BibiBelle · 05/10/2010 10:38

morning all, had hellish night with DD3 who decided to start shouting on everyone in the middle of the night, brought her in with us where she proceeded to kick my head in and get up with DH when he was getting up for early shift Shock - much snoozing required today but unlikely to happen!!

blueberryboybait · 05/10/2010 10:41

Morning Bibi :)
Morning Ursula :)
Hellooo Hippo

DD1at nursery, DD2 was sleeping, I was ironing but not we are having a cuddle in with tea, cake and crappy telly!

FjorgynAndHotWater · 05/10/2010 10:54

Isn't this exciting Grin

feeling doubly like a new woman today as DC slept in until 7.40am ShockShockShock It's AMAZING what difference putting bedtime back to 8pm has made! Getting ready for school was a bit fraught though...

Merlion · 05/10/2010 11:36

Evening all!

Fjorgyn - I might get used to spelling that eventually! Am most Envy of long sleep doesn't make any difference if DS goes to bed later he's still up with the larks. DH very kindly has been getting up with him this week though as I am v.tired atm.

Bibi easy to remember as my cat is called that Smile. Thanks for asking on the other thread am doing ok feeling sick but not being sick and just tired otherwise. Have appt with doctor next Tuesday so guessing that will involve early scan like last time.

Supposed to be going to gym later. My trainer is the only other person that knows other than you lot and DH.

TheCazalets · 05/10/2010 12:01

Erm - hello:)

Going to make you guess (for a bit).

hippopotamus · 05/10/2010 12:08

oi blueberry... why do the others get 'morning' and a Smile whereas i just get a 'hellooo'? hmmmm!

hippopotamus · 05/10/2010 12:15

back from docs... i've got another dose of anti-bs, surgery postponed for at least 10days, doc was lovely and said i need to get my head round things not being completely better for a while. i asked how long 'a while' was, apparently 2 months but pain should be alot better once next course of anti-bs finished. i reported back to dh on my appt with her and i think he's now getting the idea about how much pain i am, and have been, in! doc said i'm lucky that my bum hole is still intact...apparently a little bit further and it wouldn't be [wince] she said i've had 'extensive' repair work but that the mw did a good job of it. always good to hear! hey ho, life goes on!

cazalets i'm thinking that part of your old name was the flower from Drop Dead Fred...

TheCazalets · 05/10/2010 12:22

As i am not sure about the flower from ddf i can't answer Grin.

TheCazalets · 05/10/2010 12:23

googled it and NO!

Admin · 05/10/2010 13:22

ladies, mind the guessing and revealing bit here. full disclosers in the secret garden.Wink NO TROLLS ALLOWED!

Welcome and Greetings, Hippopotamus, TheCazalets, Merlion, blueberryboybait, UrsulaUndress, aStarInStrangeways, and BibiBelle, and Tealoaf.

Did I miss anyone?

Funny story: DC2 was wandering through the house this morning when suddenly the loudest noise appeared behind her. She turned to laugh and put her hands on her diaper. She'd never farted so loud. Grin

Hippopotamus your story makes be cringe. How on earth have you managed until now? I'll be sending you some healing energy to help with those anti-bs.

Merlion your secret is safe, with us at least. I will steer clear of your FB page for safe measure.Wink

Housework is a MUST today. DH wants to leave Friday for our trip north. This means cleaning so someone can enter the house to feed the cats. It's not bad but I'd like it better.

aStarInStrangeways · 05/10/2010 13:39

Admin arf, DS enjoys a good fart too. I was so proud the first time he laughed at a fart noise - good old British humour! Grin

Today he's started saying 'awright' to everything instead of 'yes'...a bit too Michael Barrymore for my liking Hmm

blueberryboybait · 05/10/2010 13:50

A question for all you seasoned potty trainers..... DD is happy to go as and when she needs without being asked as long as she is naked from the waist down. When I put pants on her she wets them even though she knows she isn't wearing her nappy. She is also dry at night now too she woke twice in the night to have a wee which is great but having to take off her grobag, sleepsuit, nappy then potty then re-dress takes ages and I'm not feeling brave enough to skip the nappy all together anad she loves her baggie so that can't go anywhere either!

Hippo - just thought you could use a cheery hellooo before your appointment. And ouch BTW on your bits, mine took longer to heal this time too and I wasn't even stitched only grazed.

Are any of you London Ladies about next Thursday? I have to collect some things in town and was wondering about lunch somewhere if anyone is around.

salta · 05/10/2010 15:47

hellooooooooo

one out of two napping

blueberryboybait · 05/10/2010 15:52

Enyahadenough · 05/10/2010 16:07

salta · 05/10/2010 16:17

marking less good. please kick me.

Silkstalkings · 05/10/2010 17:07

hippopotamus · 05/10/2010 18:31

after our little a&e trip last night, i'm off to investigate how to turn DS's bedroom into a padded cell Hmm I may be some time!

Silkstalkings · 05/10/2010 18:36

Enya He doesn't have to be hard on her, he just has to stay right out of her way, as do you.

enyahadenough · 05/10/2010 18:56

Hip docs said dd1 had slight ear infection in both ears and gave her drops.. not sure wether she may need anti-biotics.. will see how tonight goes Hmm..
