Not discounting famous folk in other parts mind you

i saw James May (I think) in House of Fraser in SOlihull with a lady. He tripped up the down escalator and looked embarrassed.

jampot, was he doing that thing that kids do, when they keep running up the down escalator?

no i think he thought they were going down then his "lady" decided to stay on the top floor so he had to try and leap off the escalator

A friend of my mums reckons she snogged russell brand the other night at a gig. Yeah right! More likely a kiss on the cheek if anything. This is a woman who has been flaunting her affair in front of her dhs face for the past year and pretending he's just a friend.

I've finally got one to add (you don't get many famous faces round these parts ).

It was Su Pollard doing some Xmas shopping in our local Woollies.

You will not be disappointed to hear that she was wearing flourescent yellowy shoes and matching huge glasses. She also sounded exactly like she does on the TV, in fact it was her voice that I recognised first.

and samuel l jackson walking jauntily down bond street.

dd saw Gok Wan yesterday in Touchwood - he was shopping

Saw Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Own all together in Manchester on Friday...

Monkey, I used to see Brett a lot. I was a big Suede fan. I used to wait after the shows and talk to him about cats, he was always on something though. I nearly shared a cab with him once, he invited me and I came over all honest and saidI was going to Victoria, not Notting Hill. [eeeekkk]

I saw Sally Gunnell yesterday. Her sons were at the same footballing day as my DS1.

Colin Firth in a greengrocers - Yes Mr Darcy! - I nearly fainted on the spot.

Ralph Fiennes lives in the same area as me so have seen him a couple of times. My Dog ran under his table outside restaurant and I had to retrieve him. Got a smile but no words.

Timothy Dalton in Sainsburys - he spoke to DD.

Dermot O'Leary - also Sainsburys.

James McAvoy and Anne Marie Duff on the tube.

Big Cook, little Cook also on the tube. I could have wept because DS was not with me and he loved them at the time.

Yes I am celebrity obsessed.

When I moved south for a job (to Surrey) I was reliably informed Dame Judy Dench is regularly seen in Waitrose - I have spent so much time and money in there over the last 2 years and stil not seen her. Can I sue?

Also my brother works in Bristol and has actually walked into Justin Lee Collins from The Friday Night Project - my brother is quite tall - Bro was v embarassed esp as JLC was with Wife and Kid

DH went to school with couple of lads who are in The Feeling as well

Sound like a right celeb spotter don't I - but the only person I have ever met is Kris Akabusi at least 20 years ago when he came to school for the day (some sports thing) and pushed my glasses back up onto my nose while I sat on his lap ( think I was about 5)

hedgehog, I see Judi Dench quite a bit as leave near her (which is nice, lol [wink}])

also see Davina a lot too, she is so well-groomed

and see lots of bods at work, most recent was Helen Mirren

have yet to see her in Waitrose (presume you mean the C branch?)

I see her at the garden centre sometimes, or school.
