Can't afford one unfortunately.
Am still sitting here undecided and my bum has gone numb from perching on the edge of a wooden chair

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 03/10/2009 18:33

Gosh, it's gone very quiet on here. Everything okay?

Berrie · 03/10/2009 18:57

Apart from being in the thick fog of a particularly unpleasant depressive episode I'm fine.

Don't know about Lyra. When is Muse?

Berrie · 03/10/2009 20:20

Oggs you can get one for £80.

Save up your beer money.

oggsfrog · 03/10/2009 21:33

Sorry Berrie . Hope it lifts soon. Did you get the tablets sorted or did you ditch them completely?

Not sure when Muse is.

Got a new puppy today!

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 03/10/2009 21:34

Didn't realise you could get them for that much. Will start saving.

Berrie · 03/10/2009 21:40

Berrie · 03/10/2009 21:52

I had a dream I had a puppy but it kept weeing everywhere!

LyraSilvertongue · 04/10/2009 22:10

I'm here. Just finished my book. Flippin' great stuff. Can't wait for the next one, which is due out any day now.
Muse is in November so ages yet.
Cute puppy Oggs.
Berrie. It's crap, isn't it?

Berrie · 05/10/2009 10:36

Oh titles and authors again pleas Lyra.

Just seen a beautiful fox saying hello to our chickens. They did not seem to mind at all and yet some things can set them asquarking for ages!

Have just put the forms in for dd for school next year!
I'm going to have to get a job I think I will go mental at home without her.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/10/2009 11:44

It's amazing how eaily you can fill the time. I'm getting through a lotof books. Plus you'll still have to have time for housework, shopping, cooking, laundry etc. I wouldn't want to work full time again.
Books - The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest, all by Stieg Larsson. You can get them on Amazon for a very good price.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/10/2009 11:49

It's cold and wet here for the first time in weeks. Last week was like the middle of summer - hot, sunny, blue skies.
I've started buying Christmas presents already (against my better judgement). The boys saw these electric guitars in The Entertainer and they both want one. They're reduced from £69.99 to £19.99. Bargain.

Berrie · 05/10/2009 12:43

Right, ordered the first two

We are hoping to go away at half term and I've been looking at beach chalets. They range from £164 to £252. I'll send you a link when we've chosen one. Dh wants an extra bedroom to put his aerolpanes in I just want a great view and a bath as well as a shower would be nice.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/10/2009 14:47

Where are you going? Cornwall? Abroad?

LyraSilvertongue · 05/10/2009 14:50

I would have offered to lend you mine but I've given the first one to my sister. I've ordered the third off Amazon but a frend is borrowing it after I've read it. If you can wait you can borrow that one.
Be warned, the first one is a little bit of a slow starter but stick with it and you shall be rewarded

Berrie · 05/10/2009 15:58

Cornwall!

Berrie · 05/10/2009 20:59

HERE

If the accomodation has reset it's B28.

LyraSilvertongue · 05/10/2009 21:51

That looks great Berrie. We really must try one of these, maybe next year. The boys would love being right on the beach.

Berrie · 06/10/2009 08:15

I'll let you know. It might be awful! But our favourite places are all a short drive away so as long as it's clean and not too cold we'll be fine.

LyraSilvertongue · 06/10/2009 09:58

Another grim wet day here

oggsfrog · 06/10/2009 11:08

Got to be quick... no time...

Lyra, what is The Entertainer? Dd has been making noiuses about an electric guitar. She's just been bought a pink ukulele .

Berrie, taht chalet looks fantastic and a great price too. When are the school hols down there? Dd is off next week and the week after.

It's a toy shop chain. I think their website is thetoyshop.co.uk or something. The guitar might be too small for her. It was the right size for DSs (7&5) but have a look.
