Morning, well dd slept until 7.45 this morning, result! Good job too as I stayed up watching Orphan, thought it was ok not scary though.

We're using condoms too at the moment, but am looking into the mini pill which is safe while bf. Apparently you can get it online... or bribe a pharmacist here into ordering it. I'll see what I can do!
ledkr I too want to know what films scare you... I thought orphan was quite good! Have you seen that Spanish film 'Rec'? Everyone was on about it, so we watched it last Halloween. It's a long build up to one scary moment, but by gum it's a good'un. I think they are making a Hollywood version.

Morning all, had a better night last night, thanks for the sleepy baby vibes, although they only worked after 10pm as she woke up then , then 3.30 then 7.30. Imy however seems to have woken tired and screamy. Sigh.

oh deb I found the ring scary too (the japanese version that is). japanese horror films have such storylines - you die after watching a video, or, in the case of another I saw, you get killed after receiving a phamtom mobile phone call . I quite like to watch rec byron. I saw a film a while ago about someone being buried alive, forget what it's called but it's quite recent. The whole hour or so was real time him waking up after being buried alive. That's it. Him, in a coffin. I thought it would never work but it sort of hooked me in in an odd way.

Laides - have been meaning to ask you this since sat - AIBU to expect when buying a second hand changing bag for the previous owner to have at least given it a superficial clean? . Maybe I just shouldn't get one second hand but got a lovely cath kidston on from gumtree this week end (too pricey for me otherwise) but was really that it was mucky and still had crumbs/general dirt on it. Also really dissapointed that she said it was very good condition but it has rips from use in the wipeable lining, the arm strap needs a bit of sewing as the thread is starting to undo and looks in general quite worn, If I had been told it was a useable but worn condition then fine, but very good condition?! Feel really quite about it - I need ledkr to come down and chase the owners as I'm way too shy - I don't mind using it as is, just feel a bit like I was expecting better from what she said.

reastie - I am leaning towards a diaphragm but have to get to the family planning clinic to get it sorted. I was put off by the heavy periods with a copper coil too. Are you comfortable getting, er, "hands on" with yourself for inserting it?

L was OK last night but fed on and off from 5 to 10 this morning. Is there anyway I can encourage him to eat more during the day so he's not up so often during the night? I really struggle to get him to eat during the day because he's so interested in what's happening around him (even when we're at home on the sofa). He gets BF then I offer a bottle which he usually won't take, sometimes he'll take an oz or two in an hour. At night, he's up at least every 3 hours, BFs for 30 minutes or so then downs 3 oz of formula. He had 3 oz at 7 this morning, woke up while I was making a bottle at 10 (he acted like he was hungry) but hasn't touched it. He's almost 14 weeks, I'd like a bit more sleep at night now.

Dh was in work late and wandered out into the shredding room to "make his lunch" (kitchen open onto shred room) i told him to feck off an all.watching me look stupid.
Well Dilly was a nobber last night.Woke at 11.30 just as i went to bed.She had reflux so gave meds,but my daughter thinks if she is awake then she needs milk to go back to sleep so gave a bottle,eventually dh rocked her to sleep by 1.15 then she woke us up at 5 to be miserable and growl at me when i tried to cuddle her,i got up in the end fuming.
I have seen rec byron both versions very good. I like zombie films mostly romero,also vampire films too,not too keen on slasher or torture films tho i prefer fantasy.We watch alot of spanish films cos we are learning spanish and we think we are cool but still need subtitles and can hear the odd word or phrase.
Dd has been shouting and squealing for ages now its tres annoying,i think baby reastie has been doing it a while too.She also wakes up before shes ready and is then a right misery

american re: cap/coil - my deicsion has been made - I needed a non latex cap as my skin reacts to latex and apparently fp clinic can't do this easily (long story won't bore you) so have booked a coil fitting late next month . Still might back out though as v scared - once tried pre preg to have one fitted before but they couldn't do it as my cervix too tight - since I never got into labour and had a csec they might have trouble again . Will need to take DH with me for moral support I think

v bored as stuck upstairs again as kitchen fitters downstairs and trying to keep out of the way. Alice asleep on the bed next to me - she's suc a sweetie today :)

Can I quickly bitch about my DP? He KNOWS I am desperately trying to lose weight (26 pounds left to go) so kindly left a multipack of Snickers bars in the fridge. I asked him to take them to work as I have a weakness for them, and he sanctimoniously said 'you'll just have to be more determined and resist them.' Hence I've just eaten one dipped into a cup of tea. Twat!
V windy and horrid today so will be mning, and watching crap TV all day instead of cleaning.

We want a band, we are both into music in a big way but we can't afford one so will be settling on the DJ provided by the venue. God i so need to get my finger out and organise/plan stuff
