tad we have an old Renault Scenic with 2 boosters and a child seat in the back. A Vauxhall Zafira, a hatchback Ford Focus, Citroen C4 should do it as well. You should be ok as long as there are 3 seatbelts in the back.

I worded it really badly about the dress, I just couldn't be arsed changing it Grin, I'm not sure if all First Confessions take place at the same time of year. When I was doing it you used to do First Communion and First Confession in the same year but now First Communion is done a year later.

Anyway need to go and ignore Olivia, the girls have been playing out after school the past few days under the strict proviso they come in when they told and there's no screaming and crying about coming in. Needless to say O is hanging upside down on the slide refusing to come in, time to carry her in tucked under my arm and march her upstairs Blush

Sofia is off tomorrow and Monday for St Patricks Day, Olivia isn't getting off at all, her nursery is taking extra days around the Jubilee instead which is really funny if you knew where her nursery is, I would hazard a guess the Royal Family isn't held in high esteem there, well not if the graffiti and muruals are anything to go by Grin

tad yeah I go to Crazy Tykes a bit. We mainly go to Treasure Island in B/B, as it is nearer. Joseph had one of his birthday parties at crazy tykes. They love it.

wiggles I too often have the underarm accessory of a small awkward child Grin . Have tried to phone my sister it went straight to ansa phone she must be entertaining one of her new young men!!! busy.

Ok so Joseph today has decided he wants to change his name ..... To 'Splurge'. Apparently he stood up in show and tell and told the whole class to call him this from now on, who said babies were weird? Can we can all small children weird??

Four4me · 15/03/2012 20:23

blizy if you are lurking hope you are ok?? Or just too busy dtd with mrblizy!!! Grin

ILovePonyo · 15/03/2012 20:42

Evening,

Well A had her piccys taken, gah it was kind of embarrassing, she's been super clingy the last couple of weeks so she just kept crying and clinging to me wanting to be picked up Hmm Blush The lady was v good though (and patient) and we got some nice pics, good job A is photogenic unlike me! I was Shock at the price of pics though, bloody hell I don't want to say how much I have shelled out (less then the communium dress though wiggles Grin)

Shes in bed and coughing away poor love - what can you give babies for a tickly cough?

Woop not long now Four4 and wiggles! Enjoy both of you :)

Four4 splurge! Grin Whats wrong with that then?!

blizy I was wondering where you'd got to, having a life probs :)

Robin yes to spanx! I'm also knackered - A is still having a bottle in the night pain in the bum

ledkr we find it hard timing food, we hardly ever eat with A which is a shame but she also wouldn't/couldn't eat a lot of what we do. So yes to lots of 'baby dinners' here. Ella in joggers eh, hm yes from what I recall she doesn't seem like a joggers type little miss...Poor sis with baby, hope it improves soon.

Hi everyone else, am distracted watching 4 weddings, it is my new tv addiciton, I love it! And it makes me sure I don't want to get married Grin

RobinSparkles · 15/03/2012 21:16

I like four weddings Ponyo! I liked watching that and Don't Tell The Bride before me and DH got married. We didn't do anything like they do though. We went to Gretna - simple, easy and no fuss :o. CBA with planning a big do!

I'm sure the pics of A are worth it! :)

Wiggles, I often have to drag DD1 up the stairs! She's too heavy to tuck under my arm :o I get so annoyed, while she cackles with laughter!

Four4, I can see that becoming a nick name that all his friends will call him forever :o

Tonight after bath time I put L in her cot for a second while DH showed me something. I didn't intend to put her to bed just yet as the light was still on and DD1 was still playing in their room. L usually just plays or laughs at DD1 through the bars of the cot and they play. When I went back she was fast asleep! Shock I had to give her her milk in the cot while she was asleep. Fab! :o

reastie · 15/03/2012 21:18

ponyo alice has been mega clingy recently too Hmm - even screamed earlier when I left her with DH Shock . Please tell me the cost of photos so that I know what I'm in for if I get them done . Btw I love 4weddings Grin . Right, cough remedy, this sounds insane and I can't vouch for it as I've never tried it and only heard about it yesterday on a local mums fb group maybe they are playing early april fools but someone said to put vicks on their feet, then put their socks on for bed and it helps coughs. 2 people came on today to say they tried it and it worked. So please try on Anya and report back as to if they are just evil cackling at home at people stupid enough to try it if it's a miracle cure

blizy I was thinking of you today too - hope all OK and you've been quiet for productive and good reasons

Soooo tired, I'm off to bed. Night all

reastie · 15/03/2012 21:21

Btw four4 I went through a stage of instructing everyone to call me 'Ree' - it didn't last - I think self proclaimed nicknames just don't make it through time. Which reminds me, DH has started calling Alice bobbin Hmm - please will someone tell me if this is actually a dirty word as we are a bit naive about this stuff and would hate people to be all Shock and us made to go Blush if we later found out it was slang for pubes or something

ILovePonyo · 15/03/2012 21:30

Haha reastie you have just made me snort with your last comment - slang for pubes Grin Grin Bobbin sounds like a nice nickname to me :) I call A moomin and boo Hmm

Oh and... I put vicks on the soles of A's feet last night and tonight! coincidence. I do thinks it has really helped with the stuffed up nose, well she wasnt at all snotty last night so it must work. She's still coughing tho, poor thing. Photos were over £100, don't judge me - had to pay for it from the joint account! If you get some done I suggest checking prices before so you have a rough idea, I felt like a numpty when the first lot came to £400+ and I had to say "erm, noooo... much less" Grin

Robin yes gretna wedding sounds ideal :) Aw at L, that is cute - A usually screams when we put her in her cot, L must have been v tired

debka · 15/03/2012 21:38

reastie that's hilarious, I am also naive, no idea if it means anything, I think it's cute but don't listen to me, I have one daughter I call Sausage and another I call Bean Grin

Concur with the Vicks on the feet, S is slathered in the stuff tonight.

ponyo it seems such a rip off doesn't it, all that money for a few photos.

robin that's cute with L :)

Finally got the forms for Imy's nursery, she can't wait to go, I think I'll miss her though, I know Sabine will :(

RobinSparkles · 15/03/2012 21:46

Bobbin is cute Reastie!

L gets Lottie Lou and DD1 gets dids/diddy which DH calls her. It comes from when she was small, he used to call her Diddybel instead of Isabel.

RobinSparkles · 15/03/2012 21:48

:o at sausage and beans Debka! That's cute.

WeAreBorg · 16/03/2012 02:15

I can't sleep, so annoying, anyone else up? Tad?
N gets called Toots or Baba. We used to call things bobbins at school if they were rubbish, I think that was a phrase exclusive to my primary school though.
ponyo hot toddies are the only thing that work for a tickly cough. Bet A looks gorgeous in her photos, we spent loads on Ns but they are really nice.

We eat all our meals together, N won't eat unless somebody else is and it must be the same thing otherwise he just throws his plate away and grabs mine. he is getting quite dextrous with his cutlery these days.
deb well done, I wonder how it is possible to lose weight as all our meals are now quite high fat/low salt things to suit N, but obviously not so great for us.

Still wide awake, I'm going to end up spending a fortune on internet shopping aren't I?

Emski76 · 16/03/2012 06:58

Morning all!
Well, tap dancing was fab! I enjoyed it so much! The dance teacher has even convinced me to go to ballet and jazz next Monday! The dancing bug has well and truly bitten me again!

I call Ben 'Monkey' and Noah 'Bear'. Deb, I love sausage and bean, dh loves beans and sausages on toast, but v cute nicknames! Reastie, I did chuckle at your pubes comment, Bobbin is v cute too.
Four4, Splurge is fantastic nickname!
Robin, ah to L falling asleep like that, bless.

I always eat with the boysas I def find they eat better, they tend to eat what we eat.

I'm so tired this morning, was hyped up after tap last nightso didn't go to bed until midnight, then Ben was crying for me at 2am, then again at 6! I think he's a bit jealous as dh is home after being away all week. Think Ben likes being the little man of the house!

Off to dentist this morning for 2 fillings, mil is having the boys so that should be fun, not. Catch y'all later

reastie · 16/03/2012 13:59

ems I'm unsure as to whether MIL having the boys or the fillings which one is the better highlight Wink . Glad you enjoyed tap though. I hate dancing freestyle like at a party type dancing as I go all self conscious but give me an actual routine to follow at the same time as other people and I'm away Grin

ledkr when is your day at the races?

deb love sausage and beans. If you have another one my vote is for haggis Grin . Glad bobbin doesn't have some alternative meaning I wasn't sure on. borg yes now you say it I have heard of bobbins being referred to as another word for rubbish Hmm . Maybe I should stick to my usual 'cheeky' which is what I usually call alice. My sisters nn since she was tiny was noggin (I still call her nogs Grin ) which actually was very appropriate given how brainy she is

Those whose LOs have had their 1 year jabs - can a runny nose/coldy symptoms be a side effect? Just alice is sneezing/runny nose/under the weather today and I wonder if it might be jabs form monday or that she has a cold.

borg does Nate always insist on eating what is on your plate? Alice does that - it's really annoying.

blizy where are you?

blizy · 16/03/2012 15:06

I am here, I have been lurking and doing the thing of posting in my head. I have had a super busy week, my wee bro has been in hospital so just been visiting him and helping out with nephew as my sis is ill too.

I am also struggling a bit with mothers day approaching. I had a bit of a breakdown in Clintons today whislt looking to buy mothers day cards.
Anyhoo, Im off. Just been watching LA ink and muched a whole bag of bitsa wispa Blush.

tadjennyp · 16/03/2012 18:12

Sorry Borg I was teaching then. Hope you managed to get some sleep and didn't spend too much on the internet!

Thanks wiggles. Will bear that in mind when we book the car.

The nicknames are so funny, especially Splurge! S is just little Tinker at the moment.

Will be thinking of you on Mother's Day blizy. Hope everyone gets better in your family too. Hugs (and more Wispas!)

A has her first sleepover tonight with the Daisies! It's been more than 3 years since she stayed anywhere without us now. She will be with a load of other Daisies (Rainbows) in a church hall. I'm sure she'll be fine! Confused

Hope bedtime is going well.

reastie · 16/03/2012 21:37

Gosh it's all quiet on here tonight isn't it

Just watched the last episode of 'roger and val have just got in' and blubbed so much at the ending - absolutely love that show Grin

Btw anyone with csections - does your scar still hurt every now and again? Mine is really uncomfortable tonight - might be as I did some sit ups yesterday Shock and whenever I try doing tummy exercises it feels like my scar will spilt in two (obv it won't, it's prob just as my muscles are so far gone) Hmm

tad I was all Hmm about what on earth dasies were until you said

blizy glad you're OK, well, you know what I mean. Hope you get through the week end OK - it must feel like one thing after another to get through at the minute Sad .

debka · 17/03/2012 09:35

Morning all,

Have you got plans for Mother's Day tomorrow? I have been an absolute mug and am hosting everyone (mum, dad, 2 sisters and their DHs) at my house. I have a big table but the tiniest kitchen- only 2 hob rings Shock. Anyway, sis1 is bringing drinks, sis2 is bringing pudding (betyou anything she buys it), and me, who is a MOTHER of TWO CHILDREN am cooking the main course, hosting, and clearing up afterwards.

blizy hope DH does something nice for you tomorrow :)

reastie well impressed at sit ups, I don't do anything like that! DH's appendix scar still hurts sometimes and he had it out 22 years ago Confused. BTW DH calls me Pea (was short for SweetPea but after 7 years of marriage the 'sweet' prefix has been quietly dropped Grin)

Haven't heard from ledkr for a while, do you think she's gambled DH, the house and DCs on the horses? Grin

borg we all have sw dinners but the girls have full fat milk and yoghurt Envy

ledkr · 17/03/2012 10:48

Hi all. Well im back from the races,we honstly had the best time ever.Have a plethera of hilarious stories but will post later as meant to be getting dressed and we have to go out.

reastie Since dilly the right side of my scar is slightly raised and red,it gets a bit itchy not helped by the bloody overhang Blush

blizy Poor you,its such a commercialised load of bollox tbh,ill just be on my own as dh has work,so if you need a good online whinge ill be here with ledkr hugs xx

re sausages and beans.I gave some to D the other day,2 seconds later i heard 4 dull thuds.I looked around and saw that 4 sausages had hit the deck and she was busy tucking into her beans. Obviously doesnt like them then Hmm

ledkr · 17/03/2012 10:50

deb I WON ON THE GOLD CUP BTW so hubby, house and kids are safe.......for now. Grin

ledkr · 17/03/2012 17:12

Where are you all??

Last nights antics included.

Jumped around quite a lot behind John Macruick whilst he was live on tv Blush

Made peacock noises at a posh woman in a big feathered hat Grin

Had a footy game in the town centre with some lads. Wearing laboutins.

Took my stool back off a bloke who nicked it when i went to toilet causing a near riot.

Went into superdrug drunk to buy nasal spray and telling the staff who offered us a free sample of Christina Aguilara perfume that "she smells of fish"

Telling the burger king staff in a panicky way that there were "people eating" in the closed section. Also calling all the staff by name (on their badges)

"Can i have a double cheese burger,a vodka and coke and a battered sausage please Billy"
"We dont sell alcohol or sausages madame" says Billy. Hmm

Dancing like eejits to the various Irish bands in the pubs.

Told the bouncer at a club we didnt have to pay as we were lap dancers for the blind Grin

Ringing the wrong husband to collect us at midnight????? Grin He still came and got us btw.

I have surprisingly got no hangover but have been eating like a pig. Cheese toasty, cakes and chocolate

Emski76 · 17/03/2012 17:49

Ledkr, Ledkr, Ledkr, shaking head in disappointment, drunken antics and a mother of 5, shame on you.
Am only slightly jealous!

ledkr · 17/03/2012 17:55

Grin Ds 2 (misery) said he saw me and my mate hopping about to a busker and he said he laughed like he hadnt for years haha.

ledkr · 17/03/2012 17:56

tad how was the sleepover

ILovePonyo · 17/03/2012 21:24

Just popping in, ledkr "lap dancers for the blind" Grin Grin would love to be a fly on the wall for your antics! Sounds like a great time.

Blizy nice to see you Wink ignore mothers day tomo too I say, just a reason for clintons to sell more tat.

Am watching walking dead from last night so better go, ooh A had slept better past 2 nights phew, still waking at 6 though the bugger Grin
