Hello I'm back to lovely London
Had a very lovely holiday, we stayed in a fishing town which had amazing fish restaurants and markets. The weather was mainly good but too windy for sunbathing on the beach. It was a bit like being sandblasted, or as I would imagine being sandblasted. J loved it though so we made lots of sandcastles and looking for crabs. He had a great time being thoroughly entertained by his silly Uncles and Nanny and Granddad.
So glad to have missed all the rioting fun
Our area was the one protected by members of the local public and the EDL, not a huge fan of EDL to say the least but I'm glad our High St was saved. My brother's flat was in the midst of it and his local pub, chinese and chippie have been smashed up. Thankfully the flat is fine, and his beloved motorbike. We heard about it on the radio, it sounded bloody awful. I'm glad CF and HP are ok. It just amazes me that people could be that stupid and selfish. I'm all for protesting and standing up for what you believe in but not mindless violence, destruction and theft.
Anyway happier news- Congratulations Ekka
Your little boy looks gorgeous. I hope you are all getting some sleep and enjoying the new addition to your family.

I've never been to Scotland but really want to plan a trip there. The scenery in your pics is beautiful. I've never done IOW either, would you recommend it CSWS?
Am shattered so off to watch a bit of tv and then bed. We spent most of the day travelling. We missed our ferry because we were too busy buying last minute cheese in the supermarket
so had to wait another 2 hours for next one. Dh was fuming. It's my family's general go slow approach
