Rosa, sorry to hear the dds are unwell again . It's a nasty autumn in terms of illnesses!

Have just been to the dentist after 2 yrs. It appears I need some work done on my gums (which yes, do give me some trouble). So that's me, waving bye bye to 500 euros

Oh, hello, surprised it has been so quiet, came on here expecting to have pages and pages to read, but no.....

Had a mininap which turned into a 2 hour marathon...

ciao ragazze, not really in a chatty mood so that;'s why i am not here much. have spent all my MN energy on posting on a HE thread, don't know why i bothered tbh.

if dds behave well at bedtime i may come back later. but really i shouldn't, i am so tired i should go to bed at 9 tonight...

I have been busy/entertaining/ebaying last couple of days. bet you're all asleep now.

DH is in London for 2 nights so if any of you lot ver there see a guy with large feet shivering a lot offer him the price of a cup of tea, or something.

no detox for me just sick dd1. Yest went to paed at 15.30 who said she probably has an otite but she has a huge tappo of cerume so he couldn't see properly. Off we went to Osp and found a lovely otorino. He could see she was upset and also her febbre was on the way up again. I should have gone via pronto soccorso but he saw her anyway ( and I never did go back down there as he said take her home !!!) he said she should have it syringed- couldn't get dd on the lettino ( plus he said if she did have infection then it would be a male bestiale ) so he decided to do the gentle route drops to soften , antibiotics and then come back at the end of the week for a lavaggio - if the drops haven't worked then he will have to syringe anyway but hopefully they will do some good. He gave me cell number if she got worse and he would see her straight away . Got home and her temp went up and up . Tacchip and then Nuroflex at midnight . she threw that and the anitibiotic up at 1am dh was there and he diddn't hold her head so have just done second bath and hair wash now ... 1st washing load finished and have now to scrub the bed guard and tapetto. Minirosa of course woke in the fun and she went back to sleep at 3am !!! We all ( dh , me and minirosa) have a funny dry cough but nothing else ( at the moment !!!)
Franca what a bummer at the 500 - If it was a one off treatment I would go to the Uk as it is a bit cheaper !!!

Rosa, oh my goodness, your poor dd, sounds awful . But the ottorino sounds lovely, it helps to know there is a caring doctor only a phone call away!

The dentist: it's going to be 4 sedute to treat my gums, which apparently are in really bad shape, as I have deposits of tartar beneath the teeth . I'm obviously not so keen, it will hurt!
I'm not sure it'd be less expensive at our dentist in the UK, we had a private dentist, as the waiting list on the nhs was endless... .

Oh your poor DD Rosa, and poor you. Hope she's better soon.

Franca you have reminded me I should get my teeth cleaned. 500 euros, ouch!

DH is apparently taking advantage of London and had beer for dinner

No prob. He found one in the end, £90 and 1.5 m across, but hey it doesn't have bedbugs, as many places in that area seemed to, according to reviews .
Broadband is better in Africa, apparently, and we couldn't Skype.

Franca get the dentist to rub some of the childrens local anteseptic into your gums when he is doing it ...Everything helps ..I feel for you I hate having my teeth cleaned and gointo orbit evertime anything metal hits my teeth .
Sput I did ask my BIL but he diddn't know any names his father has the news stand outside of Gloucester road tube .
DD seems a bit better in her self and then she has flat spots and you can literally watch her temp going up.. Minirosa keeps sneezing and my cough is getting worse and my chest tighter ..( Bu**ger x 30 I cannot be ill as dh is working and a bit hard in the next few days. ) MIL wil not come in incase she catches something.... Oh well off to put all inc me in bed and heres hoping we all have a good rest.

It is not a normal pulizia dei denti, I will need anestesia to clean under the gums . Sorry, I'll stop moaning now

school usually ends around 15 june, from elementare upwards, at least around here.

Definetely Retrovious and tehn Castle and Gibson. There was another one I think, the one with the midwife;s prints which for I moment I loved and then I thought "Bleahhhh", was that Retrovious?
