And yeah, Bumhuggers ARE a bugger to dry - not thick, just VERY thirsty.

lollipopmother · 07/01/2009 22:50

Grrr, I've just spent an age making a For Sale thread on Clothnappytree and for some reason it isn't there anymore, I don't know whether it was removed or whether I just did something wrong.

To save myself the hassle, does anyone fancy a Samsonite Ladybird changing bag with bottle bag and changing mat, or a red Nappies by Minki fleece wet bag - red with sheep? Pictures are here.

I'm going to put some nappies on soon too, a load of small EH Hemp, both velcro and poppers, and possibly some Nature Babies Lovables. I have a purple Weenotions Side Snap Medium and also a Weenotions half pink, half white minki dots that I'm thinking of selling too but it breaks my heart as I know I haven't given them much of a go as they're too big but DP says I should sell them on to fund Ittis and I suppose I agree with him but am very about it.

treedelivery · 07/01/2009 22:50

can one get you through the night or are you looking at a change? dd1 was a dispo bubbs and I never changed her at night unless poo flowed forth.

Think of those lovely ittis though...Ohhhh. Keep 'em and have both

lollipopmother · 07/01/2009 22:54

Tree - A Bumhugger can get you through 12h, if you get a new-style one it has a tongue inner so it's quicker to dry, and you can also stick a microfibre cloth in it if you wanted to (I did this just because I did!). Never got any wet leaks but just don't fit my DDs shape, poo comes straight out the leg in the blink of an eye.

Swampster - I think they are lovely on the inside and they are v.slim for the absorbency , wouldn't say they are anything to look at hemp side out though!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 07/01/2009 22:58

I'm actually using Fluffles at night for my nearly 22mo little boy! They are old style (so I think a bit more thirsty than the newer ones) but I boost them with an additional microfibre insert & folded in half face cloth, and he's great 12 hours later! Yes, it is wet, but his skin is lovely and dry, as the fleece is fab! And he's got a Motherease Airflow wrap over it all. Seems to be working very well for us, and he's one who hates a wet nappy during the day! Don't see how he endures it for 12 hours, when he sometimes goes through 2-3 nappies in 1 hour during the day, as he'll dig & scratch if I don't change him!

lollipopmother: It's not you on Clothnappytree - they've had rather big server problems today, and the board keeps bouncing back & forth between 2 different "lifes" as it were - one might be trying to post a message on a particular thread and when you hit "reply" it takes you to a totally unrelated post and you can't get back!! Quite frustrating, though I think they're trying to sort it out - but for now, it's a bit unpredictable as to what you might have access to.

lollipopmother · 07/01/2009 23:02

That explains why I keep having to log in to it then even though I never log out!

thebluefoxategreensocks · 07/01/2009 23:14

Just put some small & medium wraps up over on the classified section, if anyone is needing any! Nearly new & bargain prices too - just collecting tooooo many things for bump!

Essie3 · 07/01/2009 23:21

all, been busy and suffering through lack of sleep so not been on the board much. Should have - apart from the good chatting we had a bad nappy rash incident here. His little botty suddenly flared up big time. DH went out late at night on New Year's Day (!! happy new year to us, eh?) to get Metanium, and it's cleared up now. We tried him in dispos - couldn't believe the cost of them!! - but it didn't seem to help much. Washables are better. Now we have loads of dispos to get rid of, but we're using them at night, because his sleeping is so awful we don't want leaks too!!

4andnotout glad the pop-ins are a hit. Hope the sewing was ok - it was harder than I thought. They're a great nappy though (now that we've solved the leak problems - we fold up the flap) and the company sent me a fab Close Baby Carrier as a thank you (for cutting up nappies which they replaced anyway ) and it's truly fab.

Was in IKEA today and bought their cheapo pack of flannels. They're huge! Too big for wipes. How big are people's wipes? I have a load of fleece wipes I made which I'll sell cheaply if anyone wants them (I have multicoloured elephants on bright blue, plain white which are too boring to sell, and stars on pale blue) but I'm concerned they're too small. They would do as liners though - that was my plan, but now Iestyn is going to nursery explaining the whole thing is too complex and the paper liner is more sensible.

Lollipop how big is your wet bag, and what's it made of? Looks like fleece, but that can't be right, can it? Oh, and how much? Being Welsh I'm drawn to the sheep. Strange.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 07/01/2009 23:30

Essie3: I use ordinary sized cheap flannels for wipes and think they're great. Being big is a plus, as you can fold them over, or use full size for a very messy bottom! I recently got a couple of "official style" cloth wipes (fleece on one side & towelling on the other) and must say I prefer my cheap tesco flannels instead! And they are so useful to have around anyway, to clean up all sorts of un-nappy related messes, or to stuff inside nappies along with other stuffing!

TheLadyEvenstar · 08/01/2009 09:27

4andout coeeeeeeeeeeeee

bumhuggers for sale i think i have 4 or 5 if anyone is interested and they are all large.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 08/01/2009 09:34

Essie - I got the ikea flannels, but I find them a bit too big too for now, so I got on of these for £1.46 (they do one though for less than £1 but a bit thinner), and I got 15 wipes out of one (I have another one waiting to be cut up when I get the chance...), perfect size for us, about the sizeof a disposable.

SunflowerNeedsSunshine · 08/01/2009 10:05

to the bumps out there - I'm selling a sz 0 lilac spotty totbots wrap new (with gussets), only pre-washed but unused, and a sz 0 totbots spotty fleece wrap, used once.

oh, and also a small baby beehinds fushia velcro wrap, again only tried once so everything is in excellent condition. just let me know if you're interested.

lollipopmother · 08/01/2009 10:57

Essie - Sorry hun but the wet bag is already pending, if I don't hear back from the lady then it is yours. It's just a normal wetbag type inner with fleece outer.

I'm now selling some small microfibre Nature Babies Lovables, either pink hearts or blue with multicoloured paws fleece inner, they're nippa fastening. Also some EH Hemp, small, either dark blue poppers and stitching, light blue poppers and stitching or red popper and stitching, I've also got a natural with velcro. All pics are now here

I'll be selling Wonderoos in various colours too when I can get my arse in gear enough to picture all the colours.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/01/2009 12:25

TheLadyEvenstar: Did you get the green Swaddlebees nappy OK? I posted it on Monday (1st class) so thinking you should have it by now - hopefully! Oh yes btw, did you manage to get the Fuzzis posted yet? Nothing received here yet, so just wondering!

TheLadyEvenstar · 08/01/2009 12:40

Rachel, Yes and NO lol. I am off to P.O saturday, have a couple of others for you as well and am so sorry, everytime i arrange to get myself out either ds2 or i are ill. I have a viral thing atm which is killing my throat

lollipopmother · 08/01/2009 12:46

Has anyone seen AnnVan at all recently?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 08/01/2009 12:49

No worries. Hope you are feeling better soon. I think something's hit our house - or at least Benjamin - so far! He was awake and vomitting in the night every hour from midnight to 7am (and several times twice in the hour), and again once since getting up! He just can't keep anything down. And now he's got a runny tummy, so awful nappies to change frequently! Not sure I can really cope with being awake today, when if you add up all the 10 minute periods of sleep I got in the night, I'm sure they can't total more than 2 hours or so!

TheLadyEvenstar · 08/01/2009 12:53

rachel ohhh I hope he is ok hun.

4andnotout · 08/01/2009 13:46

lolipop Paid
tles how much for the bumhuggers?

TheLadyEvenstar · 08/01/2009 14:30

4andout i will get pics later and you can make me an offer!

ilovelovemydog · 08/01/2009 14:33

Hi people - DD is getting house potty trained! She was dry last night, although have been washing panties non stop! She's getting there...

Wonder if I should get more nappies for her?

rusmum · 08/01/2009 15:02

lolli| why you selling lovables???? what weight range??

lollipopmother · 08/01/2009 15:53

Rusmum - I'm selling purely because my DP says that he prefers the Itti Bitti D'lish he bought me for Xmas, and (here's the funny part) .... he says he'll do more changes if we have more Ittis! So I'm selling most of my stash now to fund more Ittis. I'll be really sad to see them go though, I love my Lovables they're so absorbent, dry in the blink of an eye and a really good fit on my DD.

They're size 1, says it's up to 18lb, nippa fastening so you can get a good fit on any shape.

lollipopmother · 08/01/2009 15:55

Oh, I'm selling some of my Sandy's too - size small, some pre-washed, the rest used only a handful of times, sob.
