I think what shocks me is the stupidity or audacity that he had to keep banging on about How corrupt/ sleazy the Tories are whilst doing exactly the same. The Tories are sleazy and corrupt. But the point is so is he and his party.
But is he so arrogant he thought no one would find out OR so stupid he thought it wouldn’t matter if he did it as well.
It’s like the winter fuel allowance. He knows what he and his party said about the Tories getting rid of the winter fuel allowance. He and his party kept talking about how it would kill 4000. Yet is doing exactly that at a time fuel prices are higher. But won’t answer why he thinks it’s acceptable to do it.
So was it bollocks when he said it about the Tories? Did they lie knowing it wasn’t true or do they just not care?
When he banged on about Boris wallpaper, whilst doing the same thing, did he assume he would continue getting away with it? Or that people wouldn’t care cause it was him? Or that it was perfectly acceptable because it was him?
Surely he knew he was being a hypocrite and carried on anyway? Surely he knew that if he ever got into Number 10 this would all blow up in his face?
