bb3 you must be relatively good to still have coins and selection boxes still in your house. dont think they made it to jan 1st in this house!

put eva back on her front to see if she would do it again (phoned mum and 1 st thing she said, was it a fluke- umph) she was looking in her mirror for a while and i took a few pictures and then she had her head down and started moaning. when i looked, she had been sick and was lying face down in it! poor mite.

just feeding her in bed and then off to sleep.

penguin i never noticed you overly posted -welcome back. x
i have bouts of constant posting and then i go missing for a few days/weeks.

night everyone.

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 22/01/2012 22:59

Welcome back PA kids are good now except mhairi now either has a growth spurt or my milk has dropped not sure which but she's back to 2 hourly feeds during the night Sad

Not sure about a third fleecy head says no heart says yes Grin time will tell?!?!
Practically I can't afford any more as I would need a bigger house/car/double buggy etc.

Managed to do my charity walk yesterday was bloody cold!!! Then went to the carvery and literally ate so much I felt sick till bedtime Blush I'll post a pic on FB.

Hope everyone is well and has good night, welcome to newbies

LittlePebble · 22/01/2012 22:59

penguin welcome back Grin I was wondering where you were at end of last thread, we missed you!

LittlePebble · 22/01/2012 23:01

Jnice · 23/01/2012 00:07

Thanks for the sympathy everyone! I think I overreacted a bit Blush

Thing is I'm so frustrated because its been 3 weeks and he's no better. His reflux isn't terrible, not enough for medicine. He just throws up so much and gets upset after feeds, needing to be held upright.

penguin - welcome back!

Well done Eva for rolling, no sign of it here.

Scheherezade · 23/01/2012 06:01

Jnice, that was happening to C, he was chucking up all the time. Have you tried infacol?

How's everyones nights been? 1and 6am feeds here, I miss the days of him sleeping through so much. Fx he's easier to pit back down than yesterday.

BB3 · 23/01/2012 06:43

Schec we are 1&5 for Ayse-Rose, Edith-May goes through til six but wakes up for snuggles around 2ish (bad habit but I don't mind at the moment!) I miss sleep so very much though, ds was a not a great sleeper and didn't sleep through for ages so I'm hoping girls are better!

Jnice · 23/01/2012 07:13

sche I haven't tried unfavorable, I will see if it's available here. I did use it with
ODS when we were in England.

Was it you talking about launch pads and shining the sink? Trying it out and looking forward to a relatively relaxed Monday morning. Fingers crossed!

Sleeping was great the last 2 nights, L slept through to 6ish each night. He does tend to do good nights in 2's, it's happened before then he reverts to a feed at 2/3 ish, 5 and then up at 7. We shall see tonight, it's 11ish and time for bed.

'Morning to all you Brits Wink

Jnice · 23/01/2012 07:14

...and Europeans too, we have some on the continent don't we?

CheshireDing · 23/01/2012 07:16

Congratulations Pebble on the 7 hours, very Envy

Bit rubbish again last night with P. I think she woke at midnight, 2.30am, 4.30 -6.30am (this was a 2 hour stretch lay on my chest so at least I got the sleep too)

It's made worse when I have had rubbish/little sleep to go on fb and see pics of my friend who has just emmigrated on the beach, bah humbug

EdwardorEricCantDecide · 23/01/2012 08:01

I've just watched watership down with Christopher, love that film I'm a bit worried though christopher's favourite parts are the bits with the ghost rabbit Confused think my boy is morbid?

LittlePebble · 23/01/2012 08:08

Oh Cheshire fx she will sleep better soon.

Eli has obviously decided to get the hang of sleeping now, he went 8hrs last night! Shock

Bb3 and tally, I'm in south Devon.

Jnice hope you get a good nights sleep.

welcome back PA

Sounds like a great Sunday bb3. I second what sassy said - how can you still have Christmas chocloate left?!

Sleep tight Janice . Yep, I'm on the continent (The Netherlands).

No rolling here (14 weeks).

Spent ages last night on the flylady site wondering whether I can be bothered (but knowing that I really should).

emmazed · 23/01/2012 08:37

How exciting fd and sassy. It is amazing seeing the progress, is has only been a few weeks since they were born

jnice I thought you meant the choc bar as well! I was trying to imagine what your tea was that it had it in!

Feel so tired today. Have no excuse/reason as only a bit of crying in the night. I think it is 7am starts for the past month or so. I am not good at early starts.

FuzzzyDuck · 23/01/2012 08:46

Another night of disturbed sleep here too. I don't know what it is. She isn't waking up fully, just very unsettled through the night. Its starting to go through my head that I'm talking in my sleep or something and therefor waking her Confused who knows! I'm not having to pick her up, just popping dummy back in and she is back to sleep. Yawn....

Scheherezade · 23/01/2012 08:46

Know what you mean Emma I got so used to having a lie in every day when pg!

Penelope1980 · 23/01/2012 08:53

Hello ladies, I've just come back from holiday and sorry if I can't catch up on the thread! Hope all is well - we had a good time away, am getting used to car trips with a baby now we have done it twice. Back home now though ...

Am impressed with those of you running, I have decided I need to start eating better - weight loss has stopped so now I am aware what was the baby weight as opposed to what's left - the weight from all the pregnancy pies and chocolate! Maybe I'll get out for a walk tomorrow.

Jnice didn't realise you were in Vancouver, DH and I were talking about Vancouver recently as a place we hope to visit at some point in the next few years. Not sure if we will though, I really would love to return to the UK but can't see it happening this year Sad

Does anyone else's babies bang their feet at night? Amotai does it quite a lot - it's really loud, he thumps them while he's asleep and when he's tired. I think it's a settling thing, but am not sure

Penelope1980 · 23/01/2012 08:55

scheh and em I am crap at early mornings as well - I NEVER used to be up before 7.30! Think that is also why I get so tired

strawberrypenguin · 23/01/2012 08:55

Hi to the new ladies, I joined late too so your not alone Grin Yay for all the rolling, I think we're getting close here he just hasn't quite got the shoulder bit right! Still not sleeping through here either, I think it's because he won't take more than 4 oz a time and sometimes less than that so is still getting hungry in the night.

Scheherezade · 23/01/2012 09:11

Haha, look at us all complaining about sleep, bloody inconsiderate babies!

Decided cba today, he's done 20 mins on the mat, just laid on my lap and I'm going to read to him. He rolls to the side and back, but his main trick is pulling himself up, he's trying to sit up. No doubt going to be a bum shuffler!

MamaMaiasaura · 23/01/2012 09:38

Imms due today. Shea got a bit of her brothers cold so don't know whether to take her.

Scheherezade · 23/01/2012 11:07

Maybe ring up to check with the nurse?

I got all emotional last night at the thought of having to stop bf. It's just so lovely and wonderful I don't ever want to stop :( it was after watching call the midwife, the poor girl who has to stop bf when her baby was taken off her.

How far was the car journey Penelope ? We do 1.5 hours once a week-2weeks and he's always been great. Am Envy of the holiday break!

BB3 · 23/01/2012 11:29

Mama if she has a temp they won't do it bit otherwise should be fine if just a cold x

Engelsmeisje · 23/01/2012 11:32

mama M had a sniffle/snotty nose when he had his 2nd round of injections and they said it was fine (as long as no temperature).

BB3 · 23/01/2012 11:33

Scheh I have mixed feelings about bf ending, I keep saying I'm going to reduce it down to nothing over time but when it cones to giving them the extra bottle of formula I never can bring myself to do it. I am tired and finding the two really hard but it's still a wrench to actually give up. I said I wanted to bf then until 6 months and they're already over 4 Sad
