Ledkr your dh is fairly cute however seeing you up the duffster in a bikini!! Keep reminding him he's totally punching above his weight
My shred arrives tomorrow eeek

Emski76 · 23/05/2011 13:05

Ledkr, idid about 10 minutes shredding yesterday afternoon, Noah laughed at me doing star jumps! He doesn't laugh at me usually bur apparently mummy jumping up and down is funny!
Jane, a piper for your wedding sounds lovely. I too imagined you with short dark hi.
Am loving all your pics. Ledkr, your dh, yum. Your a lucky girl!
Have been trying o upload more pics but stupid mn keeps failing it!
Talking of animals and maritals, when we were trying for Ben I looked up and saw our cat leaning up onto the bed watching us! Felt quite embarrassed at the cat seeing mummy and daddy at it!
Just been to Asda with Noah, he chatted up the till lady there who felt the need to tell me about her boyfriend who may or may not have fathered a child with an ex. She was lovely but I did feel a bit uncomfortable. I only popped in to get some bits and spent £85!! Didn't help that they had deal on Stella, and i do like a bottle of beer of an evening!
Noah did well again last night, woke for feed at 11pm then woke at 6am, I think because his blackout cover fell off his window.
It's really windy here too, am hoping to go for a walk with Noah later, but afraid I might get blown away!

wigglesrock · 23/05/2011 13:27

Emski76 sympathies with Asda and the oversharing, when I did a pregnancy test with Sofia, I only bought one, because I couldn't believe it - had given up hope Sad, I went to Tescos with Mr W and we got another one, the woman at the checkout was really nosy - "oh well, is it congratulations, or not" etc, really inappropriate, in normal circumstances would have told her in no uncertain terms to piss away off but we were both in a slight state of shock Grin

I have not ordered the Shred... yet. The ash cloud is not going to worry me one little bit, we got the last flight out of Belfast last year and I am refusing to believe that history can almost repeat itself. 3 weeks and 1 day to go or in Olivia speak 21 more sleeps mummy until IIIIIIIbiza Grin

Have been out to get some shopping and drop Olivia to playgroup, don't go out if you can help it, its horrible, could barely open the car door.

wigglesrock · 23/05/2011 13:29

american Leo is yummy, he has gorgeous features esp his eyes. Leo was going to be Sofias name Grin

debka · 23/05/2011 14:23

ledkr can't really see you in the bikini, I held the laptop right up to my face an all! Your DH is a dish (as my mum would say) (and probably you to hahahah Grin).

reastie that pic of you in the snow- there is one of me looking EXACTLY the same, except not pg... Grin

emski glad Noah is doing a bit better at night now, let's hope it stays that way.

Think S is catching up on sleep a bit after her feedathon yesterday, she slept for 2.5hrs this morning, I had to wake her up as we were going out, and I just had to put her down again after only 1 hour of being awake.

led you keep D awake from 4pm through to bedtime at 7? How??? S can manage at the very most 2 hours awake, do you have to distract her and rock her about a lot?

reastie · 23/05/2011 14:25

wiggles you WILL get to ibiza Wink (still sing 'woah we're going to ibiza' after you said that ages ago Grin )

ems Shock at checkout lady. I'm so glad the night was better though Grin

Just had my telephone assessment for phobia therapy apparently I'm beyond help serverely anxious and depressed according to a questionnaire I had to do Confused . Think the depressed one only came up because I ticked I was very tired all the time and had trouble sleeping (which is due to a baby that won't sleep as opposed to being depressed). I am an anxious mess though if truth be told. Anyway, it means I qualify for therapy anyway Hmm :)

lol at animals seeing 'action' between us and DHs. When I first new DH he lived in his own place with his two cats (I know, Hmm ). They were always faffing about ON THE BED when we were, ahem, Wink Wink ing and trying to get attention from us. It really put me off and felt just wrong but didn't bother DH at all Shock Hmm

reastie · 23/05/2011 14:26

oh deb you'll have to share that one of you in the snow now so i can compare :)

debka · 23/05/2011 14:54

I'll try and get on DH's computer, it's on his, and post it. We're even wearing similar clothes!

OP posts:
ledkr · 23/05/2011 17:02

reastieI just do what i can to keep her going, she has a naked kick about 6 then bath at 6.30 dont forget i have Ella to cart her around Grin
How funny,Dh lived with his 2 cats when i met him,his ex had moved out but he had temporary custody,I loved him so ridiculously the day we met that i thought i was mentally ill Hmm When he went to meet the x for access visits to said cats i used to be nearly sick in case they got back together.
Was so glad when she finally took them.

ElleB1980 · 23/05/2011 19:37

Evening!

Well I slept dreadfully in our spare bed in R's room...I hope guests don't have similarly bad sleep. R slept peacefully in her cot 8-8 (with wriggling from 6:30am). I managed about 3 hours total so am exhausted.

I've just spent 30m trying to upload photos on to here but Mumsnet keeps kicking me off too Emski but i wasn't sure if it was our computer. Will have to try again tomorrow.

Irishqueen I heart Maeve's hair (and her name), R has fluff at the moment but she's going to be a ginger like me I think. Mine's got a lot darker with age though and I'll kill any kids who tease her because of it.

My Shred arrived this morning ledkr but I was out eating cake...I did relent and put it on this afternoon though and R sat and giggled at me jumping up and down. She too is a fan of the star-jumping mummy!

wigglesrock · 23/05/2011 19:44

Elle and Emski when I was trying to add photos, Mumsnet kept failing when I tried to upload some of the photos the photographer at my sisters wedding took, don't know if it was the resolution or something else Hmm, I of course look much better in those touched up ones Grin.

MizK · 23/05/2011 19:48

ledkr 1st day of shred here. Was horrid. Esp the bicycle crunches, euw. God 29 more shreds and I expect to have abs you can bounce a penny off or I will be cross with Jillian. The thought of progressing to level 2 or 3 is frankly laughable right now!
Hope you all had nice days and lets all have 12 hour sleeps from our babies tonight.....

ILovePonyo · 23/05/2011 20:20

Oh dear, my shred hasn't arrived yet, next few days I reckon, I am not looking forward to it, I suppose the only good thing is that it might amuse dd seeing me jumping around like a lunatic.

I think I just missed the window for getting her to bed, she was all sleepy but I was trying to get her to have more milk, then when I put her to bed she was wide awake and fussing the little bugger Grin Had to resort to putting dummy in which I don't like doing at night, and can hear her making a noise again now. Hmmm...

I am loving all the photo sharing, ledkr the pic of you in a bikini is fab, I think pg women look great in bikins, am a bit gutted I never got the chance to actually. Next time!
And american L is very cute, that is such a good photo :) byroni you look fab too, bit jel actually Grin Oh and another Grin at me looking 12 MizK

jane you said you need to get your finger out for your wedding, can you not just let reastie do it all?! I have a feeling she wouldn't mind... Still on DOTD reastie Wink

janedoe25 · 23/05/2011 20:38

ponyo i would gladly allow reastie to take over wedding plans Grin

The weather here is crazy, we have 70 -100mph winds, there are trees and branches all over the roads, trampolines flying about and my bloody fence has been ripped up Angry Only saving grace is that the wee cherry blossom tree we planted for Zoe is still in place!

wigglesrock · 23/05/2011 20:57

Jane Oh hold on Zoe's tree xx Terrible here too, I went to pick up Sofia from school bus and a tree had fallen across the road. Before i could utter wtf, 3 men popped up with chainsaws Hmm and started chopping the tree up, I was parked in a layby at the bus stop and the whole thing was strangely fascinating, they loaded most of the trunk into a dodgy looking van and drove off but not before they took a brush from the van and swept up most of the debris. It was really bizarre, so the morale of this story is if anyone knocks on your door offering some cheap logs they're probably dodgy Grin Oh and the girls slide blew across the garden almost decapitating the dog Blush.

So seeing as you brought up the wedding Wink, what's your numbers, where's the reception, are you having favours (my sister got hers from a website, don't think they were that dear), are you having bridesmaids etc? I think I'm starting to get over the trauma that was my sisters' wedding Grin

JustOneMorePlease · 23/05/2011 21:04

Loving looking at your photos. Tried to put some up of us but having some tech problems (doesn't take much)!

ledkr I completely understand your worries about smear, I like some of the others have had a couple of abnormal results and have had two colposcopies and Letts procedures. Thinking of you. Also can't remember if I mentioned in the past that my friend had a baby in Jan with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Well he had his lip surgery (and some of the palate) last week. I saw them today and he looked amazing. It all went smoothly and they are delighted. I know Dilly has just the cleft palate but thought you'd like to know. He goes back for some more of the palate done later in the year.

Fingers crossed emski looks like Noah is starting to get the nights sorted!!

Going back to try and crack putting the photos on for you to look at!

reastie · 23/05/2011 21:20

Oh yes jane I'll plan the whole thing Grin Wink . Just a bit dissapointed you live so far away so I can't pass on details of people like the fabulous florist I had. I'm hoping to overhaul my piccies with different wedding ones which are photofrapher taken - like wiggles says - they are much better - let me know when you get those on wiggles Grin . Oh - all important question - are you planning a honeymoon? (my services stretch to holidays Wink )

Got v v excited as alice giggled properly for first time today - was so cute and was so pleased as she did it when DH was bouncing her (in a new way I discovered she esp likes). DH was so excited I've never seen him so pleased/proud - made me feel so happy :)

reastie · 23/05/2011 21:23

and for clarity I was asking Jane about honeymoon not wiggles - sorry wiggles, but, you do have paris to look forward to Grin

windy here too - not a good idea to walk down the road wearing a flouncy dress which tends to blow up in the wind Blush Confused

I'm feeling really rather :( - I am no longer DOTD - oh well, was fun while it lasted Wink

ledkr · 23/05/2011 21:40

justonemorethanks for that, the more people that say they have had it the better i feel, its usually me reassuring others re breast cancer, Your friends baby must be quite young still,Dilly was born in Jan,they wont do it here untill after 6 months. Your boys are dead handsome, where's the baby?
Ladies shredding,it gets easier around day 4 you can suddenly do more.i hate the jumping rope one but by the time i do it at the end i can jump high for the whole time.
Dilly has been bit grumpy today, maybe her bad night Hmm She gets harder and harder to settle at night too, falls asleep feeding but then wakes up as soon as we put her down then you have to start again,it takes ages.Any suggestions,i just cant spend an hr and a half every night putting her to sleep.
I have nearly booked Paris, its going to kill me leaving D but it will be so good for me and Ella to have some time alone, she was so excited when i told her.

ledkr · 23/05/2011 21:43

reastie the giggles are amazing arent they? I cant remember which film it is but i saw it with Ella and in it they say a fairy is made from a babys laugh.

ElleB1980 · 23/05/2011 22:00

ledkr I appear to have the incredible sleeping baby at night time. We use White noise to get her to sleep - the one I have one my phone is Ocean Waves. It just seems to zone her out and she drops to sleep pretty quickly, we usually take it from her after about 30m.

My legs are already aching from the Shred...and I did go for a run yesterday so hoping to be a size 10 by Thursday Wink

JustOneMorePlease · 23/05/2011 22:17

Yeah I think I've cracked the photos, only taken two hours. I have a lovely one of dd1 but it won't bloody upload. It's a good job I'm better at being a mum and a physio than I am on the computer!

Going to change my name to Four4me.

Four4me · 23/05/2011 22:19

Done, I think!!!!!!!

Four4me · 23/05/2011 22:20

Forgot to say that I've been reading the Madeleine book. Is anyone else? If so what do you think?

ledkr · 23/05/2011 22:38

I darent say four, they flame you on here,The only thing i ever thought was the week after she was taken i took 3 dc;s to Ibiza on my own for 2 weeks and managed to have a great holiday without having to leave them alone,im sure as a single parent of the working class variety the press would have slaughtered me tho. I read some exerts from the book and had abit more sympathy when she said that the hotel offered the baby listening service which was pretty much as they had done.It is truly heartbreaking tho, poor little girl.
elles dd pretty much goes for the 12 hrs once she is down the arseing about at bedtime is new. I can hear her on the monitor wriggling about and grunting roll on 6 months, its like trying to sleep in the high street on a saturday Hmm
