June - Good grief!!? Well I am going to try & do this "a week at a time" now ..... hope I can keep up - I'll definitely try my best!!

lucy5 - Prayers for SIL & BIL who recently gave birth to a stillborn DD. Prayers for strength as they come to terms with their enormous loss.

Podmog - Continued prayers for difficult church situation and for them as they contemplate community living as a solution to not having enough space in their current accomodation!! Also prayers for friend who has 2 children & is mentally unstable atm.

ThatBeetroot - Prayers for MIL, Pat, who has been diagnoised with cancer.

fannyannine - Praise God!!! - For safe arrival of Takunda Myles!! Prayers for FA & her fmaily as they settle down to life as a fivesome! Prayers for their difficult money situation....

CaptainDippy - Praise God!! for the safe arrival of Phoebe Elisabeth Joan on April 30th - Prayers for the Dippy Family as they adjust to being a family of five!! Prayers for them all as DH embarks on his new job - praying it won't be as terrible as CD thinks it will be .....Eeeeek! Prayers for Dippy's friend whose marraige is on the rocks, she has three children and is PG. There's probably more, but "Baby Daze" has taken over my entire brain!!!

I came on to let you knwo dh was signed of by his counsellor yesterday - he has worked really hard for 5 weeks and they say it is realy up to him now.

But he is a changed man - putting the kids to bed, getting up in the mornig (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and generally I feel like I have got my husband back1

Praise God!

Well dh is off to the pub with friends whilst I stay home and study/drink wine....kind of celebrating!

Just 2 more 2500 word essays and 88 Higher Geog papers to mark and it will be summer!

Can't compare with the marking but have a 4000 word essay due in on 5th July, then have another 2 to do before December.

All jolly good fun though!

Ds has announced he wants to marry me and daddy.

well unfortunately my neck is still really painful - beginning to wonder if I have actually trapped a nerve rather than just strained/pulled a muscle as it's not got any better and I (quite literally) can't bend my head back far enough to even finish off a drink without getting a searing pain .

If it's no better tomorrow may have to make a Dr.s appointment to at least get a proper diagnosis........

Dh has now done a U turn and said he never agreed to think about not going to Florida (Lord I'm petty!), so maybe baby plans are on hold for a year
I've asked him to at least think about it and let me know what he thinks about me coming off the pill now, seeing as it took us 20 months to conceive ds.
Why do I feel so desparate to have a baby now??!!

Rosey - we sang brother... at a service a few weeks ago - a had tears rolling down my cheeks as at the time a friend was in a really hard place, and I did (and do) want to 'hold the Christ light for her' while doing it herself was difficult.

Mary - enjoy the service! Is your brother enjoying being at home with his family?

Thank you all for your support, god is definitely working hard for me, I feel quite guilty, although I genuinely feel the spiritual strength on this prayer thread is amazing, and feel extremely blessed to be part of it.

I feel god is giving me yet another chance, and if this is my 'sledgehammer moment' to be a 'christian' I gratefully receive all your help.

Sorry I'm useless with words, but really feel the strength atm, and I'd like to think it was coming from God, working in all of you.

Late night request!

Could you all pray for one of our church leaders who's had a v serious heart attack today and the next 48 hrs will be "crucial" apparently. Our church only has about 30 folks so we're all really close. Really praying that the Lord won't take him yet - there's revival in the air round here and lots to do. He's only in his early 50s with 2 teenagers and a wife who need him.

And Roseylea - that organisation would really benefit from you working with them - speaking as a former employee

Off to bed now, but will be v interested to see how you get on - it's vital that this work continues in your part of the world. Email me if you want any background info

Could I ask for prayer for ds1 this morning, who was very quiet and pale as I left him at school this morning. Not sure what is upsetting him again, but he wasn't right.

Mufti - I have found a B & B for £50 double room in lovely countryside, near to a village pub nearby. That is cheap for Oxfordshire! Let me know how it sounds.

CCM - am I looking for you, your dh and ds, and is ds 5? Or was your dh avoiding us?!

All ok here, just hectic - Wedding is tomorrow!!!! Argh!!!

Haven't heard anything new today - so I suppose that must be good news? He's on oxygen etc, but I don't know what kind of ward he's on.

CD - his wife took you all back to the airport when you were here.

Dh is now taking the whole
service on Sunday so wisdom and sensitivity would be good to pray for too.

The other issue is that one of my friends from church is a teacher in the local secondary school and she's leading a big school trip to Malawi leaving on Sunday afternoon. One teen from church is going too. My friend is really close to this family - like an adopted family - and I know she'll be very reluctant to leave with all this uncertainty and worry. She'll be gone for 7 weeks.

Do you ever feel sometimes that every church has a weakness? Like a thorn in its side?

Our last church had a disproportionate number of marriage break ups amongst loads of twenty somethings (about 6 or 7 in 2 years!). Dh's previous church had a load of teen pregnancies and our church at the moment has loads of big health scares and long term illnesses.

Need to stand against this

It sounds minor in comparison, but could I ask you ladies to pray for me. I've got a urine inection, and am passing blood (I used to get them a lot, tied in with kidney stones as well) and I started my antibiotics thi lunchtime.

I feel pretty crappy tbh, and have a 2500 word essay for Monday! I will be feeling better by tomorrow night, if it gos like normal, but if I land in hospital with a kidney stone I will be in trouble.

So could you pray I get beter soon with no worsening of my cndition. I'venot had a stone for 6 months now, so that is good news, but they have come and gone in the past.

Thanks a lot (off to take more co-codamol and curl up on sofa while kids watch bad tv!!)

Bobsmum - is he inhospital in Glasgow? Sure he'll be well looked after, but must be really worying.

On another subject, we must get up to see you sometime! We are away all July, but August woul dbe good!

Yes please - come and visit!!! There's loads to see/do - especially if the weather's nice - if not bring wellies!

August is free - we're off to Millport for a fortnight at the end of July. Then ds starts school on the 20th - eek!

20th August that is.

Ds' Ed Psych has recommended he carry on going to nursery throughout the summer to ease the transition into primary. We have another IEP meeting at the end of this month. I think we'll have to decide if he should be referred for OT this time.
