I’ve seen these threads on here before and now I’m interested in hearing the replies for my own child.

I drew the aeroplane, my child did the rest - colouring in, extra squiggles on top, selecting the colours and where to put them. It’s felt tip.

How old so you think this child might have been?

Once we get a few replies I will come back and share the reasons I’m asking.

People are weird! @ViaRia01this is a good attempt by a preschooler. Lovely fine motor skills. I would have guessed 5 or 6. No idea why others find it so difficult to be nice over something so small.

I'd love it of my 3.5 yo ds coloured like this and/or showed any interest in colouring at all 😅

This comparative stuff is absolute crap.
One of mine could have done a better job colouring in at about 2.5.

The other one was still colouring like this at 7. Whilst he's not winning any prizes for colouring in, he could do full on lego sets well above his age, following the instructions on his own.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Not just for you but also for them. Comparison causes so much pain to kids, I don't know why anyone wants to reinforce it. All kids have their skills, they are all different and that's what makes the world beautiful.
