HI all, have started our new thread, thought it was a good time to do so, as nobody seemed to be mid-conversation, at least I hope so!!!
Lets hope its a great month for us all

Hi everyone - havent posted for a while. Lots of new names on here.

Lilylu - I heard back within 3 days after emailing photos of DD to B&B but I know sometimes that can take up to 6 weeks.

DD has M&S next Thurs/Fri - anyone else going?

It was last Summer. DD is 27 months now. I spoke to Kipsey yesterday and I know they are really busy at the mo - she sounded quite frantic!

ah.. thanks for that ! i'm really keen on their agency, i've heard such good things, so will sit tight and keep everything crossed !! my dd is a toddler. hows it going with them.. has ur dd you had much work?

She has had 4 jobs for M&S and a couple of castings but because of her age hasnt had anything else. She also acts like a diva sometimes! She has been booked again for M&S next week, going to see how she goes with that. If she doesnt enjoy it then will "retire" her until she is 3years old.

Spoke to KL on phone with trembling hands. Phew, i did'nt need to worry, they were nice and helpful. They said that the photos are fine, but if i wanted to submit a few more it would be ok. If they think they are better, they will use them instead. The look book is oct-nov, and it's totally opotinal. Glad i called, i feel much better now.

hi all.
Been out of circ for few days, baby been in hospital with gasterentiritis, (sp??)

Jazz, never heard it called the look book before!! (we've been with KL for 6 years)It's optional to be photographed and to be in it. Sue has final say about whether your child goes in it or not, but having been it and not, would really recommend going in it.

Ds 4 has shoot for Early Learning Centre on Tuesday so he's looking forward to playing. He's hoping he's gonna get planet protectors, bless him.

Didn't get Mercedes job, just as well as baby had to be admitted to hospital anyway.

Liaghen have sent a few mails in the past few days, but postmaster keeps returning them?

lilylu I applied a few weeks ago and didn't hear from them for about a week so I decided to send the e-mail again and they replied in two days so maybe you should try and re-send it?

Jazz any cheerful calls yet? We're waiting, dd is getting anxious bless her.

Liahgen, what do you call the look book? KL seemed to know what i was talking about when i called them (although they probably thought "i'v not heard it called that before). Ichef, no we have'nt heard anythink yet. I might send some better pics up this week and see if that helps.

Alls fine, no not heard anything for my ds for now, but did get a straight job last month. but couldnt do it, as we were in Liverpool aaahhhhggggg!!! always the way isnt it. Best wishes to you and dd, may the jobs come rollin in!

My dh thinks i should send some up some better pics to represent my dd to KL. Do i send them with a covering letter, or put all the details on the back? Thanks guys.

we just call it the model book, or the book, lol just a note with name and current height, etc on the back of photos.
