Never even heard of a bimby mind you I like the sound of it not even looking at the price !
Lysoform I use it as it cleans the bathroom , the floors and its good mind you after the last bout of vomiting I vow never to buy pino again !
In the Uk I have not really looked but parents by JIF which doesn't do a good as job . Father just buys the same old stuff never looks at what new is on the market. There is bound to be something similar.
Pizza you are brave sputnik I confess to buying the dough then dd can have more fun with it.
Camo dd's not slept much either here MR must have done about 30 mins....grumpy baby later.
I think dh might be washing up crikey it must be Christmas......

Never come across Bimby but then I don't know lots of people enough to go into their kitchens, IYSWIM.

Lysoform OTOH yes I use it, mostly in the bathroom for cleaning the toilet. I like it as it doesn't smell too foul, am funny about smells. Not sure what an equivalent would be in UK, last time I lived there I was a student and don't actually recall that level of deep cleaning really. Domestos?

Winter Wonderland: Friend went a few weeks ago and said it was great. We went a few years back and wasn't that impressed with it and thought very expensive. Apparently according to the Guardian it is still very expensive but according to above friend a good fun and very big.

Are we really going to have snow? This morning I took bigpppi to school and she told me that 'quando nevica io piango' 'perche'?' 'perche' sono tanto felice!'. I wonder if she did!

WHAT 1000 for a bit of kitchen equipment DH would think I had gone potty. I have Phillips magimix thing and I hardly ever use that. I love my 20 yr old Kenwood its second hand and it does cakes beautifully. Dh buys all the things you see on the regional tv channels like the set of knives ( that they chop a tin can in half)and the magic bullett when he goes to the fiere di eletronica as they are selling them off so cheap.
I thought when you first said Bimby it was a childs kitchen but thats Smoby!!
I am on here only as I should be searching fo ideas on how to make nativity scene things from cardboard and loo rolls - NOt satisfied with our cr*p house they want people and animals.......

Oh I have made carbonara too the other day after you mentioned it and was such a great success with everybody. I stopped making it because once dh wasn't that impressed. He's a changed man now. Such a great quick thing to do. Una salvezza!!!

Dp would have been a gadget man, but I put a stop to that a few years ago! He would never use them, or lose them....

I can't atm, minipippi woke up. All I can say is that I have done pasta e fagioli the other day (same way as the pasta a ceci more or less) and it went down well with everybody.

all kids are here now plus friend so must go.

having pancakes with nutella and milk (actually, when can you give chocolate to babies?), we all needed a quick fix so no cake. was just too cold after putting the stupid cover on the car.

lol at buying from channels. if fil had a bank card (refuses to have one as he doesn't trust it) he'd be bankrupt by now, since having freeview he's always watching price drop etc and then tell dp all about the magical things he's seen . he got the magic knives though from a shop.

quick recipes... pasta carbonara or amatriciana (did it today as was in a rush) always a hit - actually any pasta with pancetta (so piselli e pancetta, funghi e pancetta, spinaci e pancetta....). if I'm lost for ideas, then I make risotto ai porri, as that's all you need. or risotto giallo, as ds says, allo zafferano.

well, minicamo loooooooooooves nutella, just "cleaned" the knife on her pancake and she keeps on eyeing the jar

how do you amatriciana Camo?

there are various versions (some use onions, some garlic, some nothing), but in general, lightly fry chopped onion, add pancetta and peperoncino, and fry, then add tinned tomatoes and season. then add some pecorino grattuggiato. If I make it for the kids alone, then I don't use peperoncino or very little. I also use parmesan as I always have it at home (I don't like pecorino, like most cheeses, though I don't mind it in amatriciana). Oh, and if I make pasta for just DP and me, then we love spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino, superfast and yummy

well, dd keeps on coming over to have a little lick of the nutella spoon, guess there's no going back now!

Re chocolate I just read yesterday on the garzanti dizionario di puericultura that one shouldn't give choc under 3 as it is allergenic . How impossible can that be!!!!!
