treedelivery.....not long for you now? excited? nervous? scared?

LackaDAISYcal · 08/01/2009 23:32

oh, and "bumble" is my DS2 if anyone was wondering why I was putting tots on a bumble nappy!!!!. DD can't pronounce his name....finlay....so calls him bumble for reasons only valid inside a 19mo old toddler's head.

As a result, we all call him bumble, even tho it isn't remotely like finlay!!

sleep deprived rambles over.....will catch up soon

treedelivery · 08/01/2009 23:37

Bumble will stick and it's lovely!

Not scared, most excited about nappies and trying them out, worried about motivation and feeding and lack of sleep etc.

Biggest worry money and dh unemployment so pushing out sproglet, pain and all that has faded into insignificance really!!

Go to bed!!

Tree - You now have a 6ft long email in your inbox! , oh and if you're doing disposies for the first couple of weeks whack an XS wrap over the top, you'll vastly reduce the back-splats (ohh but they're such fun!!!)

treedelivery · 08/01/2009 23:49

Back-splats rofl!!

Fab, am scuttling off to email x

treedelivery · 08/01/2009 23:52

THANK YOU LOLLIPOP! You are a nappy Goddess

lollipopmother · 08/01/2009 23:54

Eeeek didn't expect to X-post at this late hour! Glad to hear that your LO is doing well Daisy, it's a bit of a shock to the system having a baby even if you've had one before, a friend of mine had two really laid back girls, has just popped a boy and she's feeding every 2hrs still and he's 4 months old! I had an email from BBM before Xmas, no specifics but sounded bad and I haven't heard from her since so do send on my love. Thanks for looking at my pics, I LOVE my DD, she is so damn gorgeous she melts me a little more every day, and that's saying something because before babies I was a pain in the ass ice queen!! Now I'm just a mess!

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 09/01/2009 00:14

daisy hope all is well, despite the sleep, or lack of - we were conned by DS going through at 2 wks, but DD... we're alergic to daytime sleep here, just about getting on with nights. and I called my brother the italian version of "baba" (his name being quite a mouthful for a 16mo) and it stuck for a looooooooooooooooooooong time with most of our extended family (in fact I think is only when he bacame a father at 21 that some stopped calling him that, including our neighbours!)

Give my love to BBM too, I have her e-mail address but as it was mentioned she had bad RL issues didn't know if she'd appreciate a RL stranger, albeit a fellow real nappy addict, contacting her for non-nappy reasons.

AnnVan · 09/01/2009 01:15

yawn
Seb severely afflicted with wind tonight.
Need sleep.

I considered adding BBM as a friend on fb, but like sunflower wasn't sure if she'd appreciate a stranger butting in. hope she's ok though

TheLadyEvenstar · 09/01/2009 08:35

what do you think of sending BBM a bunch of flowers to let her know we are all thinking of her? that is if anyoen has her addy!

Was anyone buying/selling with babyjjbaby? as she has been banned due to the trolling.
I must get my arse in gear, i have to be at dd1's school @ 3 for a parents assembly then have to get back and chuck everything in the car ready to leave.
ceb cheque arrived thanks Will get bg packed up ready to post

lollipopmother · 09/01/2009 14:38

What, BabyJ has been banned? What trolling?

4andnotout · 09/01/2009 14:41

She doesn't have a baby only a teddy and mislead everyone, the secret santa was the actual banning offence i think tho.

ceb80 · 09/01/2009 14:41

4andnotout Great going away tomorrow for a week so will be nice pressie for when I get back!

Lollipop will email you!

lollipopmother · 09/01/2009 14:55

4andnotout - Ah yes, I know about that and heard something about a secret santa. She's bought things from me in the past and also yesterday though and I have found her to be reliable, baby or no baby.

AnnVan · 09/01/2009 15:22

Oh dear - what do you want me to do about the bumhugger then Lollipop? Also can you email me your bank details and I'll send payment for the lovable (I don't have paypal and I've never used it) What is the Secret Santa thing she was banned for? sorry - got me curious.

4andnotout · 09/01/2009 16:12

I was merely stating that she has been banned, not commenting, personally i think the teddy is an excuse but thats only my opinon.

AnnVan · 09/01/2009 16:33

ok need a little help.
I have a couple of wonderoos, and I'm getting terrible wee leaks with them. He's had this one on about an hour and his clothes are wet. Is there a trick to them?

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 09/01/2009 17:00

Ann never had leaks with them, sorry...

AnnVan · 09/01/2009 17:24

ok. Wander if maybe I'm putting the inserts in wrong or something. The nappy seems to bunch up at the front when it's on.
Then again, my mum tumble dried them at hers, so maybe it's affected the waterproofing? the outer did seem to be wet. puzzled really.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 09/01/2009 17:44

the nappy does bunch up at the front when on small settings, but I only use the small insert so it's just the cover that bunches up iykwim

AnnVan · 09/01/2009 18:12

maybe I'll give that a try then. thanks.
