I'm a single nappy gal - I've found one brand and stuck with it! Mind you I have mild OCD and have issues with things matching etc... .
Luckily the pop-ins are doing well - dry at night even!

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 22:23

Oh, and if you fancied buying Little Lambs new, I can heartily recommend this ebay seller

Essie3 · 30/09/2008 22:24

This thread is shooting along - I x-posted with 5 other posts!
It's fab - someone asks for advice on nappies...and we're off!

Ceolas you're really knowledgeable!

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 22:27

Nappy geek. What a claim to fame!

Loving my pop-ins too, btw. Did you have any more luck with the night time booster? The instruction leaflet is worse than useless isn't it?

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 30/09/2008 22:29

Hi

does anyone have any size 1 tots bots nappies or wraps for sale? The velcro or popper ones please?

thanks

Essie3 · 30/09/2008 22:31

Well, I phoned them today and now I know how to use it!
The leaflet is pretty bad - I was totally misled by the picture of how to fold the booster: half folded for a boy, double for a newborn, unfolded for a girl. Eh??

Currently I'm still using just the slimline booster pad at night, and he's been dry every night for 2 weeks now. Not sure what we're doing differently.

So, a question for the Nappy Guru (sounds better than geek? ). How do the pop-ins compare on price to other nappies?

Essie3 · 30/09/2008 22:33

Size 1 Modern Baby ones for sale here- v. similar to tots bots I think? Enchanted (or anyone else) I'm sara.e.roberts at bangor.ac.uk

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 22:36

I would be wary about accepting such a title. Many more knowledgeable than me (BBM, Lackadaisycal, eg.)

Anyway I think the pop-ins are about the same price as other one size pockets/AIOs (eg Bumgenius, Fuzzi Bunz) but more expensive than standard nappies needing a wrap. Not a budget option

Essie3 · 30/09/2008 22:40

Well, lucky I got 10% off!

How about Nappy Nerd? Only because it's alliteration...

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 22:45

OK, nerd it is

Would you do me a favour and try a description of how to fit the night booster on our pop-in thread please? I don't know if I'm doing it properly

Essie3 · 30/09/2008 22:51

OK, coming up!

sunflower78 · 30/09/2008 23:34

Essie3 - waiting for night booster explanation too (though won't need it for a while as the main one is enough for now...) where did you get the 10% off offer?

daisy - hope you're right - don't think I can go on much longer with all this feeding and 3 hours sleep per night, and mum's going back to italy at the end of the week, so I'll be onmy own with 4yo just started school and really missing mummy, and 4wo wanting milk constantly... took another 3 hours tonight to ge her settled (and 2 feeds)

Ceolas · 30/09/2008 23:38

sunflower - pop in thread here

sunflower78 · 30/09/2008 23:46

ceolas - thanks!

MatNanPlus · 01/10/2008 02:11

Hi Everyone, the saying is that only a third to a half of a babies throw up is milk, the rest is saliva and digestive juices

BigBadMousey · 01/10/2008 09:56

Hello Lacks - hope the cold passes soon. 5 weeks to go eeeek! I can't believe my DS is 4mo already - the time just seems to fly by. He sat up unaided yesterday
