Saw Chris Evans in our local department store a few years ago on Christmas Eve, in a terrible hurry with lots of bags, obviously doing last-minute shopping. As someone else said, he is surprisingly tall. Well, I was surprised.

monkeytrousers - agent!?
You are famous evolutionary psychologist??

Janni · 14/12/2007 19:32

lowri Turner - always jogging, Helen Baxendale at an indoor play centre, Kenneth Calman striding purposefully, Andrew Lincoln drinking coffee, John Hannah - sitting in a shop doorway talking on his mobile

Monkeytrousers · 14/12/2007 19:45

LOL Batty. I'm not an evolutionary psychologist at all - just a feminist who thinks the EP perspective can help feminism. I was an actor, who is thinking of taking it up again, hence a visit to the agent.

jingleoooggs · 14/12/2007 19:51

I saw Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane (her husband) last December in Debenhams in Plymouth - they were down here in panto.

Tony Robinson in a local pub in Cornwall where I was working, but it was about 10 years ago .

Monkeytrousers · 14/12/2007 20:04

Why have you removed you profile? I can't follwo you around the site now to see where all the interesting convos are!

monkeybutler · 14/12/2007 20:08

bubbles4 · 14/12/2007 20:12

Monkeytrousers · 14/12/2007 20:56

TutterrysChocolateOrange · 14/12/2007 20:59

my sleb spotting a bit thin on the ground since moving from larndan

chris tarrant in waitrose with his mum, looking dodgy in head to toe denim (chris, not his mother)

paul daniels, in same waitrose, sporting bizarre trilby + wool coat ensemble

walkinginaWILKIEwonderland · 14/12/2007 20:59

Saw Tyrone (from Corrie) in a pub in Manc and he tried to chat me and my sis up. He is VERY ugly!!!!

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 14/12/2007 21:00

ah-ha MT.
That's still quite exciting!
Tho I might think hard re agent choice on that evidence (Nick Cotton)
I think profile removing comes when you do seasonal nickname changes - which is a bit annoying as I also like to .. stalk. Very occassionally.
Might start tech thread on this very subject.

TutterrysChocolateOrange · 14/12/2007 21:02

used to see mr glenister and/or his wife beth goddard regularly before we moved

also, ant, dec, trevor mcd, that bird from cold feet and friends, lawrence dallaglio, the good looking rower, gordon ramsay

mustrunmorewantsanewname · 14/12/2007 21:06

I saw whatshismane that was Nigel in Eastenders. Yesterday. In John Lewis.

What a feeble contribution to make.

Monkeytrousers · 14/12/2007 21:09

Bauble99 · 14/12/2007 21:17

Helen Baxendale - Shopping with her 3 children in Waitrose

GrinningSoul · 14/12/2007 21:18

ELF1981 · 14/12/2007 21:19

Elf sobs at the misfortunte of living in Nottingham

celebs only come here to get arrested (Chris Tarrant) or to film about our crap restaurants (Gordon Ramsay)

If anybody spots Nicolas Cage or Jemery Clarkeson, could you like, I don't know, sit on them and text me so I can make my way over? It would make my week...

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 14/12/2007 21:22

lol elf!

Monkaaay! Have started tech thread - perhaps the matter might be resolved..
do we think namechanges are irredeemably naff or can we not think of amusing Xmas theme involving monkeys?

lizandlulu · 14/12/2007 21:23

i saw chubby brown in the services near blackpool about 6 years ago.
that is my claim to fame!
my mum sat next to james nesbitt in the food court at selfridges in brimingham a couple of years ago, and she says he was a right tw*t to the waitresses.

southeastastra · 14/12/2007 21:23

i see eastenders everyday

i once saw ewan mcgregor

Bauble99 · 14/12/2007 21:24

ELF.

But....Jeremy Clarkson?

ELF1981 · 14/12/2007 21:24

I'll pay somebody a grand if they see Bruce Willis and entertain them long enough for me to get to the celeb spotting lands to tell him I will forever be in awe of the picture of him in the Heat magazine, posing in the shower...

lizandlulu · 14/12/2007 21:25

oh, and chris chittel who plays eric in emmerdale lives in a village just out of our town, and he is often in waitrose.
our waitrose is the most northern one, and there does seem to be the best place for seeing famous people as my mum also saw edna birch (also emmerdale) in there.
