Ok, the thread's too long for me to something similar has been covered, but you seem quite impressed with it, so.......

DS2+3, 10 and 8, can sometimes be a pita at bedtime. (Sometimes aided and abetted by DS1).

They're loud and boisterous lads, and tbh most of the time they're only sitting talking, but they're soooo loud.

The problem is DH sometimes has vvv early starts and often goes to bed before them, and then is kept awake by their nattering.

What should we be saying to them to get them to show some consideration, be quieter, and ultimately go to blardy sleep?

Just dropped by to do a little dusting -

update please unknown.

Nutty. Do not despair. How can we help?

unknownrebelbang · 03/06/2007 00:16

Update, well...

We've been away all week, and the lads were all up later than usual, but they went to bed really well, with only one spat all week.

We've continued to discuss and negotiate (eg footie last night - they were allowed to watch the second half with DH in bed, and then get straight into their own beds afterwards, which they did).

Tonight has been the first "normal" night since the first night a fortnight ago, and although there was a bit of movement and a minor disagreement, they went to bed much better than in the past.

I'm still expecting a few hitches, especially with DS2, but yes, very much a success, methinks!

Ah. Sorry, things got a bit out of hand here because there were SO MANY PEOPLE with problems. Was awful and very tiring and had to recruit Boco but she knew jack shit about HTT and just messed about in the office really and then there was this lady with sick in her nose and handbag. AND Franny get peering in and being disapproving and then this nice lady had a hooligan son who kept throwing chairs and honestly I've never been more pleased to see anyone in my life.

Dogsby · 03/06/2007 21:51

well fgs oyu were weak

ahundredtimes · 03/06/2007 21:54

They were very demanding clients. Honestly and they kept on coming in and coming in, 'oh help me' 'oh my ds is a hooligan'. Wasn't like just having unknown and her bedtime dramas. Was hard work.

unknownrebelbang · 03/06/2007 21:54

Shame really, after the initial success.

Franny - yes you were very kind, but I felt the WEIGHT of your disapproval. Added to the pressure. I'm rather enjoying this job appraisal actually.

I hope you noticed Franny that I was the FIRST person to stick up for you on that hateful and foolish thread. See how I appreciated the sandwich?
