tree soon you'll be using the nappies! hurrah!!

ilove same here, still using airflow during the day, but wouldn't at night, they're still even on the large side on DD's waist, but always have popper and cuff marks on her chunky legs!

rusmum · 11/01/2009 21:33

what wraps use pm then?? i always use air flows.

4andnotout · 11/01/2009 21:38

I love airflows for containment but they are so boring to look at!
rusmum did the aria on the free board go?

rusmum I either use totbots wrap, or disana wool wrap, unless I'm using a realeasy, which is my favourite for night.

AnnVan · 12/01/2009 15:50

Hi all. A lady at my bf group is thinking of converting to cloth! What sites are good for preloved nappies? She can't afford to buy new.

Agree about the airflows. They're great wraps, it's just a pity they're not a little more funky. Thinking of trying a fleece wrap for nights now.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 12/01/2009 16:04

the nappy site, used nappies site, cloth nappy tree, uk parent lounge.

what is she interested in? I'm going to try and advertise loads this week, if DD ever gives me the time, she's just been in my arms all day!!

rusmum · 12/01/2009 16:54

Quick SANDYS qusetion- DD is in small and have some larger ones but not sure of size- do they go small - large
Or small- medium large?????

Whats everyone selling- am getting bored!! LOL

thebluefoxategreensocks · 12/01/2009 20:22

Just saying hi! Still alive here, tho bit slow to get energy back after virus. Both little ones still have upset tummies & not 100%, but have enough energy to scatter toys from one end of the house to the other....when I don't quite have the energy to tidy them up afterwards! Still in disposables (with wrap on top, of course - else would have NEVER worked! LOL) until the runny tummy disappears. Having all my cloth nappies clean & folded into baskets makes me realise just how many I have (and these are just the large ones for Benjamin...not including big stash for bump! LOL

Hope everyone else is OK! xx

lollipopmother · 12/01/2009 21:13

They just go small and then large with the Sandy's I believe, with (I think) a 2lb cross over.

rusmum · 12/01/2009 21:25

do you know weight ranges off hand lollipop ?

ilovelovemydog · 12/01/2009 22:19

Sandy's sizes

thebluefoxategreensocks · 13/01/2009 20:40

lollipopmother: Just curious...do you still have the small EH hemp nappies? And were the prices inc postage or plus? No guarantees I'm buying anything but just wondering. I'm a full time window shopper/browser! Must get a life!

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 21:15

I got an email from The Lean Green Nappy Machine today re a new product launch.

Tots birth to potty all in one nappy. A flexitot outer with either bamboo or fluffle inner. Has anyone heard of them/seen one/used one? I'm sorely tempted to get one to trial.

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 21:17

Here

ilovelovemydog · 13/01/2009 21:19

BBM tried them

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 21:21

did she rate them at all do you know? At £15 they're quite expensive but it would be worth getting for the outlaws and babysitters if they are good. Although I have lots of pocket nappies that would do the same thing, but I can't resist a new nappy. And I'm having a love affair with totsbots at the minute.

lollipopmother · 13/01/2009 21:45

Rachel - I still have the EH Hemps, prices are including recorded delivery.

Daisy - I've not heard of that nappy before, is it supposed to be a night nappy? I'm also finding that I like Tots nappies, I've just started to use Bamboozles and I really like them, nice and slim. I also have a brand new wrap, I bought it the same day that my DP decided that he wanted me to sell everything and get Ittis, so now I'm stuck with a load of wraps and nothing to put under them, I almost don't want to use the wrap because I then won't be able to get as much money back for it, but then I won't get full price anyway

rusmum · 13/01/2009 22:15

dont you guys find one part nappies leak/wick more|???

Still loving sandys but not tried any pockets.

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 22:40

What size is your tots wrap lollipop?

ilovelovemydog · 13/01/2009 22:45

Pick me! Would be interested in new tots bots wraps - size 1.....

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 22:50

I love them ILMD. Had poop on the edge of the wrap but no leaks onto clothing, even though they are quite a loose fit around bumble's thighs. They look so darn funky as well.

ilovelovemydog · 13/01/2009 23:00

Daisy - I love them more than you

During the M & B trial, had an embarrassing episode. The H/V came to see DS, and she was impressed with the reusables. I was showing her the Bum Genius, and took my eye off DD (aged 2) for a few seconds, by which time she had managed to dump her crayons into the washing machine, and turn it on the hot wash

It was most of the diapers for the trial, but fortunately when I told them what had happened, they thought it was so funny, they very kindly replaced them....

Tell BBM that if I don't hear from her, will have to go visit...

LackaDAISYcal · 13/01/2009 23:11

No, I love them more

Oh dear at the crayons. Were the nappies ruined? And what effect did it have on your washing machine?

Bumble is going to be too big for the latest trial nappies before I finish it. We are only getting through three or four nappies a day as he is in paper at night so it's taking ages to get enough for a full load.....and meanwhile his not so little bottom just grows and grows.

BBM hasn't answered my FB message yet; I hope she's OK!

baby waking up......feeding time at the zoo

AnnVan · 14/01/2009 15:37

I have decided that I don't like pocket nappies all. Every time he has one on he leaks wee in no time at all.

Debs75 · 14/01/2009 15:39

Leaks I use little lambs bamboo during the day and as yet have had no major leaks. What we do get is damp patches from the edges of the wrap. The wrap is a plasticky material with soft cotton taped edges and these pick up the wet from the bamboo and we get damp patches on the edge of the vests or babygros. Is this normal or am i doing something wrong when I put the wrap on?
Is there another wrap I could use. I would like to use them on a night but don't fancy changing all her clothes.
Ironically the pampers she wears have fallen off her bum some nights so have had to change her some mornings.
