Saw the Pet Shop Boys going into HMV on the Kings Road a few weeks ago.

SpeccieSeccie · 13/12/2007 19:03

Pruners, Dylan Moran was the last famous person I saw, crossing Dundas Street, also saw him in park with kids a couple of months ago.

DH and I caught a plane with Mad Dog Johnny Adair the last time we flew. We couldn't work out if it made the journey safer or more dangerous...

NotEvenHopingForAWhiteXmas · 13/12/2007 19:15

James May in our High Street. Filming, so may not count.

Vic Reeves regularly- often in the cinema (he runs in after the lights go off!). Bob Mortimer in Tescos.

DH saw Sue Pollard at a station, and said she was just as OTT in RL as on TV.

Jonathon Rhys Meyers and Ruby Hammer's daughter next to us in check-in at Heathrow.
Flew back with Andrew Lincoln(Egg in This Life and also in Teachers on Ch4)He goes to the loo often

Russell Brand in Brighton last Saturday, but I paid for that so I don't suppose it counts.

Made some shirts for The Levellers this summer and one of them wore his on stage.Chatted to him in the afternoon. Also met the rest of the Levellers in a pub once and Dh bought the singer a drink.I just drooled.

Met Michelle Gayle backstage at a gig once(not admitting paying for that!)who was a lovely, lovely girl.
Got chatted up by the Ugly One out of Let Loose.(shoddy 'boy' band in the early nighties)
(i sound like I'm straw-clutching now,don't I?)

A Hairy Biker in my friend's tea rooms about a month ago... Dd(7) has made cup cakes for both of them cos her friend's grandad knows one, she's very cool about it though, not starstruck like me

PirateInaPeartree · 13/12/2007 19:29

Not very famous, but one of the BBC Breakfast weather presenters - Louise something or other - having a bit of a strop about the shortage of trolleys in M&S.

wardrobemistressakasugarfree · 13/12/2007 19:34

Is Ruby Hammer's daughter his 'companion' then Kerry?

SatsumaMoon · 13/12/2007 19:35

ISSKKN, you're not referring to Jonathan Rhys Meyers really ?

SatsumaMoon · 13/12/2007 19:36

Crossed posts.... I was quite surprised to find out his real surname recently (had assumed he was from some posh Anglo-Irish family because of his stage name, but au contraire....)

FatBellyHoHoHo · 13/12/2007 19:36

Paul O'Grady walking his doggies in Aldwych

At one time Shaun Ryder was regularly seen in my parents' town - and believe me there could have been nothing more incongruous!

JonesTheSteam · 13/12/2007 19:40

John Barrowman walking into Tesco's just outside Pontypridd with one of his female co-stars from Torchwood.

Very good looking in RL!

Earlybird · 13/12/2007 19:45

Country music fans will swoon when I say I saw Tim McGraw in the supermarket on Sunday. He was buying loads of crisps and snack food - presumably to watch one of the big American football matches that was being played later that day.

SilentBite · 13/12/2007 19:46

oh I literally bumped into Jimmy Carr yesterday in a marquee
