This was in the summer but I saw Lily Cole at the Antony Gormley exhibition

she was queuing, she saw me gawping and smiled embarrassedly

I was in love, I think she looks like a terrible freak in adverts but in RL she is gawjus

Caprice, Erin O'Connor and Peaches Geldof poncing around the Clothes Show at NEC on Tuesday. DD went all star struck and giggly about Erin.

ggirlsbells · 13/12/2007 18:22

I think I might have seen Alan Rickman in the back of a taxi today.

wessexgirl · 13/12/2007 18:23

Rory Bremner at a music thing for kids at the Jacqueline Du Pre hall in Oxford, couple of weeks ago.
Yesterday, Dylan Moran picking up his daughter from school and tripping up on the top floor of the bus. I really wanted to eavesdrop but a Polish man talking on his phone was drowning him out. He was talking about his primary school days with his daughter.

aWorminaManger · 13/12/2007 18:25

mmmmm Alan Rickman.

Saw a very tall person in Tesco about a year ago. Then saw TV prog about UK's tallest man, who apparently lives round here. So think I saw UK's tallest man in Tesco.

A humble offering, but mine own.

yaddayule · 13/12/2007 18:26

Caprice in the loo, she had too much makeup on, but was very sweet and had a fab transatlantic twang

Ooh, ooh. when looking at a friend's friend's wedding pics I saw someone who looked like Armando Ianucchi.
'He looks like armando Ianucchi,' I said.
'It is Armando Ianucchi,' said friend.

FrannyandZooey · 13/12/2007 18:27

Lily Cole

Now I am always the Alan Rickman party pooper but HC was on a train with him and she said he smelt BAD

aWorminaManger · 13/12/2007 18:29

mmmmmmmmmmmmm Alan Rickman's manly sweat.

SlubbersRingAreYouListening · 13/12/2007 18:30

ggirlsbells. I live in a village in Cheshire, which is why I am somewhat dubious that it was the actual Alan Rickman. If it wasn't it was a very good lookylikey. He looked dishevelled.

OhGiveUsAPruniPudding · 13/12/2007 18:31

And I am the next person who always does down Rickman because I know someone who worked with him and he was a cunt.

OhGiveUsAPruniPudding · 13/12/2007 18:31

I hate using that word, but he was.

toastedteacake · 13/12/2007 18:32

Waitrose - the shop for actor spotting. I saw Zoe Wannamaker, looking lovely, by the fresh pasta.

FrannyandZooey · 13/12/2007 18:33

It wasn't manly sweat, it was bad BO and tobacco and worse

yes Pruni and you always decline to elaborate

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 13/12/2007 18:33

Pruni - pmsl ha ha ha

aWorminaManger · 13/12/2007 18:34

Bother. Manly swaet and dishevelled = quite a good thing. But bit of a cunt has to be a point against him

pagwatch · 13/12/2007 18:34

I was behind Billie Piper in the queue at Carphonewarehouse at the end of November. My DS was vaguely interested, my DD was nearly in tears because she didn't realise it was 'Rose' until after she had gone but the guy serving was REALLY excited and found it hard to concentrate on the phone we were trying to buy for DH's birthday

WeWhizzzYouAMerryXmas · 13/12/2007 18:37

On my hols in Cornwall I saw Lawrence Llewelyn‐Bowen & family carrying shopping into his house. LLB tripped up the steps. Sorry, did not identify the carrier bag type or mooch at his purchases.

OhGiveUsAPruniPudding · 13/12/2007 18:37

Well I decline to elaborate because it means telling the world what my MIL's highly specialised and quite unusual job is
Thereby making me quite identifiable to anyone who knows me
ANyway he does a good line in Hard Staring apparently until he gets what he wants (for starters)

toastedteacake · 13/12/2007 18:39

Also saw Kevin McLeod (sp?) outside Waitrose getting in his Land Rover.

ChristmastimeMILGEstoeandwine · 13/12/2007 18:44

Robbie Fowler and family were sitting on the next table to me in a restuarant recently. He is a footballer, so DH informed me.
