June - Good grief!!? Well I am going to try & do this "a week at a time" now ..... hope I can keep up - I'll definitely try my best!!

Here's the "Round-Up" for May .....

lucy5 - Prayers for SIL & BIL who recently gave birth to a stillborn DD. Prayers for strength as they come to terms with their enormous loss.

Podmog - Continued prayers for difficult church situation and for them as they contemplate community living as a solution to not having enough space in their current accomodation!! Also prayers for friend who has 2 children & is mentally unstable atm.

ThatBeetroot - Prayers for MIL, Pat, who has been diagnoised with cancer.

fannyannine - Praise God!!! - For safe arrival of Takunda Myles!! Prayers for FA & her fmaily as they settle down to life as a fivesome! Prayers for their difficult money situation....

NotQuiteGrownUp - Prayers for her DS's, that they can make some good & lasting friendships. Prayers for them as they try to find their "place" in the village they live in. Praying for NQGU as she visits her parents....

katzg - Continued prayers for her DD as they struggle to treat her DD's skin condition, Cutaneous Mastocytosis.

CaptainCaveman - Prayers for work collegue's mum who has bowel cancer & liver mets. Prayers for DH's complicated job situation. Praise that her DSis is improving....Continued prayers for recovery...

Prayers for her as she commences ordination ministry training and for her DH to find a much, much better job asap - praying for the RoseyLea family as they struggle with his current v."family unfriendly" job. Prayers for her dad as she has recently undergone surgery.

Suzy - Prayers for strength in her faith & for her resolve to find a place for her and her LO's to worship ...... Prayers for her & her DH as they seek to set up their gardening business after her DH was made redundant. Prayers for her computer & printer too!!

PrincessPeaHead - Prayers for friend who has just started radiotherapy for cancer.

CaptainDippy - Praise God!! for the safe arrival of Phoebe Elisabeth Joan on April 30th - Prayers for the Dippy Family as they adjust to being a family of five!! Prayers for them all as DH embarks on his new job - praying it won't be as terrible as CD thinks it will be .....Eeeeek! Prayers for Dippy's friend whose marraige is on the rocks, she has three children and is PG. There's probably more, but "Baby Daze" has taken over my entire brain!!!

Now GET PRAYING!! .....

My ds starts in August too. He's had 3 visits and he loves it - we are counting down the days now, - 69 to go!!! HE has it on a chart in his room!!

hi nqgn - sounds good , how far is it from where we are having the meet up?

nqgu - ds is 3 and yes, dh most likely won't come! Can you give me a post code for the get together and I'll multi-map it to see how long it might take me.

Continuing to pray for your church leader bobsmum - his wife was soooo lovely - remembering her & their children as they wait.....& your friend too as she heads off to Malwai and has to leave this situation behind. Praying for your DH as he prepares to lead the service on Sunday - praying for incredible wisdom & sensitivity for him. Praying for DS too as he prepares for school

It's just 8 miles away (in the wrong direction from your house) but in a beautiful spot. Anything closer will cost more - although I am struggling to find anything closer. There are so few reasonable places to stay here which will take kids (none of the city B & B's do as it adds to their insurance).

CCM there is a single room at the same B & B that Mufti may stay in, so I could ask whether they will let you put a camp bed in with you there - or would you guys prefer a double room somewhere else (there's only a double and a single at this B & B)

Hi Cargirl. Good to see you again. CaptainDippy, who does the weekly summaries has three children under four, including a newborn, so she may not be able to do a summary every week on the day! I can't imagine how she finds time to do it at all, actually! I'll see if I can help out over the weekend.

now I am throwing up and the paracetamol isnt bringing my temp down much.

The great doc in our house is fast asleep! Nothing else I can do but i feel really rotten - too ill to sleep atm!

Trying to get sort of organised for hols starting next sat but all I seem to be doing is spending loads of money - ah well should be worth it.

Cant wake him hedid a 12hr shift last night, then college this mornig and is on again at 8am for 12 hours.

Now I have stopped throwing up I am feeling a bit better - will try to go to bed soon

nqgn - im sure that will be ok, if i remember rightly there is a pub near to the meet up hall, ?,, mind you dh may not worry , he may be ok about driving , drop us off for the meet and then collect us later to go to b and b.

CCM - thanks for asking about Judy. Apparently its "any time now". She is mostly drugged up apparently, not aware of people. M. has done a good job of arranging for people to be with her. The Macmillan nurses are also going in.

Her and her daughter's faith is STUPENDOUS through all this. I am truly humbled.

Harrisey - hoping and praying you feel better soon.

am stumbling in from a night in the pub so apologies for spellings.....

how weird isthis... ds has a pooh bear abou the size of a 2 yr old. He and his cousin had chucked teddies all over and before i went out I put teddies on his bed, along with jackets etc of ds'. Just got in, having picked ds up in a taxi, put him to bed asleep and pooh bear was sat up on his pillow with a jacket PERFECTLY put against him like he was wearing it.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! err, too weird for my wine fuddled brain to contemplate. I could not have thrown that accurately!!

Hi Suzy! Good on your dh for getting going with the gardening business! I am praying taht he makes lots of contacts and gets enough work in to keep busy.

Bit of a prayer request here - Sorry, I've tried t type this a few time and it's come out as a rambly mess! So please try and follow the thread of my befuddled brain!

Okay...Sunday is my dad's birthday and my mum has planned a wonderful surprise treat for him, and me, my sister and brother of going to Vinopolis in London (wine place) and to have a meal together. I am really lloking forward to it! Dad doesn't know anything about it...

But...he's got a heavy cold.

And...I was supposed to be running the creche at church tomorrow so I tried to swap duties with someone else but it wasn't poss, so at the last minute good old dh offered to do it (hurrah for dhs!!!)

But...dd has come down with a really nasty impetigo infection (excema-related) and she was very poorly yesterday with flu-type symptoms and horrible big spots everywhere. We had a very broken nigt's sleep with her. It's v. infectious esp. to other young dcs so dh can't really take her to church tomorrow...

Which leaves the creche high and dry. The problem is, there really aren't that many people on the rota (which is appalling when you see how big the church is) so it's not as if there's a big pool of people to hel out when things like this happen.

So...I can't let my family down by not going to London (that would really upset them) but I am going to feel really guilty about the creche. Aaaaggh! I'm going to phone someone in a minute to explain. Please pray that dd would recover really quickly, because impetigo can be really nasty, and also that the creche can be run tomorrow, and that I have a good day in London witout it being messed up by my feeling guilty (dh is staying with dd and ds tomorrow).

Sorry that was so long! It's just all a jumble in my sleep-deprived brain!

RL - you DO know that I'm in London tonight as well - at the cherrity ball???

So pleased to hear that Judy and her daughter have retained their faith and peace through all of this. They are very much on my heart.
