I saw Sophie Ellis Bextor in Boots.

She is very tall and pale and has a face like a coat hanger shoved into a balloon.

She wasn't terribly polite to the lady at the counter.

dh saw Rhyddian in Selfridges the other day being kitted out for the X Factor.

I quite literally bumped into Arsene Wenger at Fulham FC. I was going to my seat in the Directors Box, if you please! and I bumped into someone, said sorry, he said sorry back and me and my DB nearly wet ourselves with excitement!

Edinburgh during festival is meant to be good for star spotting - but I have only ever seen Les Dennis and Jonny Vegas.. my dp worked in London for years and was always seeing folk but again they are all pretty rubbish.. would love to see proper star or somebody really fancied

I saw that ferne cotton girl?? I think in costa in rickmansworth, and also that bloke off ground force type programmes (the rough looking one) in the ducky park with his kids.

My dp sees famous people all the time, he works as a customer care person at heathrow, taking disabled or vip people from a to b. I think naomi campbell was his last famous one, he even gets to chat to them.

I used to work for someone who used to be on a soap, about 10 years ago. He didn't have a big part (fnarr) and was a prat.

Yesterday in John Lewis on Oxford Street my mum got rather excited about seeing an actress in the lift and annoyed that I hadn't recognised her... Apparently she did a bisto advert.

Also I saw a girl outside Topshop who must have been famous, she was just impossibly gorgeous and immaculate.
