BibiBelle · 06/11/2010 08:28

hippy, hope you're feeling better today dah-ling

blueberryboybait · 06/11/2010 08:35

Morning all

Can anyone explain why DH is still sleeping, DD2 is still sleeping,DD1 nad I have been up since 7? Tomorrow DH has to leave here at 8am to head for TopGear in London so apparently I can sleep in then because he has to get up anyway?? So I can lie in bed listening to him thump about, come in 57 times to ask where certain items of clothing are, let DD1 run up and down outside our room yelling. Then I have to get up and deal with the girls alone all day, which is my own fault for not wanting to take them shopping in London with MIL, until he drops in at 9pm wanting dinner!

Hippy sorry you are not well, hope you are feeling okay this morning.

Enya - hope trip goes okay nad 'h' behaves himself.

Bibi - Pop the girls over here for a bit :)

to everyone else.

Silkstalkings · 06/11/2010 09:31

Morning, DH has given me a repreive from crackodawn swim lessons so I now have bright red hair, looks v goth. Have perked up since spending most of Wed and Thurs crying about anything and everything - think it was my cycle again, I seem to go to pieces around cd21/22.

I'm in for Secret Santa. That reminds me I was going to get some fleece sleepsuits for all the kids for Xmas, will have a look on Ebay in a mo.

Family visit to Historic Romsey today to trawl the better class of charity shopGrin and set up some provisions for ILs. MIL having major foot surgery (toes broken and reset or something) today and FIL can just about heat soup.

Merlion · 06/11/2010 10:31

If anyone wants 30% Gap voucher let me know as I have one valid till 14th.

Yesterday a public holiday here for Deepavali but I had to work all day as not managed to recruit anyone yet and that team supports Hong Kong where it isn't a holiday. DS and DH had a lovely if very busy day. They went to the aquarium in the morning on a boat trip followed by soft play in the afternoon. I met them in a pub having fish and chips together. DS wanted Daddy to put him to bed too.

Silk glad you are feeling better.

Hippy hope you're feeling better today

BBBB Top Gear I am jealous!

Enya good luck for your trip

ScreamingTerror · 06/11/2010 13:03

BibiBelle · 06/11/2010 15:02

Silkstalkings · 06/11/2010 16:23

Bibi YESSSSS! are they doing adult ones too?Blush

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 06/11/2010 19:40

Evening all :) DH doing bedtime so I am happily on the sofa engrossed in sparkly Saturday night telly. Feeling a bit pants today what with all the uncertainty - are we moving away or not? Am I going to change career/be a SAHM or not? Will I get pregnant or not? I hate being in limbo.

Hope you are all feeling much cheerier than me!

BibiBelle · 06/11/2010 19:52

yes silky - adult ones too Smile

Star - fecking foul mood here too Blush DH on really shitty shifts (5pm-4am) so sleeping then up and away and the girls are driving me bonkers. Also have my period so definately not pregnant Sad

sorry - haven't done much to cheer you up have I Blush am honking of garlic or I'd offer you a snog Grin

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 06/11/2010 20:02

I'll take whatever I can get, Bibi Grin Sorry to hear of the curse, mine is just finishing up now yet still I contemplated POAS earlier Hmm ffs.

[solidarity hug]

blueberryboybait · 06/11/2010 20:09

Lordy - we must all be cycling together!! I got my first period since DD2 was born this morning - no wonder I have been so snappy with DH this week.

UrsulaUndress · 06/11/2010 20:11

Star didn't realise you were thinking of moving away!

Sorry everyone feels crap, apart from those planning to buy fleecy suits of course!

Boybait, you outdid us on the rugby pitch! Well done

ds1 watching X Factor - vom vom vom - however cosy fire and sleeping ds2 herald peaceful evening with papers.

Bibi great news you might be coming over!

BibiBelle · 06/11/2010 20:33

All very early days Ursula - I haven't had my annual leave approved yet and probably won't till Jan Hmm

BibiBelle · 07/11/2010 08:01

Morning all surely must be my turn for brekker, it's been a while Blush Freezing up here so something warm I think. Who's for scrambled eggs on toast? My only other offering is Toast with apple jam. Tesco required later on then!

Monsters Inc on already as girls have had me up from stupid o'clock. E apparently fell out of bed on top of L Confused At some point after DH got home last night he pulled out the guest bed underneath E for L to sleep on - I never heard a thing Blush Shall have to let him sleep today as a reward now!

ScreamingTerror · 07/11/2010 11:45

Time changed last night and the kids are ignoring the extra hour of sleep reward.Angry Thankfully they are ruining the house without my help. Neither has come in to say good morning or "I need ." The tv is on a little too loud and I could do without the buzz lightyear gun.

I guess our next thread should be called Cycle Sisters. Mine hasn't started YET but I'm crabby as a bad apple so I know it's only hours away. Maybe it got lost in the time change.Hmm

More vacation details... I have booked us for a day at Discovery Cove. I am going to swim with dolphins. DD1 is going to be thrilled hopefully. With the reservation comes complementary passes to SeaWorld so guess where else we are going.Wink There's so much preplanning and prework required to make a trip like this go smoothly. I think I'm done now though. I'll still continue to read the blogs and information sites so I can be completely "in the know". Despite my bad mood this planning thing has been uber-exciting!

Bibi, I'd like eggs on toast please.Smile

ScreamingTerror · 07/11/2010 13:44

Dirty eggs with toast!! Sorry Bibi. Couldn't wait.Wink

Silkstalkings · 07/11/2010 14:32

God I love my parents. Not only are they paying for a massive family holiday in France next summer (16 of us in total), they have now offered to drive one each of me and DBro's 6 kids down with them earlier. This would make it cheaper for us to fly down there but my dad and BIL would be able to provide an airport taxi service too. DH & I have never driven abroad and had been bricking ourselves at the thought of the Mystery Machine breaking down there. I am SO lucky to have such thoughtful, clever, capable and LOCAL parents, never let me move away!

ScreamingTerror · 07/11/2010 14:34

AWESOME NEWS SILKY!!! Do they want to adopt a few more?Wink

BibiBelle · 07/11/2010 14:45

Envy silky - well done you. I wouldn't mind a useful anyone within 100miles

ShineyHappyHair · 07/11/2010 15:11

Hey gals Grin, apologies for the state of me with my hair half dyed Blush but I know you lot won't mind!

ursula it was my dneice who mistakenly said cockporn instead of popcorn Grin

Cold ish her bb but I doubt it's anywhere near as cold as yours [brrrr]

Nice hair silky and great news on next years holiday. Glad you have such nice parents Smile

star where you thinking of moving to?

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 07/11/2010 16:30

We want to go back down south and be nearer our families/friends - parents are not getting any younger, etc. - but for now we're just waiting to see how the economy shakes down before making any serious moves. I have achieved better serenity today :) helped by a lovely walk in the Peak District with DH and DS.

BibiBelle · 07/11/2010 16:59

I've no idea what's going on with D today - she's fecking miserable and has been since yesterday DH took her and L out for a walk with the dog to give me 5 minutes peace and DD1 walked in the door 2 seconds later home from her party! DH arrived back 3 minutes later with misery in tow and no happier Hmm

I've spent the afternoon sorting out the girl's wardrobe. There was absolutely NO point in hanging E's skirts and dresses up on L's wardrobe at all - they're gong to have to wait on D Grin

Star -well done on the cobweb blowing walk Smile we wrangled time and time and time again about moving home when mum was ill but it just wasn't worth it. We wouldn't be able to afford a garden shed never mind a house near the sea and the schools would be shoddy at best. On a more selfish note we wouldn't have got any more help with the girls and would have left all our pals behind. Hence we stayed and spent a fortune in petrol instead! It always unsettles me a bit coming and going. Then again with nobody speaking to me yet there isn't any point in me going anymore Hmm

DH is now walking round the house sighing so I suppose that's my 5 minutes up Biscuit

enyahadenough · 07/11/2010 17:38
