugenides and was considering buying the book a few days ago.

RobinSparkles · 30/03/2012 11:19

Alreet? You being northern Ledkr? Wink
I have a crepey tummy too :( . My bikini days are definitely over! Curves rock though - just watching Gemma Collins from TOWIE on This Morning, it's on in the...erm...background Blush and I think she looks lovely!

Ponyo, bleurgh at the poo story! I've heard many stories of babies finger painting the walls with their poo, so you're not alone! It's never happened to me yet L likes mud though and there has been a couple of times when she's been sat chewing and I've gone to see what it was and it's been a stone! DD1 used to like books - the amount of times I changed her nappy to find half a page of Peepo Baby in her poo Blush. Never leave your baby alone with books :o

DD1 has gone to school dressed as an Alien today! They've been doing a theme on Aliens all week and today they are having an Alien party as it's the last day of term. Her "Alien" costume is actually a 4 year old Monster costume from Halloween 2008! Blush it's age 1 to 3. She looked hilarious!

Deliaskis · 30/03/2012 19:19

Hi ladies,

Just a quick hello from me. Busy busy busy week at work this week but got through it. C has been poorly though, cold and fluey stuff, teething, and then stopped eating completely. MIL took her to the docs Wed and turns out that although she was pooing, she was really constipated. She's had a couple of days of lactulose and is much better and had a good day at nursery today. Bit of a stressy week though.

tadj I read about your cousin's baby while lurking from work and wished I could have posted. My heart goes out to her and the family. How very very sad.

reastie sorry A has been poorly, it's difficult to know what to do as you know there are the jabs reactions, but then also there's a lot of tummy bugs going around at the moment. I would take her to the docs if you can, if for no other reason than to know when/if you should be doing anything about it. Feel for you tho, it's horrid when you have a day like that.

wiggles brave girl re cutting hair but it looks good! If I cut my own hair it would be a disaster!

Off to catch up on other posts.

Dx

Deliaskis · 30/03/2012 19:22

Emski lovely first day at the beach. We took C to the beach when we away in the autumn, but I think she would 'get' it more now, realise that it was different to....not-beach...!

Ponyo yeuch re poo, what posessed DH to put them in the bin in the first first place.

Deb mega congrats on the new strides, well done you.

Dx

debka · 30/03/2012 20:14

Hey there you lovely lot,

ledkr yum yum woodlouse, S will still gobble down any sequins she sees. Had a good old go at sand yesterday too! I agree it's a lovely age, she is so cuddly, which Imy never was, you ask her for a cuddle and you get one every time . More boasting coming so watch out- she said 'read' and 'row row boat' to me today (I only recognised row row boat because she grabbed my fingers and started rocking back and forth!) BTW I think I am starting to develop crepey loose skin too, looks grimmer than grim in the mirror :(

delia nice to hear from you, poor little C, glad she's better now.

expat totally agree diets are easier when exercising, gives you an extra boost I think.

I have signed up to do Race For Life in June, if any of you lovely peeps would sponsor me I'd be mucho grateful! The link is here

Four4me · 30/03/2012 20:41
